I am really frustrated because only one plug is useable and I could not use all plugs near to my bed. No dustbin in toilet. No channel is available even though we were able to switch on tv.

Noisy traffic could be heard right through the night. Whilst the room was meant to be a non smoking room, it was very unpleasant to sleep with traces of stale cigarette smell permeating the room through the aircon vents. Glass panel and door to shower cubicle hasn't been cleaned for awhile from appearance when we checked in, with dirty streaks of soap scum marks still on them. Don't get me started on the toilet flush button or the sink tap........! And oh, it'll be helpful to provide a hand towel too. Won't be coming back to stay even though the food at the breakfast bar were pretty good.

Our initial room was on the second floor of the older “low-rise” section of the hotel facing the pool. There was a connecting door to the adjoining room, plus a broken toilet flush button. So, we asked to move rooms due to noise issues at previous hotels.
The staff were great and promptly moved us to another room on the same floor. Unfortunately, the desk chair was filthy and some areas hadn’t been properly cleaned.
That night, it was unacceptably noisy in the hallway from young children screaming and playing into the late evening - the room was not very soundproof!
The worst thing was the “Queen” bed was so small that, being reasonably tall (6’1), my feet were entirely sticking out the end of the bed - not an enjoyable sleep!
Once again, although the staff said they don’t have any larger beds and the “queen” size was based on a “Malaysian” standard, they were very understanding and moved us to their new “high-rise” section with updated and more modern rooms.
Our new room was on a high floor and gave us a good view - especially for the enjoyable nightly storms. However, the bed was still short and unfortunately, we didn’t sleep that well during our stay.
There was an entensive breakfast, but much was tailored to locals. Still, there was sufficient food for us to enjoy.
Good shopping at the nearby plaza.
The staff allowed us a very late checkout at 5pm due to our late flight, which was appreciated.
Overall, the staff were a plus, but the beds were a big problem!

Hotel was run down. We were first given a room located on the 9th floor, the room was located right next to a bunch of outdoor air conditioning fans that was so loud hence later in the afternoon we requested for another room, we were then moved to the 8th floor. Whilst the room was quieter, the room condition was gross and dirty. The headboard was old and dingy, the pillows and sheets had a damp smell, the bathroom area was mouldy and black in some parts and the hotel was very stingy with their bathroom amenities. The breakfast was not pleasant, looked unhygienic and the quality of food was questionable. Will definitely NOT be returning to this hotel!

Great stay for Strict Muslims - excellent staff

Very nice hotel conservative Muslim with good staff. Clean, good breakfast and service. We were unaware of the Kota Bharu culture, having never been before - no alcohol in the hotel and anlmost non in town and certainly no ladies in the pool (unless in full burkhah!) however for a 2 night stay enroute the Perhentian Islands it made for a pleasant stay - out of town but opposite a Starbucks and a almighty. Distance to a shopping centre.

Nice, clean spacious room with large bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. We were thankful for the hotel’s close proximity to the Sultan Muhammad Stadium, home of Kelantan FC. The Perdana is also close to a great Night Market on Jalan Hospital only a few walkable blocks away. We stayed three nights and visited the market all three nights!

An almost perfect stay spoilt by the lunch

A beautiful hotel decorated with traditional design & items of Kelantan.
Cld hv been a perfect stay unfortunately spoilt by the the huge disappointment during lunch.

All the food ordered were over cooked....the grilled salmon & NZ beef as well as the roasted chicken.
What shld hv tasted juicy & tender ended just the opposite !

With the price they charge, I believe this is the best hotel in KB. But, very disappointed that the hotel is bad in maintenance, old furniture and dirty toilet.

Especially the ants is non stop disturbing me when I’m working on the desk. The worst thing is I can see a cockroach leg on the towel !!

Overall very good. Breakfast got many choices and variety foods. One thing i do aggrieved is my neighbour next room make noise during maghrib religous prayer. I felt so sad...because Islam is our religious. If you dont pray, at least respect others privacy. Hotel management should provide a space for customer to comment immediately and take immediate action to teach uncivilized customers.

Overcrowded & service quality goes to the drain

Checking in was smooth even though my earlier call to ask for early check-in was answered based on a scripted, firm policy (no check in before 3pm, no matter what, full stop) but that didn’t stop the receptionist to politely upgrade me to executive room upon 3pm checking in, what a pleasant surprise!

My 2-night stay was a little disrupted when I called for room service for some cutlery request and they took nearly one hour to deliver to my room and that only happened after multiple follow-up calls made. I thought it was just once incident due to understandably heavy traffic at the restaurant but the next day when I asked for room service for breakfast the same thing happened. And they gave the expected excuses. Even worst, the food quality was just so-so. Not worth-waiting!

Thanks to ARIS HOUSEKEEPING who made my last day of stay rather memorable with his immediate response and attentive helps!

While most other hotels are suffering from COVID-19 I was hoping this hotel doesn’t take it for granted and start to buck it up to ensure business continuity for the company and employees are sustained. As competition for hotel businesses is not as intense as the other bigger cities, Hotel Perdana should keep up its quality of service and brand promise, and stay far away from being monopolistic but remains commendable & worth the money to spend on.

One of the best hotels in Kota Bharu

I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the last year or so on work. It's arguably one of the best hotels in Kota Bharu in terms of overall condition, cleanliness and quality of amenities.

However, it is showing its age - the padded wall at the head of the bed is peeling badly, while slow sink drainage and long wait for hot shower water seems to be a problem encountered every other stay (including my latest one). The hidden electrical sockets in the desk are also poorly designed and most UK-socket laptop cords will find it a very tight squeeze.

That aside, the food is not bad - the nasi kerabu is actually very good and worth checking out - and service is friendly.

The room was filthy. Stains on the bed covers, carpet was dirty, clearly not vacuumed. Bathroom was not maintained and the basin tap was about to fall off. We were moved to another room which was equally filthy. The reviews from other guests have been really positive so I was extremely disappointed with the quality of cleanliness. Staff were sweet and tried to help, but clearly poor management is the problem. I was told that the general manager would contact me. Still waiting.

I was regular customer for this hotel since 2012. Almost every month I check in this hotel and I used to book by Expedia mostly.
This month I was very disappointed with the front desk receptionist because I was given cheaper room than I had paid in Expedia. I had complained then I get another types of room which is still below what I had paid.
I decided to accept the room but again I just want the hotel know that maybe their booking system was faulty, however a receptionist lady try to put the blame on me because choose to book through online rather than walk in. I was very piss off..and disappointed.
Maybe because the receptionist look down on me because I am local Kelantanase with low profile clothing.
I deserve a equal service as i had paid as other customers.
I advised the hotel to train their staff to had a better understanding of their duty whosever of their customers.
That lady receptionist is not fit to be in that hotel..what a shame of kelantanese.

Hotel Perdana is fabulous. I would rate every aspect to be outstanding. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and caring about the guests. The room is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast has a lot of varieties, and most are delicious. The parking is a bit tight, especially over the weekend, probably because the hotel is really popular in KB. Generally speaking, I would rate the hotel 5 out of 5, and will definitely stay again when we visit KB in the near future. Thanks to the Management and All Staffs for making our experience at KB more memorable and impressive!

Hotel a bit run down coz we got the old wing. Bathroom slippery and when we take shower the waters unable to flow properly coz there is no partition in the bathroom. Need to improve on this. Towel need to change also to new coz discoloured to a bit darker . No longer white color.

The room is rather bit old and worn I guess for the amount I paid, RM2++ on perday basis. The room interior has signs of scratches made by children and the toilet floor near the water drain was not cleaned properly. The toilet roof also got a small leakage in which during torrent rain, water drops fell onto the floor. I stayed in room 303. However, the hospitality and breakfast were top notched!

I arrived at the hotel 5pm & room was not ready for check in. Wait for another 15 minutes. Room condition was wear down especially in bathroom area. TV channel was very poor. Rooms are not maintained and very tired. Bathroom flooded when taking a shower, with shower curtain fully closed. Rotten molding in bathroom due to the shower leakage problem. The ‘headboard’ wall of the bed was a soft fabric material which was peeling and ripped. In check-in, we were not provided with towels. The staff was friendly enough, the restaraunt was adequate. Room was very dated with serious maintenance issues.
