This is a unique property that we had the pleasure of staying at during our visit to Spain. It is in a remote area, in an ancient building, surrounded by a quaint village. Very beautiful inside and out. Excellent food in the dining room both at dinner and breakfast. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable.

Monasterio de Corias a wonderful hotel.

I brought a group of friends to the Monasterio hotel as I had visited there 3 years ago. We were not disappointed. It is a fabulous hotel with a wealth of interesting features. The quality of the service is very high. My friends were pleased immensely with their stay in this wonderful venue.

A Fantastic Stay in a Former Monastery

Incredible service from arrival with all the welcome information for your stay prepared and printed in your language.
The building is a former monastery and very spacious with its own unique history. Many parts of the hotel display links to that history including underground archeology now incorporated as a museum next to the underground car park, a very interesting encounter.
Free parking both outside and within the secure basement car park.

Unique Stay!

Such an amazing, unique spot to stay at. The hotel was quiet and clean. They've preserved its history, which you can enjoy in the hallways, gardens, and museum. The restaurant had some of the most delicious food we encountered on our 9-day trip throughout Spain, and it was authentic to the area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nicely updated property. Clean and comfortable. Customer service was great. Lots of photo ops within the hotel and great history.
Given the quality of the hotel I was surprised with the bar. Very limited selection. Not the one to order a martini.
We had a bad experience at the breakfast restaurant and could not eat. Ordered eggs Benedict and had to be returned. Order scrambled eggs and 35 mins later neither had arrived. Service was apologetic and comped the rest of it.
Wine tasting next door is “meh”
The monastery turned hotel is located close to a small town but in a very picturesque area.

Excellent hotel and difficult to fault the only reason for not being so eco friendly was a personal thing about individual coffee pods in the machines in the restaurant for breakfast very wasteful when a small pot of coffee would more than suffice. Yes this is a luxury hotel but no need to be so wasteful

El edificio es espectacular, casi como un museo. La biblioteca y los jardines son preciosos. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas, y el personal, siempre amable. Las comidas y cenas a la carta son excelentes y el desayuno está muy bien, aunque algo por debajo. En general, una estancia fantástica en un entorno único.

Espectacular

De los mejores paradores que he visto. Han actualizado con muy buen gusto todo el monasterio, las habitaciones y el baño enormes y cómodos. Las recepcionistas encantadoras (especialmente una que se llamaba Bea, a pesar de que hicimos el check-in a medianoche). Merece la pena dar una vuelta para ver los salones y los claustros, son preciosos.

Todo perfecto, únicamente (y por poner algún pero) cuidado al entrar y salir de la bañera, sobre todo para la gente mayor.
A mi mujer no le gustó la ubicación del espejo, no dejaba verse bien de cuerpo entero.
Reitero que es por poner algún aspecto que se podría mejorar.
El Parador es de 10, el personal de 11 y el entorno fantástico.

La restauración del Monasterio muy lograda.Un10 para la conservación de los restos arqueológicos y para el museo. Medidas anti-Covid y limpieza perfectas. Habitación standard sin lujos pero muy cómoda y espaciosa. El precio de la habitación , es elevados y se echa en falta\"tea&coffe facilities\" y unas amenities más completas y de mayor calidad.
