Typical hotel with lousy rooms and bad policy

Rude lady reception, good valet, good housekeeping lady. Worn out condition and lobby without enough seats even though spacious. Mentality of staffs need to be more guest orientated. Room provided without bed for 2 adults + 2 child’s and charged RMB 150 for a rollaway bed. Worst experience is the constant drilling / hacking of upper floors during our entire stay.... should not even rent out a room like this. Overall experience is very bad.

Nice hotel. Inside elite suite is on par with Hilton. Lobby is nice but nothing special. 2nd stay here on business from USA. Staff is helpful but 1 in 10 speak english. Breakfast is eatable. Metro right outside. If you need to be in this area of GZ it is good option and a good value.

Two nights at Guangzhou New Century Hotel

Room was OK but the rest of the Hotel was tired and somewhat dirty. Also the advertised Shuttle Bus to the Airport, (important reason for booking in the first place) had been discontinued. Breakfast was good.

Not living up to a 4 star international hotel

This is the first time back to this hotel for us since 6 years ago and although the town have changed quite abit but the hotel didn't seem to grow with the development except for the room rate. The staff is functioning as what they should perform as their job, the room is spacious but not really well kept. The carpet is dirty like most hotel in China but other than that, it is normal. For the money they are charging, you expect a little better. I don't think it is a hotel I will want to go back to and rather explore other newer hotel which is newer and more reasonable iin price for what you are getting.

Parts of the hotel were fancy but some of the finishing on the building seemed poor. Most importantly, the place was clean and the beds were very firm but comfortable. Some buildings in the neighbourhood were dilapidated but others were new.

Hotel is outdated, feels like from the 80s. It offered a good price and was rated 4 stars so I decided to give it a try. Made 2-day reservation and upon entering the room, there was a strong musky smell in the room. Lots of stain and spots on the carpet, I'm guessing the carpet must have been 20 years old. One wall plug did not work. I wanted to move immediately but it was already late night and taxi would have taken another 45 min to a downtown 5-star hotel, so I stayed. The next morning I asked about checking out one day early and the manager still wanted to charge for the 2nd night. It was so unbearable I decided to move anyway. When I packed up and went to check out, the manager was not there and the staff graciously charged me only for one night. Buffet breakfast was ¥40 and you get what you pay for.

The New Century Hotel is new and beautiful. There is a city and airport bus right next to the hotel. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The saved my 80 Yuan by recommending that I catch a bus instead of utilizing a taxi service. They even had an employee escort me to the bus station and waited with me until my buss arrived. The quality, quantity, and the variety of the food and drinks available in the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel was very satisfying. The service was poor. Both mornings I slept there I had to clean up my own table. Not enough waiters and not enough urgency to do their job. Nevertheless, you will NOT regret that you chose sleeping at the New Century Hotel.

Disgusting is putting it mildly

I paid $50 for the room, it said 4 star but it was terrible. The rooms on the 8th floor were damp and had an awe full smell. The beds were the hardest I encountered and this was after I moved up to the 14th floor. The beds were no better after I complained. The picture of a glazed rat in the lift promoting some sort of meal put me off breakfast....horrible experience. You pay for what you get

Huadu Guangzhou new century hotel

Supposedly centralized location was blocked off totally by construction of the new metro system. It will not be an another few years before the station open and perhaps bring some life back to this once grandest hotel in huadu. Big hotel was less than 20 rooms full, dark and isolated is what I would describe the place at this moment. Terrible service as the housekeeping serve me drinkable ice cube in a plastic bag, really? Plastic bag? Yes and she has the cheek to say it's clean n drinkable , I should give it a try. Will not stay here again until they have upgraded all their 80s room.

Poor Service and Location

I would not recommend staying in this hotel unless you absolutely have to be in this area. I was surprised by the poor service at a hotel that was supposed to be four star Chinese Gov't rated. There is no way this hotel should have that rating. We asked a passing staff ember for directions to the business center and he didn't even stop. He just pointed to a direction and kept walking. At the restaurant, the waitress had no idea what half the items on the menu were. Plus, there was general staff apathy. We asked where to take the airport shuttle in the am. The front desk lady said just go outside on the right. She made no mention that the shuttle pickup spot had changed and we had to go all the way to the street and couldn't just stand by the hotel. This caused us to miss the first shuttle and delayed our arrival to the airport. Plus, the location is poor. There is not much to do around the hotel. Maybe in a few years when the metro is done but right there this area has little for hotel guests outside of a night street market. All in all, I will never stay at this hotel again. Poor service by an in attentive staff. I almost never give poor reviews and I have been in the service industry so I tend to give service people the benefit of the doubt. Here, the new Century staff has disappointed me on many levels.

Best hotel for this part of Guangzhou city.

This hotel is in prime location when the new subway system is finished in 3 years. It will need major refurbishing at that time for the hotel rooms. The carpets are showing thier age. The bed was too hard. I folded the top blanket to give me padding on top of bed. Many fine Chinese resterants to eat at. Many interesting shops.

The condition of the hotel is no where near 4-stars, 3-stars at most. It needs a major over haul, the room is smelly but has comfy bed. Breakfast is so-so, little western choices. Big construction in front of hotel for a subway terminal. I won't return to this hotel.

Very nice, reasonable price

The staff is very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem I had was the dance club next door playing the music so load. Not the hotels fault but it made sleeping difficult if you go to bed early. I was there in January so it was a little cool in the restaurant which is located on the second floor in the lobby. Shuttle service to airport is convenient, but recommend leaving early since they have other hotels to pick up from.

Nice hotel, wrong position at the moment

The hotel and staff were excellent and the prices very good. The only problem was that it was half an hour by taxi from everywhere including the nearest metro station. It was easy getting a local taxi to the airport, central shopping etc. but almost none of the taxis, even from the airport, wanted to go there on the return journey. I expect because the likelihood of a return fare was almost non existent. A pity because for value for money it was great. After 3 days I was forced to move more central as I was always anticipating not finding a taxi to get back to the hotel. Probably the situation will improve soon as there seems to be a lot of new hotels opening in this area.

We stayed there for Canton fair. It took about 50-60 minutes but it is long distance and it comes about 170RMB including toll fee and do not want to recommend this hotel if someone has business in downtown. The hotel was big but the facility was very poor and old.

I was a little apprehensive when the summary indicated that \"private bathrooms (not in the room)\" was written. So I decided since the rooms were affordable that I'd upgrade to an Executive Suite. We were extremely pleased. Not only were the bathrooms private, we had 2 of them in the suite. If you can upgrade, I suggest you do.

This was a happening place. Nice hotel, nice staff who were EXTREMELY helpful. Cool club next door if you're into that. The buffet was pretty good as Chinese hotel buffets go. My only problem was that it is in Huadu which is far from the guangzhou city center and I really didn't know any better when booking so that's my fault.

Will never go back - Disappointing 4 star hotel

If you are visiting Canton Fair and you got attracted by reasonable price in that period - as I did, pay attention that this Hotel does not provide service as many other 4 star Hotels. The shuttle bus is never proper size and you will have to fight to get transportation to the fair since there ware no seat (day by day) in bus/es which just left. While all buses are leaving fair ground at 6pm and 6:30pm after closing time, this one will take you 5:50pm and block your last 1/2 hour of working time. Then you will be seated in the bus at least 70-75 minutes to the Hotel. In Hotel room you will find everything as you left it (a part of the bathroom). No vacuum cleaning, no dust cleaning, no mug and glasses washing. They must \"believe\" you like to have it just like that. They only empty garbage bin. Bed sheets are of synthetic mixture as pillows and if you request, they have no cotton bedding or other pillow. Bed is soft as wooden floor. If you want to sleep before 1am then you shall be very tired since there is some discotheque near by where from screaming (large noise) comes. Do not try to speak English - no one will understand you. Out of the fair time you will find 99% guests are not International but local. That's how it is.

Close to the airport, careful of fish prices

Close to the airport in a mildly seedy area. S**en or s**en stains (couldn't tell) graced the chaise lounge alongside the window. Same furniture needed vacuuming (would someone please sell these hotels vacuum crevice tools?). Other than that, it served my purposes for a one-night stay near the airport. Be careful about fish prices in the restaurant. I paid over 300 RMB for one tiger fish.

Location is good nearby subway statgon. Reserved room was big and equipped good. But the room is not so clean and very musty, so I need to open window for all day long. If the window was fixed, I cannot stay there. The building is old and not so clean. The breakfast was also not so attracive one. This is one of the worst stay of me! It’s not worthy it. It is a Four star hotel but it is no more than 2 star if let me rate it.

The surrounding is bad, of a rebuilding situation. The gyms and swimming pool is not open. The equipment and facilities are too old, maybe 30 years old at least. I guess it is rated as 4 stars at 1980s!

And I’m driving an EV, the total four charging stations are not working at all!

No services, old facilities, fair rooms but also old, breakfast is fair but few choices. I think it just worth 200RMB for the most, including the breakfast, or I’ll pay 100RMB the most.

スイートルームを使用しましたが、設備が古い上に風呂場やトイレの天井にカビが点々と付いており、非常に不潔感がありました。また、寝室およびリビングともエアコンの効きが悪く、常に汗をかいている状態でした。近隣には日本食屋が幾つかあり便利ですが、この部屋には二度と泊まらないと思います。同時に宿泊した同僚は、改装後の部屋で問題なく宿泊できたと言っていますので、次回は改装後の部屋を指定したいと思います。

Typisch in chinesischem Stil gehaltenes Stadthotel

Das Hotel ist ok, sauber und die Preis/Leistung stimmt. Ich hatte eine executive suite, die sehr geräumig, sauber und ok war! Es ist alle noch im \"typisch chinesischen Stil\" gehalten, was nicht negativ sein soll, aber nicht ganz auf internationalem Standart ist, trotzdem gut! Leider wird die Metro im Umfeld gebaut, so daß viele Geschäfte schließen mussten, darunter auch mein Lieblingsrestaurant direkt neben dem Hotel. Das Internet ist schlecht, und es gibt keine internationalen Fernsehkanäle. Das Frühstück gut, alles vorhanden, wenn man guten alten Kaffee mag und nicht auf Capuccino etc. steht, das gitb es nämlich nicht. Das Personal ist seht bemüht, wenn auch unwissend und nicht der englischen Sprache mächtig. Aber , wie gesagt, wir sind mitten in Alt Huadu! Alles in allem ok!!

我們早到了都比我地check in上房, 而且500元按金不一定收人民幣.
酒店還送每人一罐飲品比我們
有自選電影服務, 是不用收費的, 不錯.

不過酒店房間有點不隔聲音, 偶爾聽到隔壁房的人說話
本人覺得房間空調和洗手間拉低了整體評分
1. 入房後, 空調開了很耐都未涼 (不是每一間房如此, 看你彩數)
2. 洗手間的風筒(應該叫吹風機)是爛的, 而且拎住吹會很熱, 要用毛巾包住
3. 花灑是固定頭, 洗澡時很不方便。而且要花點智慧才知點樣由下面水龍頭出水轉為花灑頭出水.

1樓日本料理非常好吃

雖然是略有歲月的酒店但是房間內的傢俱用品品質還是可以，自助早餐也還不錯。我住的房間隔音不錯，美中不足的是淋浴間的花灑不能用，水量非常小。
位於酒店一樓的日本料理餐廳有出人意料的非常美味的餐點，值得為了再次品嘗而入住此酒店。

広州で乗り継ぎのため宿泊しましたが、ホテルまでたどり着くのに苦労した以外はよいホテルでした。
シャトルバスがあるような記載がありましたが、事前に電話連絡が必要？だったのか結局わかりませんでしたが公共交通機関のバスを使って自力で行きました。
空港へ向かう際はバス停留所まで一緒に来てくれて一緒に待っていてくれて親切でした。

酒店房間隔音設施不佳, 可聽到隔壁房的打呼聲, 深夜不知是隔壁房還是樓上房所使用馬桶的聲音, 就好像是你的房間在使用一樣.

ホテル内は快適

フロントでは英語が通じるので、取り敢えずの意思疏通は出来ます。ホテル内は清潔で快適、朝食のbuffetは40元で、麺類は注文してから調理して貰うコーナーもあります。ただ、ホテル前で進められている地下鉄工事のために、玄関前の広場が殆ど塞がれてしまっており、景観に圧迫感がある事は否めません。

Il faut compter 30 rmb pour aller jusqu'à l'aéroport. Attention depuis l'aéroport le taxi en a réclamé 200 !

広州空港に近い花都にある中国南方航空指定ホテル

中国広州市花都区の空港から車で20分の距離にあり、設備は多少古いですが、基本的なサービスは何ら問題ありません。
ホテル内にも日本料理店がありますが、ホテル周辺にも日本料理店が多数存在し日本人スナックも多く接待等にも全く困らない立地条件です。

尚可的一晚

房間頗大，也算舒適，直通巴士直達門口，非常方便，酒店大堂設有坐位供旅客等候巴士，也算貼心。沐浴用品的份量很少，一次沐浴的份量也不夠。整體來說一晚沒有甚麼特別感覺。

Old facilities. Poor staff. But good breakfast!

Room and place is a bit old but can't expect too much in such a small town. I check in but the reception didn't find my booking. After a while, they gave me a key card but there was already someone in the room!!! So embarrassing. I went back to the reception and they said I booked next year. So many excuses. By the way, it is still good and clean. Breakfast is good. Movies are free!

朝食の種類が多い。スタート時間も6時からなので、早く出発する人も食べられる。ただ部屋がやや古く、手入れがきちんとしていない感じがする。
