Simple hotel, very comfortable beds, simple breakfast not up to large chain hotels, but Ok for a simple breakfast.
No front staff at reception in the mornings, so if you need a receipt of stay you have to get it the night before.
No evening meals either.
But rooms were good, although, the bathroom, could do with an update, albeit still functional.

I have stayed in this property before and like the area. You are in a nice residential neighborhood with a short walk to the lake and path, 45 min. roundtrip. Very relaxing. The food is the standard Scandinavian breakfast. There are a few options for lunch and dinner within walking distance but the other options are in Kristinehamn 5-11 minutes away. The room had a small refrigerator so one could buy food at ICA Maxi like a bread roll and deli-meat, roasted chicken…etc. The restaurant scene is not that vibrant, mostly pizza/kebab restaurants. Like many smaller hotels in Sweden reception hours are short and service is not available during most hours. Especially if you travel off season like me; late April through May where I was one of 5 guest at this hotel during my stay. Recommend you do not show up earlier that the 3 pm checkin time as now one is there. I got there at 2 pm and took a nice walk by the shore and returned at 3 pm for checkin. Also I had one hotel on this trip that had a no checkin beyond 7 pm policy. My reason for coming to this area is my family’s grave at Kristinehamns Nya Kyrkogård about 6 minutes by car from this hotel.

Was super easy to check in at 1am (should have been midnight but that’s a whole other story). If you have a late check in make sure you email in advance to them.

A Hidden Gem!
Don't be fooled but the exterior of the building . . . once a small hospital, owners have re-shaped it into an excellent, quaint hotel that provides an excellent personal touch to its guests. Rooms are quite acceptable and super clean and located just outside the downtown centrum. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. I got what I paid for, and quite a bit more. The hotel is not staffed around the clock, but that wasn't a problem.

Enkelt hotell. Personalen i receptionen sa inte hej. Våningssängarna hade metallrör som kändes genom de tunna madrasserna. Positivt med möjlighet att vara fler än fyra i ett rum.

Rask og smidig overnatting. Fikk melding med kode til dør da vi ankom etter at resepsjonen var stengt. Nøkkel nå klar. Supert rom og helt ok frokost!

Otroligt lyhört från korridoren. Dörren saknar både tröskel och tätning, så glipan på 1 cm i nederkant tar in allt ljud. Madrasserna i våningssängen är lövtunna, man känner stålfjädrarna i ryggen. Badrummet har plastmatta på både väggar och golv. Rent, men med mögel i hörnen. Toalettstolen står och rinner och fyller på med ett ljudligt \"pfffffffssss\" var 30:e sekund (jag stängde till sist av vattnet).
Frukosten bestod av limpbröd och några pålägg.
På plussidan är ett naturnära läge med fina möjligheter att promenera längs med vattnet. Fint också att det finns destinationsladdare för Tesla (100 kr/laddning).

Står at det er parkering, men vi kom etter kl 20.00 og det var ingen ledige plasser. Parkering på hotell er avgjørende for valg av hotell for vår del.

Enkelt hotel men har inte det där lilla extra.
Enkelt hotel. Rummen var det inget fel på. Det som man hade önskat var lite större frukost då den var väldigt enkelt. Minus på servicen var när vi kommer tillbaka till hotellet efter ha varit ute hela dagen så var rummet inte städat. Frågade i receptionen om det inte städas varje dag och det skulle ha varit städat enligt personalen. Fick det städat senare på kvällen.

Det enda negativa var att vi bokat Deluxrum som skulle ha balkong. Tur att det regnade för den var pytteliten och omöblerad vilket inte framgick av informationen!
