A large clean room but unfortunately no bottled water or tea/coffee making facilities. A very comfortable bed with good cotton bedding and two pillows each.
Staff always available at reception. An excellent restaurant with local cuisine.
A good stop en route to Greece. An easy village to walk our dog around before dinner. Look forward to staying another time.

Reception, restaurant, breakfast, staff friendliness and helpfulness were all very good.
The rooms are rather plain and basic, in contrast to the attractive main building.
Overall it’s also a bit expensive- value for money isn’t great.

Grande chambre avec literie confortable toutefois pas de draps, seulement une couette. Trop chaud pour dormir à moins d’être en camping dehors!!! J’ai du dormir avec la serviette de salle de bain pour éviter l’inconfort.

The staff were excellent, the room was clean and spacious, though some drawers might have been nice. It was good that dogs were allowed in the room, but it might have been nice if, for example, we could dine outside and have the dogs with us then. The restaurant was excellent and the service friendly.

The accommodation is very basic. The breakfast is not worth 14 euros. There is an onsite bakery where you can buy decent baked goods, so would suggest that instead. Dinner was also only mediocre with the dessert being so bitter that it was inedible.

A fire alarm sounded at 2.30am resulting in no sleep thereafter. I realise not the fault of the management, apparently other guests smoking, but could have been turned off quicker. Management v apologetic.
No drinking water provided in room.

Very comfortable hotel. Relatively expensive compared to others but very pleasant. Unfortunately we booked via Hotels.com and didn’t check the restaurant opening times on the web site. We wanted a hotel within 3 hours drive from Calais on a Sunday night and their restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening. Quite a few places to eat in Chalons en Champagne about 20 minutes away, so not a big issue but would have been good to know when considering choice of hotel when booking.

This was a good stay. The hotel clearly sells itself with its Tesla chargers (a car that’s way beyond our budget). The breakfast and dinner were excellent although the dinner menu was a bit limited. Friendly staff and a nice, small pool.

The summer of 2022 in France was so HOT. We stayed in the suite with great AC which is hard to find in Europe especially one that could keep you cool in 40C . Very easy on and off to highway . Nice little pool. The only downside was the food . Our dinner was so little and not cooked or seasoned well at all. I didn’t see any nearby places to eat or pick up food . We would go again, but bring our own food .

Lovely hotel but restaurant has limited choice

Lovely hotel, great family room set up - duplex with children's bedroom upstairs. Good on site parking and close to the motorway. The only down side was the restaurant. The quality of food was good, very French but little choice for vegetarians (1 starter and 1 main which were basically just plates of salad/vegetables - no thought or imagination) and only 2 choices of main for children which were mini adult versions so quite fancy. If you have fussy children this will be a problem.

Sadly, we did not get to stay here. Check in time was supposed to be until 8 pm. We arrived at 7:30 pm after driving most of the day to find the gates locked. We tried calling the number posted on the gate and the number for the hotel. No one answered either number (and we tried multiple times). Ended up making a last minute reservation at another hotel in a town 20 minutes away in Epernay, which turned out to be a better choice, as it was within walking distance of restaurants, and desk was staffed until 10 on.

Great Food, lovely Hotel

Travelling for business, but I will be back to Auberge des Moissons on a personal trip sometime. What a fantastic hotel, the photos do not do it justice. Inside the main area is like a mountain ski lodge, with friendly staff and a nicely stocked bar (although no alcohol-free beers). The food in the restaurant is worth the trip, melt in the mouth and fantastic taste, without the reliance on sauces... 10 out of 10...

Fantastic welcome from receptionist. The hotel has a sign up saying they speak English and that certainly seemed true of all the staff we met.
Our room was very large and on the ground floor. The hotel is very close to the motorway and has ample free and secure parking.
We had dinner( 28 franc menu) and breakfast ( 11 francs) at the hotel. The food was very good and service for dinner attentive but not intrusive. My only comment about dinner is that portion sizes are big and even missing out the cheese course I struggled to finish the pudding.
Interestingly the room rate charged by the hotel itself is 2 Euro less than Hotels.Com rate.

We knew that we'd be arriving late, after reception closed for the evening, and they were very communicative, giving us instructions about how to access the room. They also suggested a change of room to one all on one level after learning the age of our children, which was very thoughtful, and had everything prepared for us. We stayed just one night on our way from the UK down south, and would stay again. Also very convenient for the Tesla Supercharger, which is in their car park.

Can't really comment on the local area, etc, as it was just an over-night stay for us on a journey. The only slight negative is that the breakfast is fairly minimal given the price. It was an exceptionally clean, comfortable overnight stop, though, and would recommend.

Unexpectedly decent hotel with very good restaurant close to the A26 in Champagne region. Big variety of champagne on offer at excellent prices. Rooms were a little on the Spartan side but clean and good enough. It's close to the A26 and a good place to stop for the night if you're driving from the UK to the South of France.

Ideal room locations around a central outdoor courtyard. Comfortable bed. Quality restaurant. This was our second stay here en route to the south from Calais and we enjoyed it though the food at dinner was a little disappointing this time - over cooked Dauphinoise potatoes which seemed to have hung around for a long time and rather greasy poultry dish. Pastry on tart served for dessert was hard yet undercooked. Eggs bacon and sausage at breakfast were cold despite being in a heater. Despite this we would recommend and re visit.

Located well out of earshot of the motorway with rooms sited away from the road and arranged around a pretty courtyard, the rooms were standard modern mid range rooms which were cleanly kept. Food was of a very good standard and the restaurant staff very helpful wouldn't hesitate to stay there again very good value for money

Stayed for two nights in early September. The hotel is conveniently placed for the champagne region and about half an hour from both Reims and Epernay.
Rooms are clean, spacious and modern.
Public areas are well presented with items of local interest on display. There is a small pool (not used) which is a nice bonus.
The restaurant is very pleasant with a feeling of space. Staff were helpful and attentive and the menu,s and food were first class.
The final plus was the helpful, pleasant and friendly attitude of all the staff.

It was a single night stopover en route back to England. As we stayed on a Sunday night the hotel facilities were closed so we can't review them but the information we were sent to enable us to access the hotel and our room was excellent.Tea and coffee making facilities would have been VERY welcome as all was closed. They had left information about local restaurants open on Sunday evenings, one of which we used, and which was a rather soulless experience. Next morning the hotel came to life. The breakfast was fine and the reception staff pleasant and efficient.

Fab first night family stopover on route to Italy

We loved everything about this hotel. The family rooms were something that should be replicated around the world. As you come in the door to the room there is a small staircase leading up to a twin loft room. It is amazing how they can make a standard hotel room into a two bedroom affair. The children loved having their own space. We found this to be a much better option than adjoining rooms as it is not only cheaper but the children are effectively in the same room but everyone gets their space.

The food in the restaurant was delicious as was the Champagne. We would definitely stay again if passing that way.

The atmosphere was lovely and the place felt like great value for the money.
