Decent for the Money

Overall it was a decent stay for the weekend. The beds are sooooo comfy! The room was clean, some upgrades are evident, like USB outlets on the outlets. The instant hot water in the shower was nice to have.
Downsides: The WiFi is TERRIBLE. No point in giving you a password, because you don’t need one. And when you do connect, it is much too slow. I used my hotspot instead in order to use my laptop.
The room lighting was really bad. No light in the entryway, there are only lamps in the room by the beds. The lighting in the bathroom is horrendous. They have a backlit mirror and that’s it. I had to move the floor lamp into the bathroom so I could do my makeup. They advertise brightly lit bathrooms… that’s a lie.
And be warned - there is no elevator!

The cleanliness of my room upon check in needed some improvement. The bed sheets on one of the beds was either dirty or stained, there were water marks on the side table and big toenail clippings on the floor. There was also some sort of sauce on the side of the entertainment center. However the bathroom was very clean as well as the rest of the room. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well.

The hotel is older. My room appeared clean, but there was hair on the bathroom floor and the kleenex box was empty. I went for breakfast at 8:45 and the hot food was gone. They had bread for toast and cereal. I did not check if they had any waffle batter. Overall it was okay.

The staff were amazing and friendly. However, we had to change out of the first room we had because there was mold in around the bath tub and there was dried blood and holes on the comforter. I requested a different room and this one was very dusty. I wound up doing a deep cleaning of my own. At the time I didn’t have another choice of staying somewhere else. The only thing I couldn’t do was shampoo the carpet (looked like someone had dropped pasta sauce on the carpet) or get the dust bunnies off the ceiling. The room wasn’t so bad after I did such a thorough clean.

When checking in - all of my credit cards declined (I checked them and they worked elsewhere). I had to give them a cash deposit.
At checkout, I had to pay them $3.30 cash. They said Hotels.com didn’t charge me enough to cover all expenses.

Clerk at desk seemed to take a while to check in. He was the only one at front desk which delayed checking in and and issues.
Breakfast was ok. Did have sausage links, eggs, biscuits and gravy and waffles for hot gravy. Bed wanting good. Topper was put on bed I guess to compensate bad mattress. For the price of this hotel I expected more.

Although the lady putting the food out for breakfast was there, it was cold. There wasn't a microwave there to heat it up. We were just staying one night and leaving after breakfast so we didn't use any other amenities. There was a cobweb from my light on the nightstand up to the corner of the ceiling. I did not see any spiders and the cobweb was dusty.

The room at the property had multiple issues. First, the room we were in was extremely musty and my wife and son, who are allergic to mold had issues. I believe I saw mold on the bathroom ceiling. The AC unit in our room didn't work properly and would change its own settings. Breakfast food was cold and we weren't able to select the items of interest. We settled for a waffle and pre-packaged foods. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the poor experience, but no reduction in rate was offered for the sub-par experience.

Everything went well as expected. The staff were friendly and efficient, even despite computer malfunctions! Cleanliness was outstanding. Even the exercise room was immaculate! Only the breakfast was a little disappointing. There were only a few allergen free foods and the fruit was limited and old. But at least everything was very clean!

Very, very over priced due to events in town that weekend. Very slow check in and when they had a system error that rejected my credit card, the attendant loudly announced to everyone, Your Card has been declined. When I told her that was not possible, she stated the system sometime has issues, manually ran it, and it was fine. Bed ok and room clean enough but tv barely worked and both the sink and shower drain barely worked. When we complained, they were not helpful. We will not stay there again.

The lighting was not good. It was non smoking but the room smelled horrible like smoke. We left the window open to try and air it out and it still was horrible. Front desk gave air freshener which helped but didn’t get rid of the strong smoke smell.

We were excited to find an available room last minute for parents weekend at the local university but ended up paying $200 for a room that had a gross smell. The floor had wet spots all over it and red stains all over the carpet. The door to the back parking lot at the bottom of our stairwell had no lock so we felt unsafe :(

Staff at check in and through out my stay were wonderful!
Missouri is a humid state and there are lots of bugs. I had to be very careful where I left my bags and any snacks (I used the fridge for snacks) or they would be full of ants. I stayed in this same room a year ago and had the same problem. Staff commented to me on checkout that they could have taken care of the ants if I had mentioned it during my stay. I hate having someone in my room when I am staying alone so I did not think to mention it and there were fewer ants this visit than a year ago.
Bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows of varying support levels, I loved the space of the room with one bed (full size) and a sofa. Fridge was a nice size and in room microwave worked well.

I booked 2 rooms for the same night through 2 different Internet searches. I was only staying one night for a family reunion , but needed 2 rooms for family traveling with me from Colorado. When I got there they told me they were overbooked and only had one room. I needed 2 rooms so I booked those at Days Inn hotel. I was refused refunds for either of the 2 rooms at Quality Inn. I had to pay for 4 rooms for one night. I will never ever make reservations at Quality Inn again. I also will discourage anyone I know from ever going there.

Lots of fast food options nearby. Cons: shower drain needed some attention, carpets could use a shampoo because they felt kind of sticky..I wore slippers. Hot breakfast was NOT good, I opted for a muffin and to get breakfast next door at Burger King.

If visiting for either of the colleges, the hotel is convenient to both - 5 minute drive. It is also close in proximity to restaurants which is nice. Beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy and the front desk person was very nice.

The shower appeared to have some black mold in a couple spots where the top of the shower met the wall...that was a little concerning. Additionally, with the price of TVs as they are today, the size of the TV in the room was very disappointing. One comforter had a stain on it - not sure what it was.

The hotel reception staff was very welcoming. Our room was satisfactory for the price. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, the housekeepers were great. We had a nice time staying at Quality Inn -- Kirksville MO, for 3 nights. There were a few issues with the condition of the room that we mentioned to the receptionist. He said he was sorry for the inconvenience, but did nothing to remedy. At check-in we noticed a few holes in our bed sheets, and stains on the comforter. The receptionist offered to change the sheets. We asked for another room, but that one had a leaky bathtub faucet. If you want to save money and want a room that smells clean and is clean, then it is a nice bargain. If you want everything to be updated, then keep looking and be willing to pay $50 or more a night to stay elsewhere in Kirksville. If on business I would stay here again.

We did not have a good stay here. First room given had dog hair all over beds, and overbearing fragrance to try and cover up. There was a box of items in front of the door still. Someone across the hall said they had bedbugs and had to be moved so we should check our room thoroughly. We were moved to a second room that had food all over the floor by the desk, stains on comfortable like it had not been cleaned, and the bathroom floor was filthy. Both rooms looked like they were not cleaned. Someone just made the beds.
I tried to find another room in town but was unable. We left first thing in the morning even though we had a two night stay booked. I spoke to Judy in the morning when we left, and she said Atit the manager would call me. He never did.They refused to refund my second night. When I called back again, still the runaround. \"manager will call.\" Bad experience with the cleanliness of the whole facility and room, and bad customer service and follow through. I will not recommend or ever stay here again.

The room was awful. There were bed bugs, the comforter looked like it had not been cleaned in forever, the side of the mattress had old puke down it. The sink and tub did not drain, cobwebs in the corner of the room. I told the person at the front desk and he said he would tell the manager and have him call me. I have no doubt that was the manager.

Clean w/ a few inconveniences.

The room was clean and updated nicely. Check in was easy, and the bed & pillows were comfortable.

The smoke detector was completely covered in painter's tape which we removed, but the device didn't appear to be working. We did report this to the front desk the next morning when we realized it.

There was no shower curtain, so you had to be willing to let water splash all over the bathroom if you wanted to take a shower. There was no shampoo.

The tv remote needed to be programmed to the cable box, as it didn't work for changing channels. You had to get up to change channels.

While the hotel was clean & comfortable, they just need to be more mindful of details.
