For sure not a 4 stars hotel. Confused and unprofessional staff and promised services not available for the most. Restaurant inside hotel very poor, breakfast good for a two stars hotels. Air conditioning impossible to stop from the room. Baby club only few hours for day and very questionable.

Nice hotel, it was probably outstanding in the 1980s, the problem is that it has never been remodeled. It has some sort of vintage atmosphere which could be appreciated. Spacious rooms, good location.

One of the worse hotel rooms we have ever booked. Bunked in a semi underground area, with outdated, poorly functioning furniture, an old bathroom with rusty fixtures, and very odd decor. I guess when we booked we saw pictures of different rooms which looked new and stylish but we got one of the scrap ones. Very disappointing!!

The rooms were horrible and the beds like a rock.
Very few staff spoke English
The bar staff was great but the place needs to hire more staff you can’t blame them when your food takes a hour to come out.
The dining room staff attitudes were not great everyone had a attitude I think they are not used to Americans.
Would not stay there again nor recommend it to Americans. The Con Eric’s was nasty and the front dedk staff needs to go back to school for manners.

The hotel staff and the amenities were amazing.

The staff and the amenities were above and beyond amazing. The room itself was not. The bed was like sleeping on the floor and the sheets were a little itchy. However, the fact that everything else outside of the hotel room was fantastic completely negates the lackluster room.

Nice hotel - Very unhelpful Reception Staff

Nice hotel with an outstanding breakfast bufftet. Clean, satisfactory rooms. Friendly helpful waiters. Restaurant choice/availability is poor and over-priced unless you have Full Board. Beach restaurant however is great and reasonably priced with very nice staff. Major minus of this hotel was the unhelpful, discorteous nature of the reception staff. They were unwilling to help and at times simply rude. Their lack of assistance to us during our stay spoiled an otherwise great stay here.

Esperienza molto deludente per la tariffa pagata.
Struttura vecchia, stanza fredda scura e malodorante, piscina abbandonata a se stessa. Poltrone esterne rovinate rimaste agli anni 70. Le foto non rispecchiano la realtà. Palestra con attrezzi vecchi e cigolanti e con soffitto basso. La SPA inesistente. Solo la spiaggia carina.
Sconsiglio fortemente.

Umoderne men med bra beliggenhet

Hotellet holder ikke hva det lover på sine hjemmesider, det er lenge siden dette hotellet var moderne og fresht, særlig hva gjelder soverommene og uteområdet. Her trengs betydelig oppgradering både innendørs og utendørs. Restaurant var relativt bra men noe treg service. Beste med hotellet var fine strandsenger ved Beach club’en, samt utrolig høflig og god service fra Michael i resepsjonen.

La struttura si presenta al meglio, curata nei dettagli, probabilmente meriterebbe una stella in più. Il personale è stato accogliente, preparato, disponibile, ci ha agevolato per una splendida cena sul mare in location super a poca distanza. Sicuramente da tornare!

La struttura è bella e curata, anche se non è nuova. Anche la Spa è molto bella. Le camere sonno belle, anche se alcune non hanno una bella vista. Unica pecca il Ristorante, caro rispetto al servizio e ai piatti offerti.

Splendida struttura, dotata di tutti i comfort, a breve distanza dal mare, con stabilimento privato, attrezzato anche con bar e ristorante.
Posto tranquillo, ottima cucina, piscina ben inserita nel complesso e completa di tutti i servizi, attivitá di intrattenimento per adulti e bambini e personale gentilissimo, sempre a disposizione.
Peccato per la SPA, inagibile causa Covid.

A tail of two stories

Is a tale of two stories. Beach, Restaurant, Pool, everything on the front is as supposed for 4 stars hotel. Room, especially the room management is the other side of the story. Broken or not working things scatter everywhere - poor management of personal cleaning and maintaining the room. They come and barge in the room at odd times plus even when they are made aware of the fact you are 3 persons in a 3-5 occupancy room they prepare it each day for 2 only. Another issue is the shuttle between the hotel and the beach. It is supposed to show timely with a pause at noon. We ended up in 10 days 3 days waiting it both ways 30 minutes = 1 hour waiting time per day - annoying.

vacanza di sport e relax immersi nella natura.

il mio giudizzio non è stato totalmente positivo solo per due motivi,
il primo è, il non funzionamento della piscina idromassaggi nella spa per tutti i 7 giorni della mia permanenza.
il secondo è stato la struttura e gli arredi un pò troppo datati dei nostri alloggi, ma in complesso
tutti i restanti aspetti del soggiorno sono stati di buon livello.

Struttura molto chic ma un po' datata in realtà. Il personale non sempre molto professionale per essere un 4 stelle. Nelle camere si dovrebbe un po' rimodernare l'arredamento. Ristorazione buona.
Spiaggia un po' lontana ma con servizio navetta gratuito fino alle 19.

L'hotel si trova in una bella zona immerse nel verde e vicino ad una bella spiaggia.
I servizi dell'hotel sono di buon livello, in particolare modo la SPA.
Le camera sono molto spaziose e ben accessoriate, anche se alcuni particolari dell'arredo sono un po' datati.

Vacanza a Punta Ala con la famiglia

Esperienza positiva. Hotel dagli interni molto belli nonostante l'aspetto esterno non entusiasmante. Personale molto giovane e gentile, disponibile ad accogliere richieste non standard. Buona la qualità del cibo (colazione e cena). Il servizio di navetta che collega l'hotel con la spiaggia efficiente. Menzione particolare al personale che propone escursioni e gite, che si è dimostrato capace di capire al volo le esigenze della mia famiglia assicurandosi anche del buon esito delle stesse. Il personale della spiaggia invece dava l'impressione di essere piuttosto disorganizzato e stressato. Valutazione complessiva positiva.

Nn c'e bisogno nemmeno di troppe parole x descrivere questo posto incantevole! Ci sono tutti i comfort che si possa desiderare, personale gentilissimo. La spiaggia si può anche raggiungere a piedi in 5 min ma x i più pigri c'e la navetta che ti lascia proprio li davanti al bagno golf beach! Colazione super io praticamente ci pranzavo!! Consigliatissimo x tutti

Hotel all'altezza delle sue 4 stelle.

Conoscevo già l'hotel in questione per esserci andato negli anni precedenti. Si trova all'interno di una grande pineta con giardini ben curati ed ampi spazi e con annesso un parcheggio all'aperto che facilita gli spostamenti durante il soggiorno. Mantiene negli anni l'ottima qualità dei suoi servizi a partire dalla prima colazione tipo breakfast, ottima davvero per qualità e varietà degli alimenti offerti. Ottima la disponibilità e la gentilezza del personale, ottimo il livello di pulizia della camera ed ottimo il livello di pulizia nel ristorante, nella piscina e nella spa. Una navetta fa di continuo servizio di trasporto dei clienti alla vicina spiaggia privata che dista appena un paio o tre di minuti dall'hotel. Anche la spiaggia nel suo complesso è ottima per i servizi offerti a partire dai bagni, alle docce, al bar-ristorante. Il prezzo dell'hotel nel mese di luglio è un po' caro ma ne vale la pena considerato il tutto incluso.

Keeping up appearance

Golf Hotel Punta Ala is a nicely located hotel. Pool area is ok and the hotel’s beach area is reasonable. There is better beach clubs in the area at a fee.
This hotel is old and except for the lobby/reception it needs a refurbishment. Rooms are much worn and have seen better days. No Wi-Fi in the rooms.
WIFI is indeed present in the lobby and the pool area, but first of all is it difficult to access the network and second is it very slow. The cabled network in the room is not better.
Breakfast is probably the good thing at the hotel. Good buffet nicely located at the pool side. Dinner restaurant is expensive compared to quality. Might be because it is planned for half or full board.
Service is rather slow and you will have to visits the reception more times to get a problem fixed.
Be aware that the Hotel is using photos from other hotels in the chain to present Punta Ala Golf Hotel.
Conclusion: Golf hotel Punta Ala is located in a nice and quiet area. Trying to keep up appearance, but is truly overpriced.

Rent och fräscht och nära till en vacker strand. Tyvärr är dock hotellet helt själlöst, det finns inget lite "extra" utan allt är bara platt och tråkigt. Ät inte i restaurangen - Det är helt fruktansvärd mat och de vill bara att man beställer deras dyra och dåliga buffé.

hotel buono ma un po' datato

soggirono purtroppo breve ma fortunatamente ottimo. L'hotel è ben situato nella pineta e con spiaggia raggiungibile anche con una breve passeggiata a piedi. Sfortunatamente è mancante una pista ciclabile o pedonale per raggiungere la spiaggia, il che rende poco piacevole e pericoloso la passeggiata. Esiste comunque un ottimo servizio di navetta dell'hotel.

Torno abbastanza spesso e molto volentieri in questo bellissimo hotel, elegante e confortevole. Non riesco a trovare punti deboli. L'ultimo soggiorno, all'inizio della stagione balneare, e' stato straordinario per la motivazione del personale e l'impeccabile stato delle strutture. Tornero' appena possibile.
