Second time we have stayed at the Princess and it never fails to deliver, friendly and professional staff, excellent rooms, beach beds are extremely comfortable.
The local restaurants offer an extensive selection of local cuisine and wines, all of which were really good, loved the cocktails in both Green Park and La Plantinas and special shout out to Jimmys

Hotel was ok but a little dated for a 5 star. Staff were all good and helpful. They even got a pump to pump up a punctured scooter tyre. The sausages bacon eggs beans tomatoes mushrooms and potatoes were cold every morning no matter what time you went to breakfast. At £250 per night for B and B this is unexceptable.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and inviting especially Eva. She reached out before our trip in order to help us reserve transportation, dinner reservations and activities. Our driver Vasilis was very helpful and kind. The property has everything you need to relax, enjoy some delicious meals and take advantage of the spa, sporting activities, the pool and beautiful beach.

The hotel is beautiful, staff are extremely friendly & English is very well spoken here.
There is a bus literally outside the hotel that takes you into Skiathos town where you can dine & shop for hours.

The only criticism would be the bathrooms we stayed in the 300’s & they are very dated quite awkward with a double folding glass door.

Apart from that extremely clean & very organised hotel with beautiful beach a stones through away

Tired 4 star hotel but with a lovely beach.

A very average stay, if it wasn't for the lovely beach and comfortable beach beds i would be fairly disappointed with this hotel. I had read other reviews so when we arrived and it was a very tired 4 star not 5 star i wasn't over surprised. I found most of the staff really friendly and helpful. Only came across one rude member of staff and I think he was the beach bar manager (tall guy with glasses and swept back hair) he was very rude and unhelpful. We paid extra for a private swimming pool but didn’t use it as it was filthy. My biggest problem with the hotel was the design of the shower, placed half way up the bath with a screen behind you so you could hardly move and when you did move the screen moved and flooded the floor (very strange design). Hotel in a pretty decent location with nice beaches and tavernas near by.

This is the perfect hotel for spending holidays in Skiathos. Perfect location on an excellent sandy beach with comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas allocated only for the hotel customers. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Took advantage of the beach side restaurant location to walk to dinner and have drinks. It was great. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Skiathos.

Great hotel with beautiful private beach

It was our second stay at Skiathos Princess. Our first stay a few years ago was fantastic, but this one didn’t match the same expectations unfortunately. While the hotel has an amazing potential and a great beach and garden, it starts to feel a bit outdated. Nothing that can’t be fixed of course. The design, especially the bathrooms, are quite outdated.
The food at the restaurant was very good, but again, not excellent as the previous time. The same goes for the service.
But overall we had a great stay and I’d still recommend the hotel. It would be great if they would consider an overall renovation and update of the property. We’ll definitely come back.

Overall very good hotel. Fantastic location with direct access to a private beach. Good food especially the beach restaurant. Superior deluxe room great for a family of 4 as it’s effectively 2 rooms in 1. Service was a bit disappointing but heard that’s common across Greece this year due to COVID.

There are a handful of restaurants within close walking distance + a supermarket + ATM. Only snag is you have to cross road which can be tricky with children as hotel is on the bend.

The Princess Hotel is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous ocean views. Staff were very professional and accommodating as we wanted to add a few extra days. They took care of this swiftly. Helen in the spa was also very friendly. Gréât buffet in the morning ! Would definitely return next year for a longer stay.

Drinks on the pricy side was the only downside so we went elsewhere in the evenings and the bars in the hotel were empty. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definanetly go back if visiting Skiathos

This was my second stay at the Skiathos Princess Hotel. It is nice but not great. The rooms are somewhat dated. Stay here if you are looking to spend most of your time at the beach. Its about 20 minutes from town. The pool was cold and some of the equipment at the gym was broken. I had a massage and facial at the spa. Massage ok, facial consisted mostly of masques technician would apply and then leave for 10 minutes at a time. The beach restaurant had nice ambiance and very good service. The staff was very attentive. Front desk was not a favorable experience.

Great hotel and great location right on the beautiful beach. The only thing that lets it down and it is a big let down is the in room air con. It is centrally controlled but nowhere near efficient enough. The lowest temperature the room got to overnight was 26.5 degrees which makes it pretty impossible for a good nights sleep. Rectify this big issue and the place would be perfect

Spent a week at this hotel in June 2019. The food served in the Main restaurant was of excellent quality and there was so much to choose from. The staff were very welcoming and polite. We Stayed in a standard garden room which was ideal for us as we had a small child.
Cleanliness of the Hotel was very good.
Plenty of sun beds surrounded the outside pools and having the lovely sandy beach with sun beds and parasols provided by the Hotel was only a short walk away.
The only downside we found was the lack of evening entertainment.

Recent stay - good value

Difficult to tell how good the hotel was since I had a room which wasn't yet upgraded. Hence the room was old and needed a complete remodel, but since it was the lowest category room the new owners haven't done the work yet. The staff were great, especially the front desk manager who knew guests names somehow. The beach has ample chairs, they serve a fantastic breakfast, and the beach restaurant is delicious. Good value for the price.

Our wonderful experience

The hotel is in a lovely position with gardens and restaurants leading Onto the beach and oool area.
There is a pool Bar and a beach Bar which supply a good selection of snacks or meals.
Upon our arrival our room had a bath with a shower over the bath, this wasn’t ideal for me as I have Fibromyalgia and have difficulty getting in and out of the bath. When I let the hotel know my situation they moved us immediately to a room which had a walk in shower. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel manager Amd the hotel reception Manager went out of their way to check on us each day. the Manager was often seen walking the grounds and in the hotel which you don’t see very often in other hotels. All the staff were friendly and polite and always on hand.
The Beach was clean and well looked after anyone not belonging to the hotel trying to use the hotel beds were quickly removed and sent back to the public beach area. There is also a little shop on the beach which is handy if you don’t want to walk to the beach bar you can purchase most items and drinks. Would recommend the hotel to everyone just make sure when you book you let them know if you have problems with stairs or getting into a bath and they will make sure you have an appropriate room. The hotel is open to all ages from young families with children to old retired travellers.

his is not a 5 star hotel at all. The staff is truly incompetent. There is NO working WIFI. Be warned. There is no one to press/iron a suit jacket. The seating by the beach is worn out and broken. The AC leaks. The pillows and bed are hard as rocks. The rooms are dated from 10 years ago. TThe shower are old and just bathtubs with shower heads attached.

Hotel is tired and the staff, particularly the doorman and manager are a disgrace. We were abused for getting into a taxi that we ordered and was never apologised to. We met with the manager who said that the doorman had been there for 15 years and English was a problem! Funny that we had not been treated like that at any other hotel in 6 weeks of being in Italy and Greece!! They had several opportunities to redeem themselves and chose just to be rude.. the last opportunity was that we left a top on the balcony and they want 65 euro to forward it on... Unfortunately for us this ruined our experience in Skiathos as we could not even go through the front entrance as we were frightened of the doorman. So I suggest you stay at another hotel.

Nice Hotel, close to the beach

The hotel presents a magnificent image and is clean and elegantly furnished. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful. There is a wonderful pool area and the hotel is close to the beach. The reason that the comfort rating above is only 3 is because the beds in our twin-bedded room had incredibly hard mattresses which brought on a recurrence of a shoulder problem for my wife. The hotel also seems not to be prepared for bad weather as, unfortunately, it rained quite a lot during our four-night stay and the cushions on the beach loungers and the poolside loungers were never moved out of the rain or covered up to protect them. The result was that, when the sun did peep out, the canvas beach cushions were so damp that it seeped through to one's towels when sitting on them. The plastic covers on the poolside cushions were left wet on top in the mornings and the insides made them like a cold waterbed to sit or lie upon.

Great hotel right on the beach

Everything that you want here for a relaxing holiday. We went 2nd week of September and had a deluxe room (474) - great view from the balcony, with shower and bath. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast with the fold-back doors so even if you couldn't get a outside table then you felt you were outside anyway........and a good choice of food. Lots of comfortable places to site, excellent beach bar and the best part of the hotel was strolling through the lawns onto the beach where there were a plentiful supply of beds and parasols. Water sports on the public beach next door - a stroll away for the energetic. Soft sand and beautiful clear water.....pretty good for snorkelling too!
Bus stop (no 16) 50 yards from hotel which will take you along the main road....either all the way to Koukanaries beach (26) or Skiathos town (4 or 1) ...both of which are only about 15 mins journey....or anywhere inbetween....and run every 15 mins. 1.6EUR single - pay on bus....which can get pretty crowded at peak times

Lovely hotel in fab location close to the beach

Had a really good week's stay as a family anniversary. Rooms were really good (we had a garden villa on the ground floor). Service was excellent as was the breakfast! Every choice you could ask for including freshly made pancakes and omelettes. Very clean pool close to the beach. Could hardly fault the hotel at all.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel during August and found all facilities with the exception of the patchy Wifi to be excellent.

The staff in the cafe and restaurants could have been friendlier.

Would recommend that guests dine in the surrounding Taverna's for great quality, low cost meals.

Great hotel located directly on the beach. We had a balcony room with partial sea view. A few great restaurants are across the stress within 3 min walk. The only complaint I had was the wifi did not work. Usually this wouldn't bother me but we were there for a wedding and needed to keep in contact for meeting points etc. the hotel tried multiple times to reset the router but the internet is just not great here.

Nice hotel, good for families with younger kids

Nice hotel with generally friendly staff.
Has a great layout for kids/families in communal areas with everything at beach level. So there's a large are from restaurant/bar/gardens/pool/beach all at one level and within your eyesight for them to roam.

If you select a garden room there would be no steps/climbs involved. Most other hotels are perched up on the hillsides so you have to walk down to the beach and back up again.

There's a supermarket opposite and several restaurants in the area, although we largely are in the resort.

Wifi was poor. Not working at all most of the day.

A real easy holiday with a toddler

Great pool and beach, so close to hotel, easy to be out all day with a lively two year old boy. Food (half board) and ambience amazing. Could improve on cereal options perhaps. Would be nice to actually get queen size bed and not two single beds stuck together, but this may be a Greece-wide problem(?)

Skiathos Princess Hotel -Agia Paraskevi

I recently stayed here with my partner for a week mid September and while we had a really lovely and most enjoyable holiday we did have a few general issues with the hotel and wouldn't really choose to stay here again.
The hotel is as other have suggested not a 5* as we would know it and I have stayed in other 5* hotels on Greek islands to be able to compare. We did book a garden room but were given a lovely sea view room with a balcony looking out to sea and certainly we were happy on our arrival with the room.
The hotel lobby was nice and we were welcomed by friendly staff but there was no welcome drink as normally given but not a big thing, check in was so quick and easy and we were in our room within minutes of arrival.
We soon went to explore and found the restaurant, bars and wondered down to the beach area. First impressions was a nice pool area and beach with plenty of loungers for guests but the cushions & parasols did look a bit tired. We decided to have a drink at the beach bar which was pleasant but we did wait some time to be served despite the few guest there (mid afternoon) and in the end had to find a waiter to serve us, I would think it more of an issue peak season.
We were booked half board so we ate in the restaurant which is a buffet. I was expecting a lot more choice at the buffet in a 5* hotel and we actually found it very difficult to find anything which appealed to us from the main course selection, in fact it was awful for a first impression. The star

Gorgeous setting stunning bay and beach

Gorgeous hotel, stunning beach, clean water, immaculate hotel- loved the beach cafe and pool bar, but took ages for order to arrive and they continually got our coffee with cold milk wrong- on the last day they got it right-honestly! They were very chilled and apologetic when they forgot your order but I would have expect a refund for the wait-which was sometimes an hour. Our room was ok-bathroom old fashioned and a terrible electrical noise in our room-we did complain and were moved 3 days after complaining. The air conditioning was noisy and so the electrical noise just blended in with that but as soon as air con off noise was unbearable. This was room number 224. We did not complain initially as the hotel staff and hotel relations staff had told us they were fully booked and no other rooms were available as we checked in. Fantastic Retreat

It was an emergency choice due to a different hotel canceling our booking without cause or notice. Loved it except the tiled floors felt sandy under foot. Also their \"regular\" prices seem outrageous so thankfully the last minute opt-in meant we could stay there.

Breakfast was first class though and the setting of the option of the ocean or the swimming pool was stunning.

Good hotel but lacks the five-star wow factor

We stayed here for three nights with our toddler. While it is a good hotel, it lacks the five-star wow factor for the following reasons:
-rooms need to be renovated. We stayed in the \"old\" part of the hotel, and the room was adequate but blah. bathtub and toilet were clean but looked run-down.
-beach and beach bar staff service. We had to get up and walk to the beach bar every time for drinks, food, equipment rental. Normally at a five-star hotel the staff is tripping over themselves to assist you. Not here.
-overall lounge and pool bar decor. It just didn't give off the five-star luxe vibe. The entire common area could use a good freshening up. The flooring at the pool bar looks very worn and old.
-lack of proper playground for the kiddies. There was a plastic swing and I think a slide. That's it. It was rather tired looking. There are enough little kids staying at the hotel to warrant a full-scale children's playground.

The good:
-breakfast is nice and the staff is excellent to serve you coffee, omelettes, crepes, etc. with a nice buffet
-pool and beach are lovely and very convenient to the hotel (75m for the beach)
-food at the pool and beach bar and restaurant are quite good
-hotel is very clean

Not of a five star hotel standard

Very cold welcoming, upon arrival we were shown our room, mini bar, keys and that was it. No information about restaurants, where breakfast is served, kids facilities etc
The room was v small for four people and the bathroom quite dated.
not particularly kids friendly. On a few occasions, there was not a space available at the hotels beach and no one was interested to help substantially.
The playground was very basic and I'm not sure it was very safe for kids as some of the equipment was broken, rusty and unstable.
In general, youd have to ask for any kind of information and some of the staff were not very willing to take the extra mile.

Although the outdoor aesthetics looked pleasing, it was a deception to the sad reality of the accommodation, in other words, far from the 5 star rating they have given themselves!
Charging Greek island 5 star prices, this should be downgraded to 3.

Great Hotel

Can't fault this hotel a lot so ill summarise as friendly staff (predominantly), beautiful location on the beach and a bus ride from the town, and good facilities.

Only things I'd like improved upon are:
Babysitting can't be charged to the room (this caused us hassle on our last day!)
Wifi didn't work for us 4 out of our 7 days, which was a big dissapointment with it being needed.

fab hotel,with fab everything!! food,pool,beach,gardens,rooms,staff,location ...bar a bit quiet-but Iguana bar just over the road ,compensates...!! bus stop outside the hotel for skiathos town and the amazing Koukinaries beach in the other direction.Recommend the posiedon mamma mia boat trip and follow up with the open air showing of the movie-its a right laugh (and got a bar!!)i'm a massive skiathos convert-luuurrved it !!

Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, der Blick aufs Meer wunderbar. Baulich war es in einem zufriedenstellenden, aber nicht großartigen Zustand. Die Balkonmöblierung war sehr einfach. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber fachlich bestanden leider Mängel. Damit kann man das Hotel auf ***+, nicht aber auf ***** einordnen. Unter diesem Gesichtspunkt ist es überteuert. Die Insel Skiathos ist sehr schön und sehr grün, also unbedingt besuchenswert. Das gastronomische Angebot in der Umgebung des Hotels war ausgezeichnet.

Struttura molto vecchia, camera assolutamente da 4 stelle, asciugamani vecchi e sciupati, phon attaccato al muro, tv microscopica, nemmeno acqua nel frigo bar, non c’erano asciugamani piccolini , bicchieri per sciaquarsi i denti , sala colazione e colazione da 4 stelle non da 5.
Personale davvero gentile e ben preparato, spiaggia bella e ben tenuta, ristorante della spiaggia bello e di qualità .

Tolle Lage direkt am Meer mit sandigem Privatstrand und kostenlosen Sonnenliegen und Strandtüchern, die am Poolareal abzuholen sind.
Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt…eine Omelette- und Pfannkuchenstation, sowie griechische Spezialitäten und internationale Optionen. Einfach traumhaft.

Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen. Lediglich 15 Minuten Autofahrt nach Skiathos Stadt und Hafen und ca. 20 Minuten zum Flughafen. Die Straßen befinden sich in einem top Zustand und sich leicht mit Auto/Roller/Quad zu befahren. Eine Bushaltestelle befinden sich ebenso in der Nähe Richtung Skiathos/Flughafen und Koukounaries Beach, sowie eine Vielzahl an Retaurants.

Einziger Punkteabzug wäre die Sauberkeit im Zimmer. Da gibt es definitiv Bedarf nach oben!

Trevligt hotell med enkel tillgång till solstolar

Perfekt hantering av vår incheckning. Som Guld-medlem på Hotels.com så fick vi både tidig incheckning och uppgraderat rum till juniorsvit.
Rummet var stort och fint. Något hårda sängar. Bra kuddar. Hotellet är inte renoverat på ett tag och lite slitet men allt fungerade som det ska. Frukosten är relativt omfattande och generös, men hade inte riktigt det utbud som vi önskade. Utbud av bröd, pålägg, ostar och frukt skulle kunna vara roligare. Lyxigt med både pannkaks- och omelettstation. Stort utbud kakor och liknande, men inte något som vi verkligen tyckte var bra. Fungerande gym (men lite begränsat) som vi använde varje dag.
Bra pool och strand och alltid tillgång till solstolar.
Nära till bra restauranger.

Very nice stay. The gardens and the swimming pool near the beach are super pleasant. We enjoyed the restaurant near the beach for lunch and dinner. The personnel and service are very kind.
The rooms are ok but bathrooms needs to be refreshed and door not soundproofed from the corridor.

Séjour de 3 jours
Cet hôtel est un 5⭐️ et c’est ce que laisse présager l’accueil quand on arrive.
Mais après côté chambre et équipement on est loin du standing attendu. Les bâtiments comme les chambres mériteraient d’être rafraîchis.
La literie est bonne, mais les salles de bain sont désuètes. Quand on a encore un bidet dans les équipements on sait de quand ça date. Ici donc, ça date.
Côté restauration, la grande salle de restauration pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner est correcte. La nourriture y est basique et convenable.
On préférera le restaurant de la plage qui a plus de charme et plus de variétés.
La plage est d’ailleurs un des atouts de l’hôtel. La plage privée avec ses parasols et matelas est juste parfaite. Cela évite de crapahuter dans l’île pour trouver l’équivalent. Bien sûr il y a d’autres plages plus charmantes mais celle de l’hôtel reste un excellent compromis.
La piscine est quant à elle très bien. Il y plus de demande que de matelas disponibles, mais il y a l’option plage.
En fin de compte on repars avec un sentiment mitigé. L’hôtel pourrait être dingue avec un coup de remise aux normes et une meilleure occupation des espaces libres.
On repars quand même un peu frustré de cette désuétude qui lorgne sur la décrépitude si rien n’est fait dans les 5 ans à venir.
