Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual continental style and plenty of sweet pastries and fruit bowls too. Breakfast coffee was a let down, not great.
You can book the hot tub, steam room and sauna for private use which is recommended. We booked a full body massage also through reception which you pay them in cash (Argentinan Pesos). They brought in an outside masseue, Esteban who was amazing and highly recommended after a lot of treking Patagonia!
Check out a couple of great steak houses on the next street. La Lucia for something a bit fancier and HUGE steaks and Estancia la Florencia just up the street more informal but just as good and cheaper.

I had a very pleasant stay at Villaggio Boutique Hotel. My room was large with a comfortable sitting area and a very comfy king bed. Despite being centrally located, it was wonderfully quiet. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to some of the best restaurants and pastry shops in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good selection. Room amenities were very nice, and the minibar with fridge was a convenient touch.
A couple of things to note: the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, and there is no lounge on the premises—though plenty of great options are just a short walk away.
My only real complaint: upon my arrival in Mendoza, I asked the hotel to arrange airport transportation. While someone was there to pick me up, I was charged triple the average Uber rate. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! This was extremely disappointing and not in line with the otherwise positive experience at the hotel.
A couple of things to note: the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, and there is no lounge on the premises—though plenty of great options are just a short walk away.

This boutique hotel delivers more than a boutique experience. It was our base of operations for five days in Mendoza as we explored a number of wineries in the region and it was a wonderful place to come home to each day. Clean. Comfortable. Well appointed (sauna and a pool…the hot tub was closed for the off season). Great neighborhood (steps away from restaurants, cafes, shopping, a number of gorgeous plazas…wow. Parking (self-park offsite just a half-block away). A great little breakfast restaurant (included) to start every day. And most importantly, GREAT people and service. Emilia, Augustine, Daniel and Marco went out of their way making us feel special, whether it was facilitating our stay and visit, exchanging currency, getting my husband hot water for coffee at 5 AM or doing a quick fix when I accidentally locked us out of our room’s safe, they were with us every step of the way and ready with a quick greeting or longer, warm conversation. You simply can’t ask for more. Thank you Villaggio. We will be back.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only thing we had an issue with was the shower. It would change from scolding hot to freezing cold. It was almost impossible to take a shower. Everything else here was perfect.

The hotel was in a great location and the lady on the front desk was very personable and friendly. However, after this completely shambolic - water damage due to broken jacuzzi above my room, they didn’t seem to care, gave me a cheap bottle of wine the day before checking out so not practical and the ceiling looked as though it was going to let water in, the noise was so loud with it on as was next door who had screaming matches at 7 am, walls are too thin. Incredibly dated, safe didn’t work and spent hours trying to sort but lack of communication meant I felt it was my fault, but the instructions weren’t correct and it had an override to any code, I understand they want to save energy but no fresh towels in 4 days, no minibar price list or QR and the WiFi didn’t work for 3 days in my room. With no English channels, noise from next door and upstairs jacuzzi I couldn’t do any work and wandered the streets instead. Considering this was the upgraded room, this is a really bad hotel

A very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you! The only complain we have is the bad soundproofing. We got a huge room, everything was very nice! But we heard very loud voices from the room next to us. No cars, no elevator, everything was really fine..!. But bring earplugs with you. In case you have loud neighbours. Not everyone is well behaved?!...we also loved the breakfast. (You get an excellent fruit salad there!! )

We took the 45 minute city bus tour to scope out Mendoza. We realized Villaggio is within a one mile walk to most sights in all different directions. It is centrally located to parks and restaurants and quite safe.

The front desk staff were friendly and responsive. I had some issues with the room I received and the next day a special thanks to Jonathan who quickly resolved all issues by changing my room and gave me an upgrade. They also allowed me a late check out thanks to the VIP amenity. This property was close to everything, good location to restaurants and parks.

Great Hotel with airport pickup. Staff was great! And they allowed a late checkout with the Hotels.com vip rating! Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Felt very safe here. Tour companies pick up from hotel too. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great too.

We had a very nice experience at this hotel it’s centrally located in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast is good personnel very nice and helpful the rooms are very clean and comfortable my only complaint is the shower head with some rust and a little bit of mold around the bathtub other than that I recommend this place.

This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Mendoza. Our first unit had a door that did not lock, so we were moved to another. We were very pleased with the front desk staff (very helpful, good English), less so with the cleaning staff (didn’t replace towels / soap / toilet paper). The breakfast was great with lots of choices, although the coffee could have been better. We usually went out after eating to get a good cup of espresso elsewhere.

We asked to borrow an iron. The cord on the iron was frayed and dangerous.
No ironing board was provided, so we used a desktop in the room. The desktop had a plug adjacent to it, so it made it quite convenient to iron on.
We covered it with a towel and did the ironing. The heat of the iron cracked the glass on top of the desktop, because it wasn't heat proof.
We were charged for the glass, in spite of the fact that there was no instruction as to how to perform the ironing. 1500COP$ were taken from our credit card without our permission
Also we were charged 2000COP$ for a rather small amount of laundry. We had previously, in Argentina, been charged no more than 800COP$ for laundry.
The manager, Senor Rosenthal is ignorant and unreasonable to deal with.
