I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. All is great. Staff is extremely friendly except one person who has consistently been rude and odd at every visit over many years. She has not changed. On my last visit, she was the same as before. She works in the evening behind the counter. Do not try to engage with her.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The location is perfect, with stunning views across the vineyards of the region in all directions. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful, with street parking just outside the hotel. The room we stayed in on the city side was quiet, clean and very comfortable.

A really nice, boutique hotel, but reception staff on arrival were not friendly, unsmiling and were unhelpful. As wine professionals, we wanted to taste some tank samples of unfinished wine in the bar. The staff wanted to charge us €15 corkage per bottle, even though we were not going to drink these wines. We would have bought a bottle to drink after the professional tasting. Having stayed here for so many years, I was really disappointed with the reception.

Wonderful stay and location

Lovely hotel with modern comfort and beautiful views. Wine bar in hotel and breakfast offered each morning with both hot and cold options. Great location to walk around Sancerre and also close to many walking paths. I'd suggest getting a room with a balcony or view of the valley.

It's worth staying for the view

Fabulous stay. Room was clean and modern. Views from the bar balcony were breathtaking. Dinner was disappointing as served in a pot and microwave, which it did explain on the menu but our French isn't that good. Definitely would stay again. Pool was quiet and had plenty of loungers

Le Panoramic Hotel is a wonderful, modern, clean, convenient hotel, for anyone visiting the village of Sancerre, in the Loire Valley of France.

The property lives up to its name, as it is perched over the beautiful and mesmerizing Loire valley. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful, and the employees that I ran into spoke English, as well as French. The hotel also offers a breakfast, which I missed, but considering how wonderful the hotel is, I’m sure that the breakfast was wonderful too.

The location is just a 2 to 7 minute walk to most parts of this historic village and its numerous superb restaurants. The Tourist information office is just a 2 minute walk, and the people there are also very helpful.

I would be delighted to return to Le Panoramic Hotel and recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely town.

The young woman in TASTE Winebar was particularly pleasant and helpful and enhanced what was already a very relaxing, comfortable experience drink wine, eating light food and sampling exceptional Cognac.

I’m still in Sancerre and will be visiting TASTE again later this week with some guests.

The hotel has been remodelled and rooms reburbished since I last stayed here a number of years ago and I couldn’t have wished for a more comfortable, clean, modern place to relax for a couple of days amidst the vineyards of beautiful Sancerre.

Comfortable, modern hotel with beautiful, yes, panoramic, views of adjacent vineyard. Very good breakfast, nice wine bar with great selections. But, what really set this place apart is the staff - warm, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Three of the nicest people I've ever encountered at a hotel all work here. Beautiful, modern hotel with amazing views of the vineyards and central location in the medieval town of Sancerre. Also, a very nice hotel bar and wine tasting room with many local options. Service from front desk was below average for an American, English speaking visitor, but I recommend staying either here or at Hotel Restaurant Famille Bourgeois on a trip to Sancerre.

Wonderful hotel with great views

Staying at this hotel is a joy. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. You feel well looked after by the bilingual staff and the view of the vines from the bar balcony transports you to a calm and restful place.
The pool is quiet and well tended.
We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t comment on the food but it is very central so you can wander around the town and find local eateries.

Breakfast range very good although coffee disappointing. Would improve considerably with addition of bar and restaurant. Really well modernised hotel. Great modern feel and decore. Good location; a short and pleasant walk to the centre of town with great restaurants, cafe and shops. Views to die for and a very well situated outdoor pool which the kids (8&10) loved. Front desk were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Didn’t take breakfast (as went into town) but looked good and again beautiful space with views. Would recommend as base for some fantastic wine tasting @ local producers.

Originally came here for one night but fell in love with the place and had to stay a 2nd night. The rooms were pristine and so comfortable. The hotel has a contemporary and relaxing atmosphere. The views ove rthe Sancerre landscape are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend this treasure of a find.

This modern hotel in the small, hill-top town of Sancerre has a stunning view from every room and is easy to find. Easy, free parking across the street. Currently there's no on-site restaurant for dinner, but lots of restaurants and wine merchants are within 5-10 min. walking distance. Beautiful pool and terrace. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only stayed 1 night, but wish we could have stayed longer.

Ontbijt : lage kwaliteit volgens de prijs (heel heel basic, onsmakelijk vlees beleg, veel te hard gebraden worstjes,
gebakken ‘industriële eieren uit de plastic buidon, etc., waarschijnlijk met de bedoeling om er liefst heel weinig van te eten (goed voor de winstmarge) . Het gevolg is dat het niveau niet hoger is dan de lage prijs hotelketens langs de autostrades. Dus wel teleurgesteld volgens het nivedat het hotel laat uitschijnen. Ook te beperkte accomodatie met ongemakken in de badkamer waarbij het douche het water in de verkeerde richting loopt etc. Hotel zeker geen 4 sterren waard .

Déçu par la qualité de l'hôtel au vu du prix que l'on a payé, quand on se baigne dans la piscine on a pas très chaud il devrait prévoir une bâche le soir pour garder la chaleur, je pensais en me baignant voir les vignes mais au final on ne voit rien car il y a une haie et côté bâtiment c'est pas terrible car il y a une partie qui n'est pas fini et cela est moche, ensuite j'ai très mal dormi car la literie était de très mauvaise qualité et faut quand même avouer que la piscine faisait un peu vieillot, c'est dommage car cet hôtel à un fort potentiel

Je m’attendais à plus d’un 4 étoiles… bruit d’eau dans les tuyaux de la chambre constant, pas de petits réfrigérateurs ni machine à café dans la chambre. Un seul oreiller par personne.
Il manque les petits détails pour un 4 étoiles.
Mais la ville de Sancerre est magnifique!!!

Der Empfang war super herzlich und nett. Das Zimmer sauber und schön. Der Service in der Bar - welche unfassbar wenige Aussenplätze hat, war unsagbar langsam. Schade wenn man so eine schöne Lage hat und kaum Plätze zum draussen sitzen - und wenn nur 2 Personen servieren und das auch noch langsam dann ist das nicht ideal.
