Not my favourite hotel in China

Arrived at the hotel close to mid night due to flight delays. Unlike other hotels, the entire hotel was in complete darkness, except the reception counters. Not the best first impression.

The AC in the room seems to be centrally controlled and the temperature wasn’t able to be adjusted. The hotel sent a portable AC to my room on the 2nd night, but I ended up sleeping with the windows opened in the end.

There’s a nice bath tub in the room. The water pressure of the hot water outlet was very low in both the shower n the tub, until I called the hotel to service them in the 4th night.

99% Recommend to u guys

Check-in process was fast and great. They provide us 2 cans of soda water. The location was nice and close to Baijiahu Lake, just a 10-min walk could get to entertainment place like Kingmo and 1912 bars area. You can get everything but tissue from your room. It might be the only thing that make this trip imperfect.

Busy time but great..

Overall it was a great stay for the holiday . So many people but the staff went out of their way to help us. We have lived in China for 4 years so understood the holiday but if you were a traveller for the first time you would of hated it. Ammenities were fine staff helpful.. Food was great even though you might of missed somthing at the smorgasbord due to the hoards .. As many of the reviews have said the hotel is away from the sights but away from the tourist area. Taxis are not expensive and the subway is really close. you can get a Starbucks coffee if you want .. The tourist thing to say...if you plan on going to the Nanjing mascre memorial museum GET THERE early....

Luxury hotel, farther from the crowds

Luxury hotel with on par experience. Most likely would have been 4-5 times more expensive in a big city from the western world. It is however, far from the city attractions (about 45 minutes by subway). Would recommend taxis.

Great oprion if you need to be south of the city

I stayed here because I had a meeting in one of the industrial parks south of the city. This place was clean, nice and clearly new. Breakfast was excellent. There are a lot of foreigners from the companies that have factories in the industrial parks in the hotel but this is not an industrial neighborhood. It should be close to the metro but I think the local station is not yet open. Good value for the money.

if you go to nanjing, stay here

a seven-minute walk from the Shentayau metro, the hotel makes virtulally all the city's worthwhile sites accessible. there is no need to take a cab from the airport, as the S1 from there, with a change at the last station and a transfer to the number 1 line gets you to shentayau. while there is a 440 -meter walk at the terminus of the airport train, there is an escalator at the shentayau station which will zip you up the 94 stairs. from the exit (only one), turn right, walk one long block, turn left , and go another 170 meters. on the way you will pass a shopping mall, as well as many other shops. rooms are spacious with all amenities. concierge fox (yes, fox) speaks english, and can give info on directions to all major sites. if i'd ever return, i'd stay here.

stay at american hotel with english speaking satff

i was surprised that i could not find a single person at BAR counter or in restraraunt who can speak in english , no one new a what is the meaning of chips , wafer , cold ice , toast . grill - very frustrated about how to order food , one of the main reason for me to select foreign hotel chain is find some one can speak in english .
also disappointed no english channel for tourist .
next time i have think twice before decide to stay again or not.

Nowhere near 5 star - terrible service.

Booked club room only to be told at check-in that it was not open due to Chinese New Year. Never stated this when booking and taking our money for a “better” room. We were given tokens for buffet dinner which was not used as the food (what there was left) was inedible. Breakfast was mediocre. On the last night, at the invitation of management we dined in the restaurant from the a la carte menu and were pleasantly surprised. However, I’m sure this was down to the fact that we had raised complaint and the staff were more focused. Shouldn’t have to complain to receive 5* service in a 5* hotel. 2 drinks tokens also given to last 3 days!! Service is terrible – asked for an ice bucket in the lobby lounge to be told if she gave us ice then there would be none for anyone else. 5 star hotel with no ice, now there’s a 1st! Drinks take 20 – 30 minutes to arrive and even then you are still waiting on something. Certainly would not classify this as a 5* hotel – need to work on your service! Still waiting on the refund that we were told we would receive from the Duty Manager!! Certainly will never be returning!

I really like the Crowne Plaza hotels. I was lucky to get an upgrade to the club floor but the entire hotel is well-maintained and appears to provide great service. That is consistent with each stay at a Crowne Plaza hotel in China.

Very Good Hotel

Other than location is a little less perfect, the hotel it self is great. They carry your bags ( by the way, it is my first time somebody actually carries my bag). the room is new and stylish, has fancy shower and decor. Overall, this is one of IHG's better hotels

这是我住过最差的酒店了，房间很糟糕，里面有霉味，冷热水不稳定，会烫伤我，而且房间了竟然没有鞋拔子，整个房间超级闷热，不透气，而且空调没有办法调节，服务生会莫名其妙的来敲门，前台服务生退房时的态度也超级差，只有餐厅的早餐还不错，而且服务很好，我再也不会来住了。
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room is very bad, there is a musty smell inside, the hot and cold water is unstable, it will burn me, and the room has no shoehorns. The whole room is super stuffy, airtight, and the air conditioner does not. The method is adjusted, the waiter will knock at the door inexplicably, and the attitude of the front desk attendant at check-out is also super bad. Only the restaurant's breakfast is good, and the service is very good, I will never come again.

Short stay for business

It´s a nice hotel, not very new but ok standard. Only one remark, they called me three times from the service desk one afternoon, asking me the same question, if I wanted my room cleaned. I had put the do not disturb sign on the door knob and wanted to sleep. The gym is good and well equipped. Close to shopping and metro and within walking distance to entertainment area 1912.

The best in Jianning

This is currently the best hotel in Jianning, I've seen one Marriott(not open yet) right across street. But that one's along side the high street which inevitably will be noisy. The staff, facility, room, cleanness and surroundings are all very well, needless to say it's very close to metro station. I deeply recommended it.

大床不满意

酒店总体尚可，早餐一般，服务人员不是特别专业，停车位过于狭窄，大床房明明就是两张单人床拼起来的，倒是够大，恰恰床边很硬，导致床中间一条区域太硬，无法躺，实在怪异。
