Brilliant hotel. It's the second time I have stayed there. Always a pleasure! The breakfast was amazing! Great mini bar. I did not have time to try the pool in the end, as I went to Vita Sol. Next time! The first receptionist was lovely, very welcoming. The second one was not so good, but all in all 10 out of 10. The hotel could do with a slight revamp as it's showing its age, worn carpets etc. But still a great hotel

Quiet, secluded old nostalgia style hotel which might not be to everyone’s taste, but I I personally found it quite charming. The restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast plentiful.

But... If you want a bit of 70's retro this place is fabulous. It even had the 1970's smell. It has a fantastic location in the town and I love it.
Brown, brass, marble and teak wood set against bold carpets. Don't let the pictures online put you off. And don't worry about those temperamental credit card door entry pads here... good old fashioned keys that you leave at reception. How awesome 😎
The bathroom tiles are so 70's... They scream Beatles, Rolling Stones and Abba all at once. But... They look brand new... Absolutely immaculate. The bathroom sink is so large you could swim in it.
This was a fantastic nostalgic throw back to simpler times and if the management have got anything about them they should market it that way.
It has all modern facilities i.e., pool, WiFi etc for the kids. We stayed whilst visiting friends in the town so it was a base rather than a resort per se.

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend event being held onsite. Lovely little property, very friendly staff who were gracious and accommodating. Free garage parking. Quaint town center very walkable from hotel. The property is a bit dated, but very clean. Rooms have mini-fridge, comfortable beds. Although the Hotels.com website says it has air condition, please note that there is no AC in this building.

Since we arrived by car after 10pm, the parking was closed and we had to park in the nerby streets. This was ok, but we had to move it before 8pm in the morning.

Have to say I felt very comfortable at this hotel. It wasn't the all modern and gleaming types we expect today, but in a way it was comforting and reassuring. Admittedly the rooms by today's standards were dated, yes the old box tv...but the option to have a range of english television channels gave an extra bonus. Everything was clean, functional and did not disappoint. Special mention has to go to the restaurant, I dined there twice, mention to the restaurant staff especially Alexander a true professional, thank you. I was in the area on business, yes I'd stay there again, and for the money, great value. Ignore that you are in 2015... It feels 1980's...but that need not be a bad thing!

Nice Hotel and very quiet
Stayed in this hotel for 1 night with 2 collegues and we had booked 3 rooms. We were a bit worried about getting into the hotel as our flight was late and we didn't arrive at the hotel to 11.45p.m but it stated on the website that the hotel closed the reception at 10pm. When we arrived there was a very friendly staff member to greet us and give us our keys. The room were very clean and the hotel was extremely quiet. Rooms has pay per view English movies. The breakfast was excellent as well. The only minor negative thing We could say was the wifi was a bit slow but as long as your aren't looking to stream movies it is fine. After reading some bad reviews about this hotel I am not sure what there was to complain about as all of us were very happy with it and would definitely use it again in the future.

Je n'ai encore jamais été dans un hôtel aussi désuet, démodé, figé dans le temps. J'avais l'impression d'être dans un épisode de Derrick dans les années 80. Tout est vieux. Que ce soit les couloirs, la chambre, l'espace sauna, la piscine ... Ca sent le renfermé et le gris aussi.
Je ne comprends même pas comment Maritim peut proposer un hotel comme ça au 21ème siècle. Nous sommes en 2025 et plus en 1979.
Surtout à un prix aussi exorbitant ! C'est juste indécent.
La chambre est proposée à près de 150 € la nuit avec petit déjeuner.
Ca ne vaut même pas la moitié.
On peut trouver des hotels magnifiques, modernes avec espace spa et piscine sans problème à 120-130 €.
L'hotel nécessite urgemment une rénovation de fond en comble. En attendant je le déconseille fortement.

Et lidt ældre hotel, men gennemgående OK niveau mht. værelser, indretning og faciliteter. Ligger tæt på Vitasol Therme og Kurpark, som var vores egentlige mål med opholdet. Klientellet er overvejende pensionist+ segmentet på kurophold. Så der er ikke meget liv i kludene, men det gælder i det hele taget for Bad Salzuflen. Trods en enkelt dårlig oplevelse i restauranten kan hotellet anbefales, det er god værdi for pengene.

Maritim Hotels sind ein name und das merkt man. Das hotel ist schön, schon älter aber die Zimmer sind top, badezimmer sind etwas alt von der optik her aber mit badewanne, waschbecken wo auch ein kopf zum Haare waschen passt. Man darf nicht vergessen es ist nicht günstig aber für ein maritim in einem kurort ist es schon seeeehr human. Der teich ist schön, ideal zum spazieren sehr ruhig und angenehmen. Die stadt selber ist nicht gerade mein Favorit aber das erkennt man sicher auch bei google maps wenn es gefällt. Tipicos, spielos sind auf jeden fall da. Hat aber nichts mit dem Hotel als solches zu tun.
Postiv ist mir aufgefallen das abends eine feier für renter durchgeführt wurde, dieses hat mein herz bewegt.! Fand ich wirklich toll, die leute hatten augenschein spaß .! Weiter so gerne wieder .!

Zimmer sauber aber klein. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Hotelgarage meist durch Zubringer LKWs behindert. 2. Garage etwas vom Hoteleingang entfernt.

Ich bin bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel und bin immer wieder begeistert von der Freundlichen Atmosphäre dem tollen Frühstück. Die Mitarbeiter geben sich die größte Mühe den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar, direkt am Kurpark und 10 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt. Wenn es auch nicht das modernste Hotel ist, ich würde jederzeit wieder übernachten es lohnt sich wirklich, für mich perfekt. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, jedoch ist sie in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war schon recht betagt, und es roch schrecklich nach geschmolzenen Plastik. Ansonsten war alles wirklich gut und ein Kellner, der in der Ausbildung war, war herausragend. Der Speisesaal ist sehr opulent und erinnert an die alte Bäderkultur. Ich habe den Aufenthalt darin sehr genossen. Wir kommen wieder würden allerdings beim nächsten Mal ein anderes Zimmer haben wollen, sollte es noch mal so intensiv dort riechen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes und rechhaltiges Frühstück, Toplage am Kurpark. Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Parkgebühren relativ hoch (15,-€) Man kann aber versuchen in den Seitenstraßen einen Parkplatz zu finden. In der Straße direkt vor dem Hotel ist parken nur begrenzt möglich

Außen Beton, innen Palast, Legendär, das architektonische Konzept dieser ersten Maritim-Hotels! Und eins davon steht in Bad Salzuflen. Uns hat das nostalgische Maritim-Ambiente sehr gut gefallen. Fast alle Hotels haben ihre Möblierung und Ausstattung dem neuesten Trend angepasst und sind somit fast nicht mehr voneinander zu unterscheiden. Hier hat man das Gefühl, Urlaub wie in den siebziger, bzw. achtziger Jahren zu machen und fühlt sich in diese Zeit, wie z. B. ins Maritim-Hotel Travemünde (damals eines der edelsten Hotels in Deutschland) zurückversetzt.
Die Betten und auch das Bad entsprechen absolut dem heutigen Komfort. Da wir selbst zur Generation 65 gehören, passten wir zum Altersdurchschnitt der anderen Gäste. Auch der Kurort ist ja überwiegend auf diese Generation eingestellt. Das Maritim- Hotel passt gut in diesen Ort, zumal die Lage direkt am Kurpark perfekt ist.
Die Betten und auch das Bad entsprechen absolut dem heutigen Komfort. Da wir selbst zur Generation 65 gehören, passten wir zum Altersdurchschnitt der anderen Gäste. Hotel in sehr guter Lage tollen Service und freundlichen Personal, Frühstück sehr gut. Der Kurpark ist in unmittelbarer Nähe zum spazieren, joggen ideal. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, für mich kein Problem, Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Die Bude, vor allem das Bad hat schon 5 Jahrzehnte gesehen und sollte langsam mal erneuert werden , dass man keine Mischbatterie hat kenne ich aus Kindeszeiten schon nicht mehr .
Die Zimmer sind ok würde ich mal sagen allerdings ist am schlafen ab kurz nach 6 nicht mehr zu denken , gerade wenn man in der Nähe des Aufzuges schläft dröhnt der durch die Wände .
Ab 22.00 kommt man nicht mehr in die Tiefgarage und kann sich was an der Straße suchen . Das „ Fitness“ beinhaltet 3 Olle Geräte .
Das Personal ist der einzigste Lichtblick , da sehr freundlich.

Rigtig dejligt hotel, som vi lige har besøgt for tredje gang. Hotellet ligger centralt i et roligt område. Dejlige værelser, imødekommende og venlig betjening. Hotellet ligger i en dejlig kurby, hvor der er mange ting for astmatikere. Skal der være lidt kritik: Vi bliver træt af aftenbuffet en uge i træk, og derfor er det godt med mange spisesteder i byen. Samlet set giver vi hotellet de bedste anbefalinger.
