Hotel is a little run down. Our room smelt like septic the whole time from the bathroom. They should offer more drive times and oickups from the town of pai. The staff was very nice tho!

Impress! Supper fast check-in and check-out.

Impress! Sleep well because of clean bed (bedsheet, pillow, blanket).

Impress! Very great breakfast. 5 stars!

However, I personally don’t like it’s bathroom style. Cannot control, hot and cold water. With the old type of room key, very difficult to lock or unlock the door.

Below expectation

The experience was below expectation. We chose this property because we wanted a private villa. We stayed in Villa 3 for two nights. The villa itself is fine, but the living room's bathroom door cannot be closed and locked. The gym was below 4 star hotel and the swimming pool is quite small. Although the breakfast is nice, the price per night is still too high.

Had the most dreamy time in Pai at this resort. My friend and I were on a backpacking trip but decided to treat ourselves, especially after that long van ride from chiang mai. Only booked 1 night (Jan 26 2020) but loved it so much we extended our stay another night. Great pool amenities and a fantastic view. Pai is still chilly end of January so the pool was very cold but we managed to get a good couple swims in. Room conditions were fantastic. Breakfast was included and it was nice to see that we got a choice of a meal, rather than just simply a breakfast buffet. There was still a table of the basics like bread and milk and cereal in the center as well. The resort is a bit far from the main Pai strip but the resort offers free shuttle services that were reasonably timed to enjoy the city center. The quiet isolation of the resort is an added plus to the calmness and overall atmosphere of the place, especially combined with the view. Stayed at the Deluxe Twin Bed but would want to come back one day with my significant other to one of their private pool villas. Hope they are doing well during this COVID-19 situation. Missing travelling and missing Thailand, I hope for the day to return soon!

We stayed for 3 nights in Deluxe room, and we absolutely love it. The bed hardness is to our liking, we sleep well throughout the nights. Breakfast selection is lean towards the western choice but the food was well prepared. Surrounding villa was well kept and we did enjoy the post breakfast walks. Believe we can see paddy, vegetables and fruits at different months of the year.
One area for improvement may be the shower thermostat and pressure. It seems the water tempreture and pressure is easily controlled during shower.
Other than the shower, we love everything here at Puripai.

It is a nice place in a nice setting, it is a lovely property.

It was very cold in the evenings and early morning, we were there in December so bring clothes to keep you warm. Do not use the scooter place they recommend next door, they rent bikes for 250bt when they go for 100bt in town. We felt a bit cheated by that.

There was a leak in the bathroom which made it smell but it was taken care of. The staff are very nice, speak a little English what I found strange was everyone was wearing scruffy sweatshirts. For such a nice place you'd think they'd provide staff with appropriate warm clothes. It was just a bit odd.

Overall I would recommend the place. We were in the rooms at the back of the property which didn't have as such of a spectular view but they were still nice. The villas looked stunning!

Old & Tired Hotel!

The hotel is in a bad state. The rooms at the main building are old and tired. The bathroom was dirty. The internet didn’t work. All is all it was a bad experience. After complaining to the GM we did get a better room in a villa so the stay wasn’t completely ruined but the hotel is old and tired. Much better places available in Pai for less money.

A Villa with Balcony Overlooking Mountains

The design of the room is great. The balcony overlooking the green slope and mountains are best reasons to stay at Puri Pai Villa. What could be improved is the placement of path lightings to point downwards and dimmer. This will achieve a dark sky to appreciates the darkness of the starlit sky at night. The menu of the breakfast could include 1 or 2 vegetarian options such as avocado mash with sourdough.

At first we really liked it here, so much we booked more nights. But, we have both gotten serious burns from the shower on separate occasions on our backs and they are SO painful. I’m actually literally crying as I write this review bc the burn is so bad on my back and only getting worse. That is an avoidable hazard.

Also the food ok overpriced and below average. The shakes are good though.

But I think when we get home we will have to see doctors about these burns. Thankfully we leave nearby.

Oasis in the mountains

Beautiful property with stunning 180 degree views of the mountains from our villa. Bed and living area was comfortable, clean and relaxing.

There was a bit of a mix up upon check in as we had emailed the property for a room upgrade and thought payment was finalized. Upon check in we had to pay for the room upgrade, the wrong amount was charged and then later refunded and corrected.

All in all we would come back here again. The staff were lovely and the property was stunning!

This is a very pretty property that looks brand new and overlooks a valley outide of Pai. The value for the money of the villas is well worth it. If you are going to Pai and are not working on a backpackers budget, this is a place worth your time to investigate. The staff is super attentive and very friendly but having a little more depth of English speakers would have been nice. Overall, though, a 5 star resort for the area.

Puri-fect Pai!

Amazing place with the BEST view and the most accommodating staff! My 2 friends and I booked the 2 bedroom with a pool and were upgraded to the 3 bedroom which has one of the bedrooms separate from the rest of the villa and it was perfect. The views from all around were magnificent. The shuttle into town runs often and they are flexible with it. The breakfast is also great. They really take care of the property. When I return to Pai I will most definitely return to this hotel.

This Hotel was really good. Good food options with variety. Staff are flexible and laid back. You need transport or use their mountain bikes to explore. Its only 5 minutes drive from Pai, the location is very beautiful. The only problem was the smoke....Thailand has this problem with burning the forest in April. So, if the weather is very dry, the air is not great. Pray for rain and the skys clear!

Were a bit disappointed. On check in I was told the swimming pool closes at 10 p.m. When I went there for a swim in the afternoon, I was told it has been closed temporarily for several days. Then I went to have a shower in our room. In order to realize that it was impossible to set a certain temperature: it was either hot or cold. Having a black coffee in the room was not possible: they only offer the triple premix (coffee+milk+sugar).

Nice Hotel in Country

I like the hotel location -- it is in mountains of Pai, but not too far away from the town. The room is good, but a little bit small. Their staffs are nice, but not very well at English. View is great. Breakfast is great.

Everything was great!

Puri Pai is awesome! Very nice rooms, and the grounds were simply beautiful. Would recommend to anyone. Close to the walking street and anything else, just rent a motorbike and everything easy to see.

Comfort room, great views, bad shower

Room is beautifully designed. Comfort bed. Beautiful views from the large balcony.
The swimming pool is small but the area around it is very nice with a lot of sofas and puffs, very comfort for relax while looking and the green views.
Location is about 7 km from the city that mean that you need your own transportation(i rented a car in Chiang mai) or relay on the transportation that the resort provide.
Breakfast is just average.
A few negatives: wi-fi is very weak and the most annoying is the the hot water in the shower, it jump from cold to super hot in cycles of every few second, made it hard mission to take a shower, i took a star from the total score because of this, i hope everyone will do the same if this problem will not fixed.

Pros and cons

My boyfriend and i stayed here for 5 nights in a deluxe king bed room.

Cons:
- wifi in the rooms were really weak (had to go to the lobby or by the pool to get better WiFi)
- last 2 nights we stayed there, there was no hot water :( had to shower in cold water
- location is kinda far from the center compared to other resorts (~10 minute ride)
- VERY expensive restuarant/cafe at the resort
- super expensive breakfast buffet

Pros:
- service was really good, the people working there are super nice and are always available
- the pool area was great, amazing view, peaceful, had a pool table, board games
- they provide a free service to drive you into the center night market from 8:00pm-10:00pm everyday which was nice since their restuarant is so expensive, we usually just ate at the night market :)
- after renting a scooter, the location was not much of a problem, since renting a scooter only costs 150 baht/24 hours
- they provide a free service to drive you to the bus station on the day you check out
- they provide snacks in your room on the daily basis :) (including: chips, nuts, ovaltine, coffee, tea, Pepsi, coke and bottled water)
- ROOMS: clean, comfortable, modern, glass window from washroom to the bed, so you can enjoy the mountain view as you shower

Improvements:
- better or more detailed directions/maps when it comes to going to tham lod cave or going to the center

Beautiful Hotel, a little far from town

Great for a romantic honeymoon and if you want to spend some quiet time with your other half or just do some thinking on your own. The room is beautiful, though the normal rooms have no bath tub and the water pressure is weak. View is great. Pool is more for lazing rather than swimming but it's great to sit at the deck to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful mountains.
Did not try the breakfast but it didn't look like a big spread.

Loved everything about this hotel except for the location. Hotel provides a shuttle bus to the night market. It's a 15min drive to town and there's nothing else near it. But having said that, if the point is to just relax and do nothing, this would be the best place :)

Absolutely magical resort in a heavenly location!

We could not recommend this place enough. It is sophisticated yet comfortable. Felt like something out of a magazine rather than far north Thailand! The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was yummy too. The free transfers were a bonus as well as the free shuttle bus into Pai in the evenings. The resort was only 5-10 minutes out of Pai so very easy to access with a motorbike. The pool was fantastic although it's a shame it wasn't an infinity pool out over to the mountains. Regardless, the big lounge chairs were a great place to relax and read a book whilst sipping a cocktail upon sunset. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and so sad we had to leave!!

The villa is a bit outside the town of Pai. By scooter you can get everywhere in 10 minutes. The room was spacious. The hotel was really quiet, the pool was refreshing. The staff was friendly. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud music from a place nearby playing every night.

자주 포토제닉하게 만들어진 숙소입니다. 다만, 너무 사진적으로 예쁘게만 만들어 내서 실제 사용하는데 불편합니다. 예를 들어 욕실에 타월을 걸어 둘만한 곳을 찾기 힘들어 옷걸이에 타월을 걸어 둬야 했습니다. 세면대도 둥들게 되어 있어 막상 사용하는데 불편하고 직원들의 서비스 능력도 탁월하게 미숙합니다. 미리 지불하고 갔음에도 불구하고 다시 지불을 요청하고 몇번이나 미리 냈다고 말을 해도 잘 이해를 못합니다. 그리고는 다음날 아침에는 조식 포함이라 조식을 하고 있는데 와서는 조식이 불포함이라고 지불 요청하기래 또 예약 확인서을 찾아서 보여 줘야 했습니다. 직원들이 너무 미숙합니다. 게다가 객실에선 두명이 사용하는데 타월을 딱 2장만 지급을 해서 추가로 달라고 이야기를 해야 했습니다. 사진적으로는 괜찮아 보이긴 했지만.... 비추천 호텔입니다.
