Very cool place, if you like fishing, diving or anything to do with the water. Great Bahamian vibe. If traveling with small children (I was ) you do need to keep an eye on them because the marina has lots of bull sharks that hang out there. But for me that’s part of the fun. Love it

The staff at Big Game was very friendly and helpful. Mr. K was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a pleasant stay. The staff at the front desk, specially Shaundra, were all very nice and Sherri at the restaurant made our dining experience great as well. The dock master was also very helpful and a few other staff members who also helped with recommendations and general questions made our stay a pleasant one. The restaurant options were great and we enjoyed Prime Rib Saturday. The views here are spectacular without the resort crowd.

RUN AWAY! Horrible! We were there for a week with a bunch of people. This “resort” was more like a run-down Motel 6. Very dirty and horrible service. Bed sheets had hair and sand in them when we checked in. This shows they didn’t change the sheets before we checked in. Hairs in sink and shower too. The wall below the wall unit air conditioner showed signs of mold. Another room had straight up mold on the air conditioner and wall. Food was less than mediocre. This “Motel 6”-type place charged more than the upscale clean casino resort for the room, food and drinks. Expect to pay $15 for a non-alcoholic drink. They had horrible service and less than mediocre food. Their horrible service is probably due to the fact there’s a mandatory 20% tip in your bill. So they don’t care since they are automatically getting 20% tip. We ordered a pizza that came out literally half the pizza burnt. We told the waitress, and she said it was burnt “just a little bit” and she walked away. She consistently burnt the pizza, didn’t make the drinks right, and told us they didn’t have stuff that they had. So we would only go there if the guy was working and not her. Asked for strawberry syrup on top of my pina colada. She told me they didn’t have the strawberry syrup. So I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and she made that with the non-existent strawberry syrup. They consistently had the property restaurants closed way before the posted closing times because the kitchen decided to close early. The waitres

1) LOVED having the property ON the water, watching the fishing boats and yachts come in and walking to Radio Beach for swimming and picnics.
2) LOVED the snorkel ship wreck / reef shark adventure with Captn Caleb and Bella. Absolutely a safe, bucket list type of experience! 5 stars.
3) LOVED the Mahi Reuben at the Conch Seafood Bar - staff was great!
4) Rooms were big, clean and spacious.
5) Great value for the amount of activities we did on property and around the island. Very convenient.

Bimini is an adventure island full of great watersport activities (jet skis, diving, snorkeling, swimming, fishing)

Love Big Game - but could use a few tweaks!

LOVE Big Game Club!!! The atmosphere cannot be beat & the convenience to the dive shop is the best. Loved our first floor room with the patio this time around. And thankful they took down the coconuts since we witnessed one falling (from a tree full of them) & almost hitting someone in the head last time we were here. No other complaints except that people do get rowdy here, which is fun, but needed my headphones to fall asleep one night since people were quite loud in the room next to us & the walls are not the thickest. The rooms could use some insulation in that regard.

Dinner options from the executive chef were phenomenal from a fish fry Friday to prime rib Saturday! Nothing beats that! We were upgraded and had a lovely suite with a large shower, separate living room and big kitchen. Easy to get around town, close to several stores and restaurants. Noise was not overwhelming.

Sadly, Big Game Club is being mismanaged and lacking maintenance. It's literally falling apart. Too bad since it has a great history for the last 50 years or more. Completely disorganized and seems like ownership isn't spending any money to maintain or improve. Staff is very nice but, very understaffed and they have nothing to work with.

Shocking hotel and I paid nearly $400 after taxes and fees! RUN from this hotel! I can not believe, nor do I understand, how this hotel received any positive reviews. It is a dump! My room was made of cinder blocks painted yellow, I walked down what seemed like a scary alley way to get to my room which was at the back of the hotel, (I reserved a poolside room) next to a fence draped in mangled fabric overlooking a construction site, the shower handle came off in my hand, the room paint and grout were peeling and dirty, tv quality was poor every channel was pixelated, miscolored, lastly there was no internet reception. Not the worst thing but when you have work to do, it's a problem. I felt like I was in a third world country on the opposite side of the planet. Lovely people on the island but run from this hotel!

Restaurant Food was good, but the service was absolutely comical. I kept hearing about \"Bahamian Time\" but these folks took their lackadaisical attitudes to a whole new level. They know their 18% is built into the check and they really could not care any less. I expected this butter friends were pissed.

Let me start by saying that I do like Big Game. The staff was very good and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful and the room very clean. However, we chose this place to stay at Big Game over the Hilton (which was cheaper) because of the free kayak and paddleboard rentals. They apparently stopped this after the hurricane but continue to advertise. This was a big disappointment as we then had to pay to rent up at the Hilton. The island is also having power issues - it went out several times a day for hours with no back up generator. Not Big Game's fault, but we later found out that the Hilton never lost power. No power made it tough to order any food for meals and communicate to home through Wifi. I would stay at Big Game again (the Hilton was like a Las Vegas Casino with no island charm), but please remove the free kayak rentals and reduce your prices accordingly. It was false advertising. They do have free bike rentals which was much appreciated.

The dive shop is in this property, very convenient. And the hammerhead dive is unique. The grill bar next to the dive shop is great. Electricity not stable, went off a few times in our stay. Water also been cut off for an hour. And they are remodeling their entertainment room during high season. Pool table, ping pong table etc. nothing available.

Big Game is an old resort, the first day the food from upper deck bar was fantastic, the second day there they closed it and started a complete remodel leaving us no place onsite but a grill after 100pm to eat very disappointed we ended up eating chips and salsa from the small market they have onsite. Staff was amazing and friendly.

Beautiful spot on the water. A little dated but hospitality and cleanliness were on point. It is a 3 star hotel in my view. The staff was really friendly. First impression is a little tired, but after a couple days it grows on you. The bar and restaurant are not gourmet, but they are fun and the fish is fresh.

Staff were generally unfriendly and seemed annoyed to be working. Some were too busy on their cell phones to move from the main stairwell to the restaurant. The restaurant service and food were poor. Even the should-be staple Piña Colada was awful. Expect flies everywhere when you eat. Communication between reception and amenities (e.g., dive shop) are terrible. Misinformed on multiple occasions.

Tired Hotel, needs major refit & $ spent

My 2nd visit in 45 years, the hotel has a nice location, nice pool, good Marina, is fairly clean & the restaurant bar is good? Otherwise, the hotel needs major renovations. The 80 year old ambiance is falling apart, maintenance & major money needs to be spent soon or the Big Game Club will be History. A memory of the past, wifi in the rooms does not work, although my Cell phone worked. The ice machines are all broken, so walk to the Bar to fill up your ice bucket, many things are old, tired & don't work? My Balcony light, nope, Broken? No fridge in the rooms to keep your drinks cold? TV worked but fuzzy on some stations? Room Service to make my room up in the morning, forget it, might happen late afternoon, I let the front desk know twice in 1 day, to please have my room made up, it occured at 4:30 pm? The place needs a total top to bottom steam wash, then needs a total painting & repairs to the cracked & broken fixtures, trim, furniture & other details? After all i am paying $225 a night for the pleasure of this historical place, at one time a tropical Gem, but now dull & tarnished? Another thing, maybe skim the pool once a day & clean it. Get rid of the cold prison like concrete floors in the guest rooms, cover them with a light wood or tiles, fake wood or whatever, concrete just doesn't do it? Best way to visit the Big Game club is in the comfort of being onboard your own yacht moored at the Marina.

We visit Bimini each year and always stay at Big Game. We don't normally have high expectations. However, we did notice a few concerning items on this particular visit. Those being structural issues with the buildings themselves. Various cracks showing exposed structural elements, lose boards over walkways, etc. We can definitely see that a remodel may be necessary and hopefully on the horizon if they wish to further compete with Hilton/Resort World. We love staying at Big Game and will continue to do so.. We just hope the building stays safe and intact!

Upon check in, we got into our room and the guests next to us were having a conversation and felt as if they were in our room. Our initial room smelled as if it had been closed up and not cleaned for a while. I went down to the desk and they moved us, a few hours later bc it was being cleaned. The 2nd room was better but still far from comforting. At least it smelled clean. Felt better about the room but then... the safe did not work, the phone did not work, read the resort directory and wanted to order in-room service. Back down to the down to the front desk I went. I mentioned the amenities in our room that did not work, they said \"we do not have in-room services\"??? But your directory says it does and has 3 pages of items you can order? confused. Wifi was not working 90% of our stay. Which is totally fine to check out from our devices. However, when you have children/pets/family who cannot get ahold of you, they tend to get a bit worried when you leave the country and don't respond for 3 days. Back to the room: moldy shower curtains, musty smell, no fridge, non-working safe, non-working phone, non-working wifi, morning of departure there was no running water to take a shower or brush teeth, make sure to pull your door fully shut and push to make sure its secures. Resort: pool table was in poor shape, lots of random people hanging out by the pool and first priority in restaurant, very outdated overall! Positives: food was delicious, most staff nice.

If you are going to visit Bimini, I would say this is the best option. Unpretentious with a nice bar and grill and cool shark viewing in the harbor. Convenience store is affordable and handy.
