We came to Korea to visit a friend and explore with her. We picked the Kensington as suggested by our friend. We love the camping vibe of this hotel. We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite. Note , it is very sparsely decorated inside. There was a third bedroom with no furnishings. Each guest room had a bbq outside to grill. The bathroom, I must say took me a bit to get used to, it was big, but after I showered, the whole bathroom was wet. This hotel is for nature lovers and family. It has trials to hike, farm animals to visit and an overall woodsy feel. We also booked an excellent breakfast and I loved the rice noodle soup. I wish we had more time here, we would love to come back to this retreat for rest and relaxation. Thank you for the experience

객실이 너무 깨끗하게 유지된 상태여서 숙박하는 내내 정말 만족스러운 여행이 되었습니다. 특히 저는 팻 전용 숙박공간에 머물렀는데 이곳 역시 반려견을 위한 용품과 팻파크 등이 잘 구비되어 있어 인상적이었습니다. 아침 산책하면서 뒤로 보이는 경치가 진짜 객실이름처럼 스위스에 머무는 느낌이 들어 이또한 감동이었습니다.

조식이 정말 좋았습니다. 속초 지역의 특산물인 황태 요리에 전복죽, 미역국 등 흠잡을때 없는 훌륭한 한식에 빵 맛도 근래 호텔 조식 중 최고라고 하고 싶네요. 오믈렛, 프렌치 토스트,쌀국수 등 직접 조리해주시는 음식도 좋았습니다. 10명의 대가족 모두가 매우 만족해했습니다. 객실도 너무 좋아서 매우 만족이었습니다.

가족들이 간만에 모여 휴식하기 최고로 좋은 장소

서울에서 속초까지는 2시간정도 걸렸습니다. 가까운 거리에 있지만 굉장히 멀게만 느껴졌던 속초였네요.
우리가 머문 장소는 켄싱턴 설악밸리 루체른 독채 숙소였습니다.
방은 3개로 구성되어있고, 화장실은 2개, 넓은 주방에 거실창을 나가면 바로 정원과 이어지는 프라이빗한 정원뷰가 펼쳐졌습니다.
총 8인이 이용하였으며, 별도의 침구류와 수건을 추가로 요청하였으며 비용도 저렴하였습니다.
루체른 등급에서도 프라이빗 방향은 차도를 등지고 있기에 나름 거실을 나가면 숲으로 이어집니다.
체크인시 웰컴하우스를 이용하는데, 그곳에 있던 디너뷔페는 최상의 음식컨디션으로 매우 만족스럽게 이용하였습니다. 하나하나 메뉴에는 정성이 느껴졌습니다.
나중에는 휴식을 길게 가져 리조트의 전체시설을 경험하고 싶네요.

스위스산장에 다녀온 느낌이에요. 독채형 숙소에 울산바위와 파란하늘, 잘 관리된 예쁜 조경들이 잘 어우러져 그림속으로 들어온 느낌이었어요. 우리가 도착했을때 마침 태어난 토끼가 너무 예뻐서 하루에 2번씩 토끼를 보러갔네요. 사슴 양도 너무 예쁘고 우리안으로 들어가서 먹이를 줄수도 있어서 마치 미니사파리를 경험한 느낌이었어요. 산책로에 연결된 계곡과 트레킹코스도 만족스러웠습니다. 독채마다 전기그릴과 취사가능한 기구들이 준비되어 있고 에어컨기능좋고 침구세트들도 깨끗하고 수건요청, 자잔한 문제 해결에 빠르게 대응해주셨습니다.4계절을 느껴보고 싶은 숙소였습니다. 7명 3대 가족들이 여행을 자주 다니는데 만장일치로 최고라고 하네요.

일단 숲속에 위치되어 있고, 스위스가 떠오르는 리조트에요! 단독으로 넓직하게 지어져있는데 프라이빗하게 지낼수 있는 큰 장점이 있어요 :) 가족단위로 왔을때 아이들이 있으면 층간소음 걱정없이 지낼수 있어 좋아요!
객실도 하나같이 다 넓어서 묵는동안 너무 편하고 좋았어요. 각 객실마다 프라이빗 바베큐 파티도 가능하고, 산책하며 가다보면 사슴, 양도 실컷 볼수 있구요 가까이서 먹이도 주고 동물이 좋아하시면 너무 좋아하실것 같아요:) 저 역시 떠나지 못하고 한참을 먹이주고 놀구 왔네요! 조식도 너무 알차고 맛있었어요.. 재방문의사, 추천의사 만땅입니다!!!😊

가족여행에 최적합 숙소

2년만에 다시 찾은 켄싱턴 설악밸리. 이좋은 곳을 왜이렇게 오랜만에 왔는지. 다른 리조트와 다르게 방도 3칸이고 침대가 2개나 있어요. 테라스에서 바라보는 울산바위 뷰도 훌륭하고 그 뷰를 바라보며 고기구워먹으니 가족들 기분이 최고였습니다~ 산책하면서 아이들은 양먹이 오리먹이도 주고 해먹에서도 쉬고 힐링 그자체. 아침에 조식도 먹었는데 맛도 좋고 뷰도 너무 좋아서 이번 연휴 최고의 선택이었습니다. 다음번 연휴에도 다시 오기를 기약하며 가족들 모두 만족했던 숙소에요!

침대주변 및 스탠드주변에 먼지가 2-3주는 되었는것
같은 느낌.정도가 쌓여 있음.

다시 가고픈 곳

쇼파 밑에 곤충인지 벌레인지 한마리 발견했구요..방에 스탠드가 없어서 좀 불편했어요.
호텔을 둘러싸고 있는 자연 경관은 말할것도 없고 포토존도 많아서 좋았어요. 직원분도 친절히 사진 찍어주셨어요.
조식을 시간대별로 나눠서 자유롭게 사용하지 못해 아쉬웠어요.

켄싱턴에서 보인 설악산 울산바위의 전경이 정말 훌륭하며 리조트내부는 깔끔하며 아이들과 함께 펫파크에서도 신나게 놀았던거 같습니다. 가을진풍경이 펼피쳐지는 가을에 가족들과 함께 여행하기에 좋은 숙소입니다.

내돈내산 강추합니다

어린아이들 포함 8명 가족여행에 최적화된 숙소였어요. 무엇보다 숙소주변이 산책에 동물구경까지 가능해 체크인 후부터 체크아웃까지 켄싱턴 부지 안에서만 있는걸 오히려 추천해요ㅎㅎ 테라스 자이글도 렌트해서 지글지글 고기잘구워먹었고 잔디에서 아이들 공놀이하기도 좋았어요. 로비센터에는 편의점이 밤늦게까지 해서 급하게 상추랑 소시지도 사왔답니다!

노후된 베른 32평타입 . .숙박 후회

비가 오기는 했으나
숙소에 문을 열자마자 꿉꿉한 곰팡이 냄새와 났네요.
강하진 않지만 스멀스멀 하수구 냄새도 나구요.
에어컨 두 대 모두 곰팡이가 많아서
첫날은 잘 때 마스크를 쓰고 잤습니다.

둘째날이 되니 냄새는 줄어들었고
외부 이동할테니 숙소 변경까지는 하지말자는
가족들 의견에 참고 이틀째도 머물었습니다.

갑자기 결정한 여행이 였고
2박3일 일정이 였으나
빨리 집에 가고 싶은 여행은 처음 이었네요.

주변 경관은 한적하고 숲의 정취를 즐길 수는
있으나 숙박시설은 노후되어
여름엔 비추입니다

가족 휴양으로 속초지역 가성비 좋은 곳입니다.

설악 울산바위를 배경으로 숲속과 연결된 자연속 리조트로 가족들과 편희 쉴 수 있는곳임. 속초 주요 명소로 연결되 편리해서 위치상으로도 매우 좋음. 스태프들 모두 친절히고 훌륭한 서비스를 제공합니다. 사슴과 양들이 있어서 아이들 동반 여행으로도 훌륭합니다. 그러나 시설이 조금 오래되었고 청결상태는 그다지 좋지 않은 분은 조금 아쉽네요.

루체른.독채 너무 마음에 든다
자연에 묻혀있는 리조트여서 경치도 좋고
공기도 좋다.
눈이 많이 내린 주의 주말에 갔는데
주요 도로 제설은 잘 돼있지만
제설의 한계인지 웰컴센터 주차장
제설이 덜 돼서 주차공간이 부족했다.
루체른 방의 화장실이 있는 안방의
두개의 장에서 바깥의 냉기가 그대로
방으로 들어와 너무 추웠다.
도로 입구에서 리조트로 들어오는
1km의 길에 제설이 잘 되지 않아
드나드는 차가 눈길에 미끄러져있거나
헛바퀴 돌아 움지기이지 못하는 경우가 있었다.
겨울 풍경에 한껏 반하고 갑니다만,
제설을 더 잘해주면 좋겠습니다.

날씨가 좋은 날 다시 오고싶습니다.

위치 : 조용하게 있기에는 완벽한 위치
음식 : 저녁뷔페 이용했음. 프로모션 가격이 합리적이고 아니라면 재이용하고 싶지 않음
서비스 : 와인잔이 객실내 없어서 다시 프론트 데스크로 가지러 갔었음. 체크인 할 때 미리 알려줬으면 좋았을 듯 함

전원주택 같고 내부도 청결하고 가족하고 가기좋게 주방도 이용 가능해서 간단하게 야식먹기 좋아요

조식은 가짓수가 너무 아쉽고, 쨈도 없고 컵도없고 없는 것들이 좀 되더라고요..직원이 부족한듯 다음에 또 갈 의사 있으나 간다면 조식은 이용 안할거 같아요
