Given a smoking room and smaller than booked, then changed. Toilet stained. Restaurant closed on Sundays. Had to order food from outside and was grateful for plates and cutlery from staff who tried hard to please.

Good, well appointed rooms . Good. but leans towards expensive for French Hotel, breakfast.
Be warned about eating there!! The service is the slowest in the world- it kid you not. Kiss the best part of two hours for one course and a bottle of wine. People either complained or left mid meal. Parking great position good.

Could be great

Were there for 3 days in high temperatures. No air con in room, winter duvets, fan provided was I nadequate so room like a sauna! Were not told about road closures in the town of Soissons so that caused major driving problems. On the good side, the whole hotel had a pleasant, modern feel and within walking distance of restaurants and places to visit.

Rather overpriced for what one had

Rooms rather dark and pokey even though we had a deluxe . No air conditioning if you want it on 2nd floor. Room 205 would have benefitted and felt bigger if unnecessary stud wall was removed. Also no mirror at dressing table , so restricted use to dry hair etc if bathroom occupied . Lighting poor

Cons: Room was smaller than expected and lacked a bath which would be greatly appreciated. Swimming pool was too small to really do any "swimming" as such. Car park not very secure.

Pros: Great staff, very friendly and accomadating! Spotless room, nicely finished. Lovely food at the on site restaurant/bar. Excellent Wi-Fi.

Lovely hotel with plenty of parking under the hotel. Because of extensive road works in the road outside it was quite difficult to get to. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.

Quick and easy check in. A little out of town so very pleased that it had a decent restaurant.Close to one of the main attractions of the town. Enjoyed the pool (although a little crowded for it's size when we first arrived) and the steam room after having a long journey.
The bathroom was awful- it was a "wet" room so no shower cubicle therefore the floor was soaking after a shower and took hours to dry (no scraper provided) It was difficult not to get the towel very wet when drying oneself and if you needed the toilet before you went out you had to go in bare feet and dry them again. Also there was little space to hang towels up so they easily fell on the floor and got soaking.
On the way to our room there was a large tray covered in dirty crockery and glasses when we arrived at 4pm - it was still there at 8.30am when we left!

A good place to stay in Soissons

The hotel is lovely and well situated in Soissons. They do a lot to promote tourism in the town. The restaurant is good. The room and bathroom are comfortable. I was there during a heat wave and the lack of air-conditioning was the only negative. I needed to keep my windows open and there was noise from teenagers on the back side all night which along with the heat, did not make for a good night of sleep.

Style Over Substance

A beautiful new hotel that has not had certain features thought through. Room was oppressively hot although there was a small fan in the room it was noisy enough that it could not be used through the night. New hotel should have air-con. The shower area in the bathroom had no lighting. The toilet system did not flush too well and the lower part of the bowl below the waterline was very stained. Only three electrical sockets in the room (one of which did not work) so with a fan on, a light on and a computer plugged there was nowhere to plug in a hair dryer, mobile phone etc.

With a few changes this could be an exceptional hotel but at the moment it is rather overpriced for what it offers.

Soissons is a working French town, not touristy at all. Plenty of shops and a few good restaurants. The hotel is 5 mins walk from centre. Staff were great. Hotel modern and very nice. We had a spacious terrace on 3rd floor which I imagine would be lovely in summer. Kettle with tea and coffee in room but no mini bar.

A very nice hotel in Soissons

I spent one night while I was visiting family in Soissons. Loved the convenient underground parking and free wifi. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. The food in the restaurant was good. If I were to go back, I would request a room facing St Jean de Vignes.

Worth a visit

Good hotel but the pillows on the bed were very uncomfortable. Staff were efficient but didn't smile much or enter into a conversation. The hotel was easy to find because of its proximity to the Abbey ruin which is just across the road and can be seen for miles. In fact the hotel is worth a visit just to see this edifice which is unbelievably beautiful, especially at night when it is lit up and you can see the incredible detail of the carvings.

I took one of the terrace rooms; unfortunately was not lucky enough to get the view over the delightful 14century abbey that the hotel is opposite. The room and hotel is modern, plenty of free car parking, and most importantly comfortable. I didn't find the lack of air conditioning an issue as was able to sleep with the terrace door open. Restaurant had some great wine although I found the food just average and a bit over priced.

We appreciated: good service at reception, nice meal in the restaurant with friendly and helpful waiting staff, secure underground car park. Shame we arrived too late to take advantage of the swimming pool. Room had very comfortable bed and excellent shower room, TV has UK channels. The room was very warm, considering it was not great weather when we stayed (mid August). Without air conditining, I should think it would have been uncomfortable in very hot weather.

Best Western in Soissons

This hotel seems pretty much brand new. It can be a little difficult to find, since the satnav to the address stops you a bit down the hill and round the bend, from where the hotel is not visible - best to use their map. It's opposite the ruins of the old Abbaye, which make a fantastic setting for a late-night drink on the terrace. Furnishings and amenities are superb, very modern, and lots of car parking under the building. Breakfast is pretty good, but a pricey optional extra at 13E50 per person - make sure you get full value. Our only complaint in a spell of hot and humid weather was that it was impossible to cool down the room in the evening and night - there is ventilation, but not enough cool the room.

Nous avons réservé une chambre avec un grand lit et avons eu des lits jumeaux mis côte à côte, même pas accrochés l’un à l’autre.
Le parking ne ferme pas, est sous l’hotel. De là on prend l’ascenseur directement vers les étages des chambres, sans badger, sans aucun contrôle. Quand nous sommes remontés après dîner, il y avait un vélo dans le couloir desservant notre chambre.
Le chambre est petite, le lavabo pas pratique, il devrait être équipé d’un robinet plus haut. La douche est sombre, elle n’est pas éclairé.
Radiateur fermé, la clim au plus bas (qui ne soufflait pas je pense) il faisait 25°C dans la chambre. Nous avons laissé la fenêtre ouverte toute la nuit pour avoir 23°C.
Le petit déjeuner n’est guère mieux que dans un hôtel ibis.
Payer plus de 140€, petit déjeuner inclus, à Soissons pour ça, est injustifié

en revanche le restaurant recommandé par le Michelin nous a un peu déçu.
mon entrée (crabe et langoustines) est arrivée --> il manquait les langoustines qu'ils m'ont apporté 5 min après à part
mon dessert (tartelette matcha) est arrivé sans sa glace --> j'ai du la réclamer
un peu dommage pour un restaurant qui se veut un peu chic mais très bon malgré tout.

Enregistrement rapide & clair, jeune homme à la réception très gentil. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine (31° parfait avec un enfant de 3 ans) et du room service pour dîner.
En revanche, bémol pour le petit déjeuner en chambre : un mini petit pain, un mini croissant et une fin de baguette. Il aurait été bien de voir que la chambre était occupée par un petit histoire de rajouter une ou deux mini viennoiseries. Confiture seulement, pas de miel ou de pâte à tartiner. La prochaine fois, on descendra !
Aussi, la personne du matin a demandé si nous étions deux adultes - la réservation indique pourtant un adulte et un enfant de 3 ans.

Séjour calme sauf à 4h du matin réveillée par des rires dans le couloir. Globalement un bon hôtel mais quelques points à revoir.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits au Setai avec mon fiancé. Nous avons été conquis et nous y retournons pour notre mariage !
L'hotel est magnifique, les chambres splendides et impeccables !
L'accueil est parfait, le service irréprochable (ce qui est rare à Tel Aviv). Tout le personnel est aux petits soins, c'est vraiment agréable.
La piscine offre une vue magnifique dont on ne se lasse pas ... et les cocktails y sont délicieux :)
Petite note particulière pour le petit déjeuner qui est excellent !
Je recommande évidemment sans hésitation, pour moi il s'agit du meilleur hôtel sur Tel Aviv !
