A comfortable stay for one night. Hot water was not working in the bathroom and room telephone did not work so ordering room service was more complicated. However, had good food delivered to the room and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was provided. Staff were nice and attentive

K Grand in Surat Thani.

Check-in was good, staff were great, helped us with our cases. Room had a damp/mouldy smell then through the night we had a water leak from the room above. Left after one night.

An excellent hotel with a colonial-style lobby so big you could park a jumbo jet in there. Great value for money, spacious well-appointed room, room service (haven't seen that in a while, although I didn't use it) and an extremely efficient aircon unit that would cause hypothermia if left running on full overnight. Situated a few Km north of downtown Surat Thani, but a 7/11 just over the road (actually an 8 lane motorway, but if you run you'll be ok). Breakfast won't win awards, but what do you expect for £30 a night? The perfect tonic after spending 5 nights in a substandard beach hut on Koa Tao.

It's a shame the hotel was practically empty, they deserve more custom. The staff are excellent, the lobby as good as any I've seen in a 4-star, and it would be criminal if hotels like this go out of business.

Downtown Surat Thani is the real Thailand you absolutely must visit. Everything's in Thai, no-one speaks any other language, and the evening streetfood market is a feast for the senses, a foodie's paradise all cooked fresh in front of you. No weird stuff, the aromas will stay with me forever, and plenty of homemade ice cream and smoothies for the kids. Fabulous, and only £1.50 in a tuktuk away from the hotel.

I recommend you book directly with the hotel.

Because we booked through hotels.com the hotel did not seem to know we were arriving. They had several guest keys ready to be picked up but not ours.
It took longer than normal to check in and they gave us the wrong room then called us to move. They were very apologetic and lovely to deal with. Next time I will book directly with the hotel.

Great place to stop off if location is convenient

Really nice hotel, though slightly dated, and very empty. Great value and the staff were super helpful and really kind. Location is out of the way but good if you want to get to the ferry port in the morning.

The very calm and comfort hotel.

The overall envirement of hotel very calm. The room was very comfort and clean but hotel management not provided the complimentary tea n coffee in room. We stay at superior room which located at level 2 and need to walk-up. The staff are very nice and good services.

THE HOTEL WAS OLD FASHIONED THE LOOKED OLD THE BATHROOM WAS OLD THE BED WAS HARD THE PILOW STANK IT WAS A BAD HOTEL BREAKFAST WAS SO BAD I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND WOULD TELL MY FRIEDS NOT TO GO .

Room was huge and quiet!
Breakfast buffet was ok.. spaghetti carbonara was good but the Pad Thai terrible.
Staff really friendly and try to help as much as they understand!! They help me to book my ferry to Koh Samui.

very low prices. nice hotel, breakfast included and had a lot of choices. thought prices were a misprint given quality. about $30 usd for room and two full breakfast buffets. unbelievable value.

Utterly disappointing and uncomfortable

Very tired travellers arrived after long long train ride and we were very disappointed. Room was stark and bed like a slab of concrete. Bare minimum of everything and worn out furniture. We were the only Westerners at breakfast which was busy and eggs stone cold. Would never stay there again!

Stay at K park 3 nights not much to say okay for the buck, but then it's said!!! Not a real hotel with service but then at this price your not paying for it, location is 10min drive by tuktuk to \"town\" No English, and could find a hotel with the same standard room no service right in town for half price.

Value For Money

Very nice for a stop-over stay from Koh Samui. Good breakfast. For the evening, there is nothing much around the hotel so can visit Big C for food and shopping. Try not to get a tuk-tuk from hotel but walk across the road to get tuk-tuk. It is only 20 baht each to Big C. Hotel provide comfortable transport to airport at 500 baht. Very reasonable.

We stayed one night before taking the ferry to Koh Tao. The hotel was fine, overall nothing spectacular stood out. They were helpful to book our bus/boat tickets to the islands and everything for our transfer was handled smoothly. Breakfast was ok and it was nice that they made eggs freshly in front of you, but there were not a lot of options. Overall a fine place to stay, but nothing close in the neighborhood to see or do.

Clean and Tidy

Stayed there for one night after our trip to Koh Phangan before our flight on the next morning. It has a pleasing and grand outlook. Certainly the lobby looks good and the room doesn't disappoints us. Clean, neat and tidy. Had a pleasing stay there, enough comfort for us to rest well for the following day's trip. Breakfast wasn't with lots of choices but it will do, and one drawback is that the room doesn't provide a kettle for us to boil some water. Had to ask for room service to send us some hot water.

The staff have no idea at all at what is going on in the hotel.The desk staff dont knowm the email address, or how to get it.The staff cant find reservations.Porter doesnt know what hes doing, checking us in or out No english spoken at all. Never Again

I had an opportunity to stay tho hotel only one night with my friend. When we arrived to the check in counter. Nobody greeted us until I began my conversation that we were going to check in. The staff just looked at us and request my passport. They didn't know I booked trough Expedia and it seemed didn't have my booking. So, I presented the voucher to them but they asked me when I booked it. I have stayed many 3 stars hotel and all of them I booked through Expedia. They have known exactly who I am to check in when i present my passport and booking voucher but here is the first time I met. When the check in processing finish, no room direction. We had to find the room by no any direction.The room is quite old and dirty. I found many hair in the bed. I found a lot of dust in the room. All facilities are old. I don't want to complaints but I have to compare to other 3 stars hotel that I have stayed before. This hotel is lower than 3 stars hotel.

綺麗で便利なホテルです

期待していませんでしたが、ロビーも広々としていて、部屋も綺麗でWi-Fiがとても快適でした。

ホテルの食事はお勧めできません。外に行けば、安くて美味しいローカル料理が食べられますので、朝も夜も是非外に行ってください。

ローカル色豊かでのんびり過ごせます

価格からは想像できないくらい清潔な部屋で快適に過ごせました。
　スラタニ空港でも、ホテルでも両替ができませんでした。　街中のATMでクレジットカード　キャッシングして間に合わせましたが　少しあわてました。
余談ですがナイトマーケットに行こうとしてフロントにタクシーを依頼しましたがいつまでたっても来ません。　後でわかったのですが実はトゥクトゥクが来ていたのです。　ここでは普通のタクシーはなく　トゥクトゥクがタクシー代わりでした。　フロントのスタッフの方　何回も呼ばせてすみませんでした。
