Broken Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi did not work at all during my two-day stay. When I reported the issue, the staff said they had “requested a technician,” but their tone suggested no one would actually come to fix it. When I asked for an ETA, the response was simply like I don’t know.

Cleanliness Issues: The apartment was not very clean. It felt quite dated, and the bathroom in particular had an unpleasant odor, similar to urine.

Staffing & Service: It seems the staff are shared with the nearby Halo Hotel. Even though I called 30 minutes in advance as instructed, I still had to wait outside for 10 minutes before someone arrived. There was no on-site staff presence and no room service provided during the stay.

Property is in a beautiful, lively location. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper - we stayed in the apartment with windows that open to the alley entrance. It was so loud each time someone entered the shared common area, there is no sound proofing and the door slams at all hours of the night and morning. Walls are paper thin, we could clearly hear our neighbors next door singing until 2am. The smell of the apartment and common area is almost unbearable, we are thankful we only had to stay one night - it’s smells strongly of mold/mildew or sewage. We had check out at 11am and needed to store our bags until we left at 12pm - they charged us $20 for one hour of storage. Overall, would NOT book this stay again when visiting Seville.

Checkin is at another location around the corner. We checked in, then she walked us around where the apartments are located. We were on the 2nd floor. Room was clean with plenty of room for the 2 of us.
Problems:
The bed was very hard. It’s ok if you like hard beds.
Noise was HORRIBLE all night. The walls are extremely thin, and you hear every conversation in other rooms. We heard loud snoring right behind us. Everyone coming in and out for the night was loud in the middle foyer. You hear everything. For some reason, the people above us were stomping around and banging things ALL NIGHT. We did not get any sleep whatsoever.
The breakfast was not good, and very pricey for what you get. That seems to be the norm for Spain hotels. We went somewhere else after the first morning, much cheaper and better food. The wait staff seemed more worried about collecting everyone’s money than putting out more food.
NOW, Sevilla was SUPERB. We loved Sevilla. Great place to visit.

The apartment is a sound machine. From the noise from the street below, the neighbors across the street to the other occupants of the other apartments very echoy and the doors make alot of noise. Was there 5 nights had 1 good night sleep. The location is awesome. No where to sit comfortably but the bed as the chairs were very uncomfortable. The bathroom and the kitchen table and chairs need a lot of refresh. The employees were awesome.

Really cute apartment, great staff!

The apartment was very cute, Joaquin Rodon, the staff at the reception during the time of our check-in was super lovely and friendly! He even welcomed us with some champagne and gave me a travel adapter to use during the duration of my stay. He made our stay very comfortable and helped us out a lot! The room was clean however, there was a dead cockroach in the wardrobe but we didn't use the wardrobe so not much of an issue for us! Otherwise, really lovely stay! The breakfast could have been better as the food wasn't that tasty, and I personally don't think its worth 15 euros per person.

Primero lo bueno: Excelente ubicación justo en el casco antigüo y a pasos de muchas atracciones, restaurantes y compras. El apartamento esta equipado con lo necesario para hacer desayunos.
Lo malo: Es un edificio de 3 pisos, viejo y de madera, tuvimos la mala suerte de quedarnos en el primer piso y no pudimos dormir, se escuchan los pasos, portazos y cada cosa que sucede en los pisos de arriba. Además esta en un callejón muy concurrido y se escucha la gente pasar día y noche.
El internet de la propiedad dejó de funcionar y no tuvimos por el resto de la estadía.

Strangely run, needs more attention

Place was well located, but hard to check in. Despite what the email communication said to do, we had to read a note left on the door to the place to know to check in at the hotel around the corner. They showed us inside and to our room. The bathroom had some ceiling repairs that were terribly done esthetically, but worked well enough. Lighting was low and limited. Beds didn’t have enough pillows to sit up with, which was necessary because there was limited comfortable seating in the place. They need to fix the kitchen kick plates at the bottoms of the cabinets as they are painted cardboard and there were coffee pods, but no coffee maker that took them.

NOT a nice last night in Seville

We could not check in at proper time because the last guest was late departing. ok, we'll wait at a nearby bar. We returned to be told the last guest now had left the heat turned on (in +30deg Celsius weather, no less). We got checked-in after another wait in the hotel bar. They would not even give us a courtesy free drink for our delay. We ended up arguing and paying the measly 6 Euros for our drinks ! We showered and went out for a bit. Returned to the room before supper to find the room unbearably hot. Another visit to the front desk. After more lively discussions, and their call to senior management to figure what to do, Carlos got us another room across the street on the second floor. An upgrade the 2nd young agent proclaimed ! It is 8PM, we re-pack and move. During the night we are awoken at 3AM by the garbage truck collecting traash in the courtyard. We could not get back to sleep so at 6AM headed to the airport for our 17 hour flight home. NOT a nice last night in Seville

My husband accidentally booked this place not realizing that this was actually the same place that was posted with different pics which got bad reviews. So I called Expedia asking to cancel but the hotel refused our request despite we sent our request immediately (less than one hour after we booked) with the reason being it was a non-refundable booking. We had no choice but to stay there.The check-in process was not easy. We had to wait for someone to come and opened the door, the check-in 'desk' was in the open area and smelled very strong like sewer. The room was by the alley where people were passing and we could hear them talked loudly because it wasn't soundproof. The floor was dirty and we could smell the strong sewer-like smell like outside; the toilet was not attached to the floor so it moved when I used it and AC didn't work. We addressed the issues and they tried to fix it right away by securing the toilet to the floor, giving us a spray for the sewer smell and a fan for the non-working AC. It didn't help. I got headache from the smell and couldn't sleep. They moved us to a room in another building on the second floor with narrow and dark stairs. The room dirty and dusty. Bathroom floor was very dusty. The bed and pillow were dirty and not comfortable. We couldn't sleep the whole night so we decided to leave early in the morning to the airport few hours before our flight time.This condition was also described in the reviews by past guests.

Bed sheets were ultra thin and made the bed uncomfortable. Pillows were the thinnest I have ever had the misfortune to use. Every night at 3AM, the garbage truck is in the street collecting, with hydraulic motors grinding, and loud banging. One night, at 5AM, two empty laundry carts were wheeled down the cobble-stone street. Of course our windows are open; it was 30deg C during the day. Our front desk person, Carlos, during check-in, said if we ever need anything, to come ask and they would help. Our two free Nespresso coffee pucks were not replaced after our first morning. We went to ask Carlos for replacements. Carlos could not find any replacements that would fit our Nespresso machine in our room. He said come down the next morning to the hotel's cafe for coffee. OK. The next morning, we show for coffee. The lady at the front desk says Carlos is mistaken. The coffee is provided with the paid buffet. I said, \"OK, so you have coffee available in the cafe, no?\" She repeats strongly that the coffee comes with the full buffet and denies us to go get a coffee. Not a nice person or stay at Santa Cruz

Instructions for check in were not clear. When we arrived there had been a plumbing issue that made the whole place stink. Our apartment stunk when we moved in and the electricity was out. Once we notified the reception, they fixed it rapidly (both smell & electricity)

The location is difficult to find, but we did eventually find our way with the assistance of the property attendant. We were given a twin room even though we requested a double. This was a bit disappointing, but understandable given there was an event on the coming weekend.
The wifi was useless and the heat did not work. The beds were also on very flimsy frames and were not at all comfortable matresses.
These were our major issues. We had to find a cafe to plan out out trip with maps. We couldn't use our phones at all.
Of everywhere we've stayed in Spain so far, this was the biggest let down. We've stayed in nicer hostels. If you can afford to spend a little more, do it.

It’s procedure for staff to walk into your room

We woke up to find the man from reception entering my room. He made some nonsensical excuse for being there, but he clearly wasn’t expecting to be discovered and was flustered and we heard him run down the stairs. It was truly horrifying. He clearly had some nefarious intentions and we felt violated. I tried to complain to the hotel but they tried to explain it was and said it was procedure, though the excuse they gave was completely different from the receptionist’s. Seville is a beautiful city, but our holiday was completely ruined by this creep in our room and the hotel belittling our experience. If you want privacy and professional staff, stay elsewhere.

There was an electric jug in the apartment but no tea cups fridge etc. These small things would go along way to make the stay more comfortable. So hog need to be able to keep your water cold and a nice hog drink after walking all day would be a plus. Sometimes you like to put your feet up and rest.

The property was private. It had a very nice Terrace which we could sit out on and which gave a nice overview of the Plaza below. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was well located near most of the tourist features of Sevilla. Quiet at night when the windows were closed. Doors were easy to secure. A little on the small size, but to be expected for a very old building in an old part of the city.

Also, check-in for this property is based at a different location, Plaza Doña Elvira, 3, not Plaza Doña Elvira, 5. You cannot drive a vehicle to the check in-location but can easily walk there from nearby public parking garages.

Great location in old city and quiet at night. Comfortable beds, very sparse kitchen. Key pick up at Hotel Halo (does not correspond to address given-just go to front desk at Halo). Fantastic tapas bar nearby El Pasaje. Apartment has a nice patio but very enclosed so you don't see much -not what's shown on website when you book. A bit too pricey for what you get but overall good for a party of 4 (two bathrooms) -we were only 2 and booked an apt for two. They have various apts so they probably gave us what was available. Go to Latin Quarter -very nice. 25 min to train station with traffic, 10 min without traffic.

I booked an apartment but due to a glitch in their booking system it wasn’t available when I arrived to check in. They put me in a room in the Halo hotel for the first night then a suite the second night. Both rooms were fantastic, tastefully furnished and with excellent bathrooms. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The only slight downside is that it can be a bit noisy until around midnight so if you’re a light sleeper maybe not the best. I was fine though - you tend to stay out later in Spain and a small price to pay for such a great central location. Very pleasant reception staff too. Highly recommended.

We attempted to stay in the old town of Seville but this apartment was most difficult to deal with. The day before we got there they emailed us that we had to park a few minutes away and walk to a different place to check in. So we got near the parking garage and found it to be full. I called and they gave me the name of another one. After driving in circles for an hour, we parked at the garage and waited for someone to come out. Finally we made it in the garage in a space so small we couldn't exit the car. This would cost about 30 pr day. Then we walked with bags for another 20 minutes trying to find the office. With the help of strangers we made it to the office. They only had us down for 1 night even though I had an email saying we had 2. So after the first night, we had to move our bags again. The lady working there had a difficult attitude and I truly wanted to go somewhere else. They need to communicate better and remember that travelers don't need a hard time when they are exhausted. If I could do it again, I would stay at a hotel and forget all of this headache!

convenient, but dated. - and no in-room wifi

when asking about a laundry service, I expect hotel staff to mention their inhouse service that charges EU2.30 to wash a pair socks, and EU8 to do pants. I ALSO expected them to assist us with finding a coin operated self serve laundry where normal people would also do their washing but a blank face was all we got. Disappointing.
In this day and age, in-room wifi is a must. We had mobile data so we got by, not everyone will I'd suggest.
Checking in was a hassle as never having been to Seville before, Google Maps sent us on a merry, white knuckle ride driving out rental car into insanely narrow streets, until we stopped, and found the apartments (and their check in was at a different hotel - not mentioned in our booking information). We eventually parked 600m from our room at EU22.50/day - live and learn for next time. For those who drive on their holidays, there needs to be adequate signage for stupid tourists like me (and yes I admit it!!) - that says \"don't even THINK about driving a car into Seville's old town\".
We laughed next day reading an advisory about not towing a caravan into Seville - we laughed very hard in fact!!
So yes, we have a sense of humour, but Santa Cruz apartments are dated (and that's fine), but with no in room wifi, and difficult access, it takes the edge of a visit to an incredible part of Spain. I think these details should be in their online information a lot clearer than it might be today.
We still had a good time, and were comfortable.

What a disappointment

A horrible stay:. The apartments were not cleaned unless you paid 40 euros, the room was tiny, the bathroom worse (one could barely sit at the toilet) and basically things were ignored like a place to put the soap in the shower, batteries for the remotes, a decent paint on the walls that looked decaying and dirty. The only decent thing was the location. There was NO wifi in the room, only at the reception that was in a different Street! Don't stay here!

Amazing apartment in the center of the Barrio

We had a lovely and spacious apartment that was perfect for our stay in Seville. It felt like an authentic experience living like a local in an apartment along a tight street.

The main complaint is that the WiFi did not reach the apartment. We had to go to the main lobby or sit in the Plaza de Elivra (which was lovely) in order to get WiFi. This was very frustrating.

The staff was very helpful with recommendations.

It is also difficult to locate the hotel because it is in the middle of an area where no cars are allowed. The hotel provided a map but it didn't label all of the streets and was a little confusing (especially after 10+ hours of international travel). I'd recommend printing your own map with turn-by-turn directions and complete street names to find it. Once you know where it is, it's easy to find and centrally located to all of the great spots in Seville.

The apartment is well located to explore the old part of Seville but as it is pedestrian you can't get a car near it. The apartment was perfectly clean but was a little tired looking in places and would benefit from some more modern fittings. Everything we needed for our one night stay was there but we were pleased not to be staying there for longer than the one night mainly due to the noise from outside and the apartment is next to restaurants and bars with constant chatter and tables and chairs moving etc and every sound could be heard including the rumbling of suitcases on the cobbles.

I would not hesitate to use the hotel company again I would just not choose to stay at this apartment again.

The apartment is gorgeous and located in the pretty Jewish quarter. Perfect condition, perfect place. Very close to the points of interest. Highly recommended.
You need to pay attention that the check in place is not at the same place. Fortunately not very far.

We enjoyed our stay here and recommend Apartamentos Suites Santa Cruz. It is in a very convenient location. Very close to the Alcazar, Cathedral, and lovely plazas and restaurants.

I was concerned because we had a 7AM flight when we were leaving. The hotel called a taxi for us, and told us the taxi driver would meet us at the hotel and help us with our luggage. The hotel is located in a pedestrian zone, so this was very helpful to us.

This is a good place to stay for the price

I liked that it had a kitchenette and more space than a standard hotel room. Great that there is no car traffic as it's on a busy alley, busy with human traffic. But quiet enough throughout the night. It was clean. Desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

A really lovely stay in a superior apartment with private terrace and a view of the top of the cathedral. Very good central location and excellent local bars/restaurants. The furniture on the terrace was a bit dated and the lighting in the kitchen for cooking could have been a bit brighter, but overall a very good place to stay. Booked a long way in advance and got a good rate. Would recommend.

Perfect location, good stay!

We had difficulty finding the place even though we were given instructions how to get to reception. The instructions via email did not say that we would check in the hotel reception. We were looking for Apartamentos Suites Sta Cruz! Had to ask a few people trying very hard to speak Spanish. However, the staff were really helpful and cool!!! My husband left his phone on the bus and the staff called the bus company about it. The apartment we rented in was very comfortable. We chose the one with a private terrace. The terrace doesn't offer a clear view but it was okey. The apartment had two bathrooms/toilets, lounge room, a little kitchen and a good sized bedroom. The not so good thing was the noise from the AC. It was deafening! We switched it off but could hear the one downstairs. Overall, our stay was good. The apartment is in a perfect location!!!

Hotel located in the heart of everything

Me and my wife had a good stay at this hotel. The only thing we were surprised about was that there was no in room safe or mini bar. Also I booked the junior suite and the photo for the bathroom is a lot bigger in the Expedia website which is very
misleading because the bathroom was very small.

Great central location in the old town in Seville.

The apartment was separate from the hotel/check-in and only a couple minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment had three rooms and all were in very good condition...the bed was very comfortable.

The location was perfect...very close to the cathedral and many other nearby sites.

Could not be in better place for sights of Seville

Taxi from train station had to drop us at Plaza Santa Cruz as entry into the tiniest streets is for foot traffic. A few minutes walk no problem. Check in is actually at Plaza Dona Elvira number 5 at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and informative.
The Alcazar Real and the Cathedral are very close and can be reached on foot in five minutes or less. You need to allow a half day for Alcazar and at least two hours for the cathedral and its tower.
Another little gem to visit is the Hospital de la Sacerdotes Venerables, about 50 metres from the apartment. Opening hours are narrow 10-2.
Wandering around the town was enjoyable. Plenty of other things to see.
There are large numbers of restaurants and tapas bars in the Santa Cruz area.

lovely apartment in heart of Seville

Very scenic location in the heart of Seville. One disadvantage is that vehicles dont come right up, so you need to walk a minute or so to the reception/ units. The unit we stayed at was very beautiful and clean. Old world charm. In the heart of Seville, almost touching the Alcazar! lovely location, walkable to all the attractions and easy to eat in this area. reception is great, arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport as we arrived around 11.30pm at night, the taxi man walked us right up to the reception, as I am sure we would have been lost otherwise. Located right in the middle of all the lovely little windy streets. amazing!

Nice place, bad customer service and bad internet

It's a nice property, In case you run into a problem during your stay, good luck in having them treat it seriously.

Internet in my room was choppy and barely got signal most of the time. I complained 4 or 5 times but they never did anything about it. Sometimes they would blame it on my devices (can't be that all 4 devices we had were bad). Other times they would promise to look into it tomorrow but next day there would be a new person clueless about the issue, hence no closure. Sometimes they would suggest I go use it in a cafe!

I had some emergency work and family matters to attend due during my vacation , hence the importance of the internet connection. and the whole Seville experience became terrible due to this bad service and bad internet. I would not recommend this place.

It was exactly as I expected. The apartment was a good size and was spacious enough for 4 of us to lounge around after an exhausting day sightseeing. The kitchen is equipped with sufficient cooking facilities, a real plus point, as other hotels we have stayed in in Spain doesn't have tea/coffee facilities.

Cosy hotel but need little bit more comfort

Generally it was good stay in close proximity to main historical amenities.
Room was spacious. Hotel is in old town, very romantic. However this would be a trouble for travellers with car, as streets are too narrow even for pedestrians, not saying about traffic. So cars must be left outside old town, and it was difficult to find parking nearby. So we have walked about 15 minutes with our luggage on bumpy ancient streets. As well there was no elevator in the building, so one will need to lift luggage to the room in person. This was not a big issue for us, but might be an obstacle for some elder people or families.
Despite hotel is positioned as apartment there was no kichinette or even tea maker, no minibar/freezer and also no iron in the room. Reception has confirmed that it is not provided even by request or for the fee. So if you like to drink coffee/tee, you need each time to go to restaurant nearby what is not always posible and also more expensive.
Breakfast was very basic, but generally enough.
Out of above it was good experience.

Enchanting roof top terrace in old Town.

Part of the fun of staying in old Town is finding your way. If you can relax and enjoy the scavenger hunt through the labyrinth of plazas and kissing streets then old Town is for you and I recommend apartmentos de la Cruz. Our apartment slept 3. Had a small kitchen which was furnished with except I didn't see a coffee maker or toaster but we didn't intend to do any cooking. The highlight was the terrace which had a view of the alcazar and the cathedral as well as the other roof tops. We fell in love with this charmer. Beatriz and Alejandro were so helpful, they booked us in and arranged flamenco for that night.

Lovely room in the centre of old Seville

Lovely room in the centre of old Seville. It is very central so the noise of bars, street cleaners and tourists keeps it vibrant, though this is not a room for light sleepers or those after peace and quiet. But there are wonderful tapas bars and all of the sites are right on your doorstep and you can watch Seville go by from your bedroom window.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I'd ever slept in, wifi was good and the aircon was efficient and quiet. There is plenty of space and the room is nice enough to just hang out in during siesta time - but despite calling themselves apartmentos, there is no kettle, fridge or any other facilities in the room. This is a hotel room away from the main hotel building.

Staff were very pleasant. Stayed in apartment Grande Puerta. Unfortunately second bedroom with two singles has no windows and just a thin curtain positioned off the dining room. So occupants were constantly awoken by noise. Main bedroom was quiet. Dining room was heavily leaking water from rain and there was a continual big puddle of water in there.

This was a great experience by staying one night at this premises. The hotel staff esp the lady from front desk called Shilla is cheerful and helpful. The home deco and corridor design is full of Andalucia feel. If I will come back Seville I am sure I will come back to stay in this apartment despite there is no lift and the wifi is slow in speed The big luggages can simply leave it at reception and just take the little stuff with you for daily use

Great hotel, rushed service.

I'm being forced to whittle down my review, so here's the abridged version.
There are enough kitchen supplies although, would have preferred to have knives that can actually cut something. We bought some snacks to share prior to going out and the knives were a joke; ended up tearing everything and making a huge mess; not much of a problem except for the fact that chorizo grease is not something you want to spread everywhere (especially dressed to go out).
The biggest problem I had with the service was the rush to get us out the door. The cleaning lady came knocking on the door 1.5hr before check-out time. We told her that we were still getting ready and also needed to pack. She came 3 TIMES rushing us to get out BEFORE CHECK-OUT TIME!!! The front service even called us on the phone to ask that we leave ASAP because the next guests were attempting to check-in and they wanted to give them the room. It is not our problem that the next guests showed up 4 hours before check-in. It was really rude of them to rush us, and no apology was offered.
Given the niche market they have; an apartment, great location, decent amenities, ok price, etc; I will still stay there next time, but I will not allow them to rush me like that again.
Oh, \"internet provided\" is a joke. It is in a different building down the street and the service does not reach the apartment. Who doesn't offer Wi-Fi nowadays??? Come on, given the price-point of this apartment, it should be expected.

Perfect apartment in perfect location

We had a great stay in Seville. The apartment was beautiful and the roof terrace was a great surprise. The staff at the hotel were just marvellous, super friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. The location was perfect, loads of little lanes to explore, two minutes from the cathedral and the alcazar, 15 minutes wander to the setas. Great restaurants and cafes just outside the front door - really couldn't ask for more.

We'd definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Great access to sights of Santa Cruz and vicinity. Fairly noisy during the day and often at night as it overlooks a square with two restaurants.
