Outstanding breakfast. Great service. Appreciated the free upgrade. Clean room with full complement of amenities (bath robes, slippers, shaving kit etc). Excellent location in the middle of Bourbon Madrid near the Paza del Sol, Thyssen Museum and the Prado. Highly recommend.

Hotel is beautiful. Accept there is Contruction going on . I didn't like the noise and worker walking around my room, and room keys were not working everyday.
AC wasn't working either. Overall only hotel by itself is pretty.

The room was spotless, modern and was thoughtfully laid out. Many nice touches including a Dyson hair dryer. Most notable was the pleasant, highly efficient and courteous staff. The lovely women at the front desk, the young gentlemen who took care of luggage and arranging taxis, the waitstaff in the breakfast room and restaurant and the maids and cleaning staff could not have been better.
Hotel Regina was a super positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

A great central hotel in Madrid in the best location you can find with a really good price for the room for where it is. We really enjoyed our stay here. My only note is that we expected the hotel to provide grapes for new year midnight celebration as most hotels in spain do.
I wish the lobby was bigger but that is not possible due to the building shape.

I have stayed in several hotels in Madrid but Hotel Regina has always been my best place. The true sign of caring about your customers is not when things are going well, it's when issues arrive. We were placed in a room where the heating did not work. I contacted the front desk and someone was sent to try and fix it- Gonzalo. After 30 minutes or so there was no change so I had to follow up with front desk. I was initially told that I couldn't move rooms because of availability and the manager had agreed to give us a portable heater and free dinner in the adjoining restaurant. I did not agree to this for two reasons. I had just arrived from USA on a long flight and the amount of money I paid per night to stay here. The resolution had to be different. Eventually we were given the opportunity to move to an upgraded room for 1 night but told we would have to move back once the situation was fixed. It was a little annoying but I was quite alright with 2nd option. I must say that through the entire encounter, Gonzalo was amazing!! He was empathetic, forth coming and assisted us with leaving and returning to our original room. I never spoke or saw the manager. I was only being provided info through the front desk or him. I still enjoyed my stay despite the situation. Breakfast is always one of the best parts of the stay and the hotel Christmas decorations was top notch. The outside decor was a hit! Great hotel in walking distance to the major attractions. Beautifully decorated for Christmas inside and outside. The room was clean and not too small. Delicious breakfast, one of the best ones we’ve had in the hotels when traveling. There’s a restaurant next to the hotel as well as coffee shops and shopping. Will stay again, highly recommend.

The location is top tier. There are so many things to do as soon as you step out of the hotel. The room was clean and nice. Everything that I needed was within arms reach. I decided to save the best for last, the staff. The staff was wonderful from the second that I arrived. I felt as if they took a special interest in making my stay as pleasurable as possible.
