Delighful, very friendly and efficient staff, great food. Room was basic and decor not to my taste but it was very clean. Useful location with quick access to major roads. Will use again.

This hotel is a little gem!

We stayed at this hotel June 2022 and decided to stay there again whilst travelling in this area in May 2023. Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking. This hotel is a little gem - comfortable and well-placed. There is even a McDonalds and petrol station next to the hotel. We will return there next time we are passing that way.

We arrived late, and staff were fabulous made us very welcome, nice bottle of Chablis premier cru went down a treat. The food was outstanding, good choice of menu, breakfast was fabulous too,?busy restaurant with lovely people couldn’t ask for more. We will be booking again. Friendly welcome.

Just a one night stay on the way to the Pyrenees. This hotel ticked all the boxes, great staff, wheelchair friendly rooms and decent restaurant with local specialities. Swimming pool looked inviting but unfortunately I didn't have the shorts!

Comfortable convenience

The hotel is just off the motorway, so don’t expect charm and character. But if you need a quick and easy place to stay overnight to break a long car journey, this hotel is ideal. There is a very nice swimming pool to entertain the kids. Breakfast on the terrace by the pool. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable rooms.

Good hotel for the price.

Ok so my French is quite poor and I try to speak it to show I’m willing to try another language the male receptionist was kind enough to switch to English (or he could not understand me) but was easier then, the hotel was very clean the restaurant was very efficient and good was top knotch. Thanks for a pleasant stay

No frills. Clean and friendly.

Clean hotel with updated room and bathroom. Very nice staff. Not too far from train station. Staff were very helpful and arranged for an early AM taxi to train station for me. Taxi arrived on time. Good food in full service restaurant & bar.. Room was a bit warm and turning off heat did not help. Luckily, windowed opened. A no frills hotel, but all the basics and clean. Located 3 mins out of town. Need car, too far to walk.

A very convenient hotel

We stayed for 4 nights because we were in the process of buying a house in La Souterraine. The service was excellent and the hotel was very convenient, as it is close to a dual carriageway. Pity one doesn't have tea making facilities in French hotels.

Lovely new hotel with AC, pool & easy access

location just off the highway and close to the A20 auto route from Toulouse to Paris. The weather was unusually hot so a hotel with AC and a pool was a wonderful find. Alexia is visible from the highway located in an industrial zone so access is very convenient for the passing traveler. Very new, lovely interior design in the rooms and lobby - handicap access to all amenities including the pool. In room control of the AC worked and the shower was the best I've found in France.

Very secure parking

Would have been easy to find had the SatNav not taken us off the motorway too soon! Fairly close to a major route, quite expensive evening meal but not close enough to main town to offer any other option. Breakfast is extra cost, aircon did not seem to work.

Vrai hotel 3 étoiles, ce qui n'est pas le cas de pas mal d'autres hôtels. Chambre de grande taille, douche de grande taille, chauffage qui fonctionne correctement (peu de bruit), télévision de grande taille avec les chaînes canal+. Le petit déjeuner est bien, le restaurant aussi.

Le petit déjeuner est super avec pleins de produits locaux, le gâteau creusois aux noisettes, le fromage blanc fermier un délice. Globalement tout est parfait et l'accès est rapide par la RN 145.

Ik kwam vlak voor sluitingstijd van de keuken aan maar kon toch nog een maaltijd bestellen, erg fijn na een hele dag reizen!
Het hitel is goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg en ligt op een rustige locatie. Het ontbijt zag er zeer uitgebreid uit.

Je voyage avec un petit chien, ce qui n'est pas toujours simple, et chez Alexia Hôtel tout s'est tres bien passé.

Aller retour.

Nous avons choisi l'hôtel Alexia, car il se trouve à mi chemin de l'île d'Oléron. Très bon emplacement en étape.
Nuits calmes bonne isolation phonique.
Couloir malheureusement sales et encombrés par les chariots et le linges sales en début de soirée.
Pas de bouteilles en d'eau en chambre, malgré la canicule.
Rideaux d'occultation non efficaces.
Côté restauration les frites qui semblent le légume le plus servi en accompagnement, sont réalisées avec des pommes de terre non pelées, trop cuites a l'aller, et pas assez cuite au retour.

Nous avons réservé à l'occasion d'une grosse pétition de VTT. Dommage de ne pas, avoir pu stocker le vélo (grande valeur) dans la chambre alors qu'il était très propre et que nous avions tout pour le protéger....

Une bonne étape

Les +: Hôtel spacieux et calme. Piscine en saison. Le personnel est accueillant et agréable. Chambre et parties communes propres, bonne literie. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable.
Les -: le restaurant à éviter, cher pour ce que c'est: frites notées maison mais en réalité surgelé et pas très bonnes, produits bas de gamme (ex: fondue creusoise avec 3 tranches de jambons, bourrée de mauvaises frites et une sauce au fromage industrielle. Bruschetta au beurre d'escargot, sans beurre d'escargot avec du pesto bien écœurant à la place).
Quelques points de maintenance à faire dans les chambres: lumière à remplacer dans la SdB, dalles du plafond en mauvaise état.
En périphérie de la ville, il faut prendre la voiture pour aller en centre ville.

En conclusion, bon hôtel d'étape, vous y dormirez bien et au calme. Evitez juste le restaurant.

à 21h45 un client a ouvert ma chambre avec la bonne clé et le bon porte-clé avec le bon numéro de chambre
sauf que je me trouvais dans mon lit, moi aussi avec la bonne clé et le bon porte-clé avec le bon numéro de chambre.
Surpris lui aussi , il est redescendu à la réception.
5 minutes plus tard le réceptionniste est venu frapper à ma porte et m'a demandé mon nom, puis a présenté ses excuses.
Ce n'est pas rassurant qu'un réceptionniste donne des doubles de clés à un 2ème clients.

Ce n’est pas mon premier séjour. Toutes les chambres sont identiques, belle taille, bureau, salle de bain avec douche.
Selon les chambres la qualité de la literie est variable, un peu vieillissante ? Le rideau occultant est un peu juste, il fait jour dans la chambre le matin.
Le restaurant au sein de l’hôtel était mieux avant. Le choix fond à vue d’œil ce qui peut être gage de qualité mais il faut pouvoir plaire à tous quand même.
Je ne sais pas si j’y reviendrai alors que j’y venais régulièrement.

Hôtel à proximité de la Souterraine, nous y sommes allés une nuit et avons pu profiter pleinement de la piscine et du court de tennis (avec prêt de raquettes). Petit déjeuner copieux, et avec fruits.

Hôtel plutôt bien. Je parlerai seulement de la chambre : notre matelas était en 160x200 et très confortable. Par contre, les oreillers sont trop petits et sans volume, ça contraste trop avec le matelas. Le reste de la chambre est convenable

Un canapé lit au lieu d'un lit!

Un très mauvais séjour.
Nous avions réservé pour 3 personnes dans cet hôtel afin de dormir dans des lits. Malheureusement, un des lits n'était autre qu'un canapé-lit très inconfortable qui nous a donné mal au dos et empêcheur de dormir dus au bruit qu'il faisait dès que l'on bougeait. Si je réserve un hôtel, c'est pour avoir un lit et non un convertible.
