Nice hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very spacious, I would equate it to a 1 bedroom suit in an American/Canadian hotel but semi open concept (bachelor suite if you will) and beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have hot water and the showers are walkin. There is a small elevator but I wouldn’t say it’s fully wheelchair accessible- it was fine with a stroller but the rooms where the beds are and the doorway to the bathroom was tight so be warned.
The breakfast was a buffet and had a little bit of everything to please everyone. Delicious juice, milk and cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, plantains, refried beans, cheese quesadillas, sautéed veggies, a chicken in sauce, and salsa. Real dishes and linen napkins on the tables. Coffee is served table side.
Pool is nice and grounds are very well maintained.
The only down side was it was a bit loud and echo-y. But that’s also part of being concrete buildings.
I would recommend this hotel and will consider staying in the future because of all the positives.

I reserve a swuit with queen bed i get a single bed i whent and ask receptionist where is my queen bed she said that is the one I say no is not she say they are full so i say for this nigth is ok but tomorrow you moved me to one with queen bed then she put me in one with tow sigle beds and refrigerator broken a/c noisily you want to sleep you have to turn a/c off or plug you ears pool was dirty so iask why i did not get what i reserve and she say couse expedia sells thing that they don't have.so i stay trying not to ruined my vacations not recomend at least is just to sleep and be out of hotel all day

It is a gem hidden in the a very busy area.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and ready to help you with any enquires you have. The complementary breakfast was of the highest quality and variety. The only downfall is the outside noise as it is loacated next to the Juan Pablo Segundo but besides that we can't fault the place.

Although Gardenia (previously Comfort Inn) has been in business for a couple of decades, the hotel appears that it was opened yesterday. It looks like a brand new hotel. This was a typical Central American lodging non-international chain. The price was acceptable but you get what you pay for! The room was rated as King bed but at best, only Queen bed. The hot water got worse each day we stayed. The breakfast selection was poor and the “hot” items were either lukewarm or cold … but at least it was free! The bed WAS comfortable and the AC worked well. The hotel did not have a restaurant and the only food nearby was a Burger King up the street or a Texaco gas station across the street.

Everything was excellent until the day before I left, after cleaning lady Anita cleaned my room one pair of sandals and another sandal were missing. The next morning before I left I asked Anita to search underneath the bed with the broom and she said she would do it but she never did. I looked underneath the bed and there was nothing there.
I found the pair of sandals wrapped in a blanket on the upper shelve of the closet. I couldn’t find the other missing sandal.
