The Hotel is centrally located & the views from the roof are amazing.
The staff is very helpful and friendly despite me not being able to speak Italian. I wish I was there during warmer weather and got to enjoy the views from the roof garden. The indoor garden looked like a place they host events such as a wedding.
The products in the bathroom are top notch, plus robes & extra towels are much appreciated. My only wish was an outdoor window, but I understand it was an older building. I really appreciated the parking garage to park the car and just walk around the city.
As a solo woman traveler, I feel very safe in this friendly city.

The carpet in the hallway on the floor where my room was located is quite worn and dirty. The shower in the bathroom is very small, making it uncomfortable to use, and it was loose from the wall. The price of the breakfast seemed very expensive to me, 18 euros for what they serve.

This was a pit stop from Rome to the coast. So glad they had secured parking. Walkable area to town and worth the stop for the history in the area. Good restaurant selections. Room average, but nice and clean.

Just steps from the great Arch of Trajan, this is a convenient hotel with nice rooms and excellent staff. There is a very good traditional restaurant close by. And a hotel parking garage. It was perfect for us. Benevento was really worth the stop.

Over all nice property. Close to shopping, restaurants and grocery store. Showers were very small. Hard to get in an out. Paint was peeling on the ceiling and walls in several places. The phone had to be replaced three times until one worked. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. They never fixed the broken safe even after us asking them repeatedly so we had to carry our valuables with us.

The shower had hairs from a previous guest and needed to have the mold cleaned from the grout. The carpets in the hallways were stained with a bleach like substance. I’m all it was more like a 3 or 2 star hotel

Another good visit however needs some freshening

This was my second time at this property. Both times were very enjoyable, Benevento is a beautiful city about 2 hours from Napoli and absolutely worth a visit. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful although the waitress at breakfast service could use more help or more energy. I always find the price of this hotel to be a great value given the location and amenities. My only complaint or suggestion is that the hotel could use some freshening up and maintenance. The carpets have stains in the hallway and the shower in my room was in desperate need of new grout and paint. The paint in the shower was peeling off the walls.

Howe've car parking was a big issue .. It was left on the main street.
This is contrary to Hotel.com description.

Nicely decorated; elegant feeling public areas. Was there in late fall with wind and rain---but I bet the gardens are beautiful in summer, perfect for weddings.

Wish there had been a restaurant (they only served breakfast, although the buffet was lavish).

Had terrible trouble finding it (drove around for three hours with the GPS useless) but they say they are going to communicate more completely to future guests.

We have stayed at this hotel previously, about a year earlier. Then had good experience Hotel front desk staff nice and courteous. Checked in about 5:30 PM for this business related visit. Our room was placed where street traffic is heavy. Profile and request during the reservation clearly indicate quiet room. Asked front desk if possible to relocate. Front desk told us they are booked for the night. Later, a tour bus pulled in with about 55 guests, for the evening. Noisy crowd, floors above us moved furniture in addition to street traffic noise. Breakfast not much left for us and few other guests who came to breakfast about 8:30 AM. Tour bus guests had consumed all cut fresh fruits and most of the different styles of bread customary in European breakfast. Breakfast staff told us only croissants, coffee, water, and some fruit (orange for example, not peeled, not cut and not sliced). No hash browns and no potatoes for example. Hotel should have been prepared for the occasion as they likely host tour busses and are aware, or set aside some quiet rooms and some food for guests paying higer price (compared to tour bus negoiated rate). Disappointed.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful! It was a very short walk to the main piazza, which was important to us since we didn't have a car. The hotel staff was very helpful in recommending a restaurant for dinner and for arranging a driver for us to visit a nearby town. We were surprised that we had to pay 15 Euros each for breakfast. All the other hotels we stayed in had breakfast included in the cost.

I loved this hotel,it was extremely clean and comfortable.
Miriam the receptionist was lovely and very helpful.She organised a taxi that met us at our train.She also recommended a restaurant that is called \"Nunzias\" because they make traditional local food that is made with a lot of flavour and love.This restaurant has been in the same family since 1929 and anybody that visits Benevento should put it as their top thing to do.

Very nice hotel once you have mastered the funny road system to get there. Ideal for a one night stop as we were. Breakfast was a little disappointing for the standard of the hotel. Only a short distance to walk to the various tourist sites of Benevento.

This hotel is not easy to find when arriving by car so print off maps from the web before you go.
That said; it is modern, clean, well located and very safe.
The staff could not have been better and they spoke excellent English.
The breakfast was included and fine.
The surrounding area has all amenities you might need.
The train station is within walking distance.
There are at least two very nice places to eat an easy walk from the hotel.
[see the Slow Food Guide for details] Both were reasonable.
In summary, this hotel is not inexpensive but within the norm for the city. If it falls within your price range, you will find it an excellent place to use as a base to see the area. [for instance Vesuvius is only about 30 minutes away on the A16 and the city itself has much to see. A full day on foot required to see it all]

Medelklass hotell som låtsas vara lyxigt

Presentationen och informationen om rummen stämmer inte alls med känslan när man kommer dit. Hotellet verkar endast halvfullt ändå bodde vi i källaren. Vi fick först ett rum med två långa trånga trappor. När vi bad om att få byta, tvingades vi betala mer och fick då ändå bo i källaren, två olika hissar ned!!! Otrevlig känsla, på ett hotell vi hade förväntat oss skulle bli ett avkopplande lyxigt dygn.
