Drainage smell from toilet all over the room

The toilet in my room smelled strongly to drainage and the smell was all over the room. I mentioned this to the reception who said that they had fixed it but ... same smell during the night.

Clearly lack of maintenance of an old hotel building. Not nice for a paying customer.

Bem localizado

Apesar de anunciarem que o hotel dispõe de ginásio, não corresponde completamente à verdade uma vez que não existe nenhum nas instalações do hotel. Contudo é para agradável surpresa dão acesso ao ginásio local que fica nas imediações do hotel (a menos de 2 minutos a pé) e dispõe de dois pisos e super bem equipado.
Em relação ao staff do hotel, todos os membros são super simpáticos.

Jag och min sambo stannade två nätter, var där pga SM rallyt. Vi är båda väldigt nöjda, hotellrummet var fint och välstädat. Sängen var jätteskön att sova i och frukosten var otroligt god. Personalen som tog hand om oss var proffessionell och alltid så glad och trevlig

Oklarhet i vilken typ av rum man skulle få, bokade svit och förväntade mig ett mer utrustat rum än det vi fick. De olika sviterna hade olika utrustningar men man visste inte vilket man fick vilket känns dåligt. Rummet var fräscht i övrigt.

Mysigt hotel i gammalt vackert hus.

Mysigt hotell, centralt, men ändå i ett lugnt område. Mysigt rum, men trångt (vilket vi visste om!), sängarna lite för mjuka. Mycket trevlig 0och tillmötesgående personal, god frukost även med lite goda pålägg från trakten, vilket var kul!

Hur detta kan vara ett fyrstjärnigt hotell är en gåta.Det enda positiva var att det var rent.Gratis parkering fanns inte fast det stod så i bokningen.Rummet otroligt litet.Undvik!

One night and no more.

We stayed here for one night, I don’t understand how this place is valued as 4 stars, it’s at highest 3. The toilet had a funky smell, dirty ventilations filled with dusts, the warm water took some time to get. The room had black mark stains on wooden floor, towels smelled like old cupboards.

The receptionist was very polite. If we knew the rooms conditions where this ”high valued” we would have choosen another hotel.

Mysigt hotell, bra frukost. Städningen lämnade en del att önska, skicken på rummet kunde varit bättre. Det luktade avlopp i badrummet, lyset i badrummet var dåligt, handfatet var pyttelitet så det blev blött överallt när man tvättade sig. Fattades en handduk så vi fick gå o be om en till.

Är nöjda med vistelsen förutom att vi upptäckte en pälsängel på rummet, dvs skadedjur. Vi informerade personalen vid incheckningen detta. Sedan skötte stor del av övriga gäster inte hygienen vid frukost trots tydlig info från personalen!

3 Night Business Trip

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as a part of a work trip. The staff working at the reception and breakfast were friendly and pleasant. My room was nice in general, but the bathroom was dirty. There was a lot of dust on the sink, shelf and light fixture. The shower head sprayed water out the sides. When I mentioned this to staff the next morning, the issues were fixed by the time I returned. Great that it was solved, but shouldn't have happened to begin with. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice flat panel tv. The sauna was nice after a day out in the cold. The breakfast was good. Overall, I would possibly stay again depending on what options were available.

Amazing comfort and service

Due to the covid-19 situation, I ended up staying much longer at this hotel than recorded in this appraisal. My length of stay was in fact long, 3 July - 12 August. Staff managed by the hotel director Gabbi were extremely serviceminded and kind. All efforts to help were there even for odd requests (borrow bicycle, fan in room, special breakfast modifications). I stay at many hotels every year and I know a good one with the "right" type of staff when I see it. This was definitely "it". I would recommend it to anyone and will surely go back myself as well. The room I had was large, open spacious with beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Well done, Anno 1937!!!

Perfect!

Fantastic service as soon as we walked through the door.
The room was spotless and we loved the way the windows in the bathroom made the room feel more spacious. The breakfast was more than perfect with both warm and cold food and we loved the ginger vitamin “shots”. As if that wasn’t enough the price of our double room was 20£ lower a night than the competition! The location was perfectly central.
Don’t bother staying anywhere else cause this was the best!

Really nice room and right next to the city center. The only strange thing was the glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom, otherwise it was a great stay and the breakfast buffet was really delicious — great with lactose free.

Need a ramp

It was overall good stay. There is level difference in hotel floor at various places which is quite a discomfort if you have heavy bags. A ramp can be a help.

Amazing Hotel!

I was so impressed with our room, it was even better than I was expecting. We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. Breakfast was included, it consisted of meats, cheese, breads, warm food and cereals, pretty good for an included breakfast! Free coffee and tea throughout the day. Access to the gym was great and was lovely to have. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends in the future, and I will definitely be coming back to the hotel when I return to Kristianstad! Thank you to all the lovely staff for making us feel so welcomed!

Rummet jag fick var lite som att bo i en grotta. Nån spindel, inget "riktigt" fönster (fönster mot nån mini-innergård som man inte ville ha öppet pga insynen och var inge ljus därifrån oavsett), väldigt dålig belysning (mörk även med alla lampor tända). Rummet såg inte riktigt ut som på bilderna heller tyvärr. Det finns säkert fina rum som ser ut som bilderna, men det jag fick kändes eftersatt. Smutsiga väggar i badrummet som nog inte hade torkats av på lång tid. Även lampan i badrummet var svag och lyste bara upp delen vid handfatet, i dushen var det mörkt. Väldigt svårt att hitta parkering/alltid fullt utanför (kanske för att det är sommar), man fick parkera väldigt långt bort de flesta dagar. På positiva sidan, supertrevlig personal och bra frukost.

Trevligt hotell med gamla anor!

Det var väldigt varmt både ute och inne, inget eluttag för att kunna sätta fläkten i fönstret.
Vi bodde i ett fint vindsrum och hade öppet fönster och när någon rökte kl 6 på morgonen, troligen grannen så kom det in till oss, äckligt!
Det saknades ett draperi eftersom badrummet hade glasrutor in mot sovavdelningen. Sköna sängarna och god frukost!

Fine and quiet stay. Room 101 is big and spacious. Comfortable beds and pillows. Big bathroom with bathtub. Free tea and coffee in the lounge. A little of everything for breakfast. Free parking in the weekends just outside the hotel. Quick and polite service from the employees.

When I booked the room I received an email from the hotel asking about our arrival time. They had written they needed this information to be able to prepare the room.
When we arrived, there was an unfriendly man behind the reception desk who was in ordiny clothes, not uniforms. He said check-in time is 16 and did not care about the fact that they had sent us an email. He fixed a room later for us. But all in all you could see organisation was not their strong suit.

The room had no aircondition. We had to keep the window open the whole time we were inside the room, even while sleeping. As a result we were hearing the street noise the whole night.
The wall between the sleeping part and the bathroom was from glass. There was no curtain or such available between the sleeping part and the bathroom. When one person went to toilet, the other one could see inside the bathroom.

In breakfast we tried different types of bread. None of them were fresh.

Miserabelt.

Hotel ligger centralt. Indcheckning fin. Ønsket vær som ikke lå i stuen. Gik gennem meget smal, dårligt lugtende gang og havner i lille vær med lofthøjde 2,1 m - føltes som at gå ind i et kælderrum. Lille bitte badeværelse hvor lamper blinkede hele tiden og vandet i bruseren løb - gik ikke at stoppe. Lykkedes desværre heller ikke at få varmt vand i bruseren på noget tidspunkt. God seng.
Morgenmaden var god.
