The hotel and its rooms are average not horrible at all but not one I would come back. I have found hairs on bed linen and room was very basic would be nice extra pillow. It could do with renovating the rooms I guess if the price was a little less it would match. The staff were amazing and that is all of them! All with a smile and the breakfast was ok . Thank you

Al momento di prenotare la struttura con Expedia l’ho scelta perché sembrava che fosse disponibile anche il parcheggio che, al contrario, doveva essere prenotato e pagato a parte e tutto questo l’abbiamo scoperto all’arrivo la sera molto tardi stanchi per la guida durata tutto il giorno e senza la possibilità di trovare subito un parcheggio pubblico libero nei pressi dell’albergo in quanto i posti erano già tutti occupati.

Wouldn't stay again.

A lovely friendly welcome. On arrival we were asked if we wanted to pay for breakfast, so I asked if they had options I could eat without any gluten or dairy. I was told they had plenty of options I could eat, so we paid.
The room was ok but nothing special and the bed was also just ok. Out of the 12 hotels we had stayed in on this trip, this was actually the most disappointing.
However, it was breakfast that really disappointed. There was just one lemon cake that was gluten and dairy free and that was it. A very expensive disappointment. The only apology I got was when I told the receptionist that she should have told me that was all they had. No offer of a partial refund either.
However, even without allergies, the food is pretty dire! The few oranges left in the fruit bowl looked like they had been sat there for weeks, the egg must be prepackaged as they couldn't make any fresh and tdont have much in the way of a kitchen

Great for Solo Travel, Short Stops

I had a really nice start to my trip at B&B Hotel Pescara. Centrally located, near everything you need or need to see, with huge signs on the main road, this was ideal for a nice stopover in the less tourist-friendly Abruzzo region.

Despite a brief moment of panic when only my first cancelled reservation was found, all was quickly resolved, and I got to enjoy my safe stay in a small room with a nice balcony review out towards the sea.

FYI - the elevators are on the smaller side - so one at a time, but despite having just two for a building with double digit floors, there didn't seem to be any delays!

I would stay here again, rather comfortable. I was quite easily able to catch trains and buses to meet drivers close to the mountains/national parks too and felt very safe before dawn.

The hotel is in a convenient location to the Pescara Centrale train station. The prices are fair for what is offered. The staff is nice and the hotel is pretty clean. No 24/7 reception though, it closes at 11pm.

Good location close to restaurants, cafes, shops and museum. There's ample free parking and the train station is 10 min walk. Nice and clean no frills hotel with friendly, English speaking staff. Rooms are spacious but echo so you can hear your neighbours which was annoying. Bed was comfortable.

This place is a gem

Check in is open till 11pm, I was very pleased with my room, the size and the cleanliness of it. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast they serve is perfect to start the day. Great location, not too far from the beach and the main square where it's busy at night with people shopping, drinking and eating. I would go back and recommend it .

A great value hotel, close to some excellent restaurants and the museum in Old Pescara, within walking distance to the beach, shopping and tourist resort areas. Basic furniture and no luxuries but spotlessly clean with free parking is close by. Friendly staff who spoke basic English. Ideal for a short break and we will use them again.

This is a no frills hotel right in the centre of Pescara...10 minute walk to the beach and even shorter walk to some good bars and restaurants. Great value for money. Very helpful staff and room cleanliness excellent.
If you are looking for a good value base for exploring Pescara and the local area you should consider this hotel. Only slight downside is that parking is limited around the hotel.

Hotel in decline.

I had been staying at the Hotel Duca d'Aosta for many years as it was convenient to where I needed to work. I was dismayed this year as I learned the the hotel had been sold and there were some changes that I did not care for. There was no ability to direct dial a telephone call to the US. They charge for the breakfast now which is totally inferior to the breakfast supplied for free by the prior owner. Some of the old staff who were warm and welcoming were let go or chose not to stay and others may be leaving as well. It does cost less but that is not why I chose it. It was a sad finding for me as I really will miss the old hotel.I'll be looking for a new place to stay next year.

Large, Clean Room - Good Value

Pros:

- Large room with comfortable king size bed with firm mattress(actually 2-single beds placed together)
- Room was very clean - There was some dust behind the furniture and under the bed, but nothing terrible.(I inspect with a flashlight). It has a wood tile floor instead of carpeting which I really like.
- Breakfast was 5 Euro's with eggs, ham & cheese, and pastries. One problem was the ham and cheese cold cuts were only put out once. Once they were gone, you were out of luck.
- Refrigerator in the room(BIG plus for Europe)
- Staff was friendly and helpful, but not all spoke English well
- Free WiFi, but had sluggish response
- Bathroom was large and had a stool, but not much counter space. It did have a regular shower stall with good water pressure.
- TV was small(19 inch), with many channels and good picture quality, but none in English
- Refreshing, cold tap water to drink
- There is a beautiful promenade along the beach with good quality restaurants all along
- Hotel was very reasonably priced

Cons:

- Location was OK, but had some issues: The train station is about a 15-minute walk. The main beach area is about 7 blocks down and not a bad walk if you don't mind paying, but the free access beach across the canal is at least a mile away, so be advised.

The Best Western Hotel in Pescara is just off Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle, right in the downtown area and within walking distance to the beach. The hotel is basic and clean. The staff is very helpful and got us a reservation to one of the top restaurants in town.

Great stay in the overall!

Hotel is very nice and in the heart of the city centre and I definitely recommend it!
Needs to improve a bit the breakfast service.
Also the bar does not serve alcohol but just hot and cold drinks and this seems a bit limitating in my opinion.

A nice unpretentious hotel in Pescara

We have always stayed at this hotel, as it it is ideally situated for the town centre shops and a 10 min walk to the beach. A little bit dated but functional, decent breakfast room and friendly staff. Best book rooms on a higher floor say 4fl upwards, towards the rear,facing down Via Calabria. Need a three pin adaptor, which we bought locally.

I don't usually have high hopes for a Best Western because they are terrible in the US but I have been surprised by the ones in Europe. The people were nice at this hotel but they didn't have anything we needed. . .no shuttle, no toiletries. . . I also was not a fan of being registered with the Italian \"FBI\" at check in. The location is conveniently located to the shopping district and about 10 minutes walking from the beach.

Comfortable and quiet, lovely hotel!

I loved our stay at Best Western in Pescara. The location is perfect, hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the beach (and the best coffee shop I've ever been to in Italy!), wonderful and helpful staff that was able to accommodate our requests promptly and always with a smile. The place is really quiet, but at the same time close to busy shopping streets and restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and we had everything we needed there (and upon request kind staff provides additional necessities that one may forget during travel - like toothbrush, comb - free of charge). I sincerely recommend this hotel and I will look forward to staying in that lovely place again upon my return to Pescara.

Good neighborhood. The hotel staff spoke excellent english and gave good advice for restaurants in the area. The hotel is downtown and near the main shopping center, ocean, and river. The parking lot is very small, only 4 cars can fit. My nissan had a hard time making in due to the height. If it is busy you have to make reservations for the parking. The breakfast is average. Excellent location for shopping or seeing the sights. 10 minute walk to the beach and bridge.

Fine, central & convenient

Arrived on the bus from the airport quite late at night and everything was as it should be. When I wanted to go for a late night wander, reception directed me to the best evening places - not the same as the daytime ones, so that was good. (Late night gelateria - absolutely great.) The room was clean, large and comfortable and the breakfast was magnificent.

If you want tiny little quibbles, I'd say that the room decor is slightly old-fashioned and I'd be pleased if the complimentary coffee-and-tea making facilities also included a whitener of some sort - Italians don't need it, of course.

On a practical note, for those arriving by bus (No 38 from Pescara airport) it would be useful if the hotel literature or website included such directions, too. It's a quarter mile before the central rail station (my default drop-off) and I saw the hotel sign more by luck than judgement. But perhaps I should have done more homework beforehand. All in all, excellent for the price.

Pity about the shuttle bus

We booked this hotel as it advertised a free airport shuttle bus if booked within 24 hours of travel. We duly e-mailed the hotel at least 72 hours in advance. The reply came back swiftly, that the bus was unavailable. Other than that we have no complaints, the staff were polite, multi lingual and helpful(Offering my small son a glass of milk at 5am whilst waiting for a taxi in reception). However it is a shame that the service was not available with out any real explanation, as this was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel as we had a very early morning flight from Pescara airport

Comfortable and reasonable hotel for the money

I wasn't planning on staying in Pescara for more than one night, but the earthquake in L'Aquila required me to find alternative accomodations on short notice. Best Western Hotel Duca Daosta was a very comfortable and reasonable hotel, regardless of the short notice. Having internet access was great too.

La struttura è pulitissima e ben ubicata rispetto al centro e ai luoghi di interesse.
Camera e bagno ampi e confortevoli, letto molto comodo
In camera un piccolo frigo, TV ben funzionante così come il WiFi.
In reception staff giovane e gentilissimo e molto organizzato, si possono trovare macchinette distribuenti acqua e snack, così come primi piatti da scaldare al microonde presente in reception.
La colazione a buffet dolce e salata ha il costo di €7.90 e mi è sembrata buona anche se non l' ho provata perché per i miei standard è troppo ricca!
Suggerirei anche un' opzione di colazione basic a prezzi più contenuti e composta da caffè/cappuccino + cornetto/torta
Sono stata benissimo e ci tornerei volentieri se dovessi ritornare a Pescara

Es un hotel de cadena, prolijo. El mobiliario sencillo y funcional, el tamaño de la habitación aceptable. Está un poco alejado, algo que consideramos. Hay buenos lugares para comer cerca. Tiene desayuno buffet, pero elegimos desayunar en otro lugar. Pasamos solo una noche de paso y nos resultó muy conveniente.

Posizione strategica vicino al mare, stazione, centro, Pescara vecchia.
Personale in reception efficiente e cortese, sia al checkin (non ricordo il nome della ragazza purtroppo) che al checkout (Ylenia di una cortesia estremamente naturale e non forzata, da prendere ad esempio nella relazione con la clientela).
