There are homeless people who are living in the parking lot. It felt very unsafe.
The room was horrible. The ac/heater was so incredibly loud at night that it was difficult to hear even the tv. The fridge was old and loud.
The bed was HORRENDOUS!!! There were blood stains on the sheets. It was terrible.
The “free breakfast” was a joke. Pre packed foods. Donuts and danishes that stay out all day. Disgusting.
Staff is horribly rude and unfriendly. They are unhelpful and just horrible. Stay elsewhere!!!

We checked in at 10:30 p.m. No problems with that. However, the room was very cold, and there wasn't a way to adjust that. Also, the mattress was so uncomfortable I didn't get any sleep; I was forced to lie on my back rather than on either side. Meanwhile, a dog occasionally barked down the hall, and someone decided to watch TV at a loud volume at around midnight. Painful lesson learned in booking a cheap hotel.

The first room we were given the key card didn’t work~at check in there was some confusion as to what room we were supposed to be in. The card envelope had 213 on it but when Mario handed me the envelope he said 216~it was preassigned before we arrived so we went to 216. I went back downstairs to front desk & he changed us to room 213. We went into 213 & it smelled terrible! It was definitely not a non smoking room. The window was open I’m assuming to air it out but that didn’t do any good as we were later told that’s where people go to smoke~right under our window & there was a bar adjoining with the parking lot & a lot of smoke comes from there as well. Anyways, I went back down to the front desk to see if we could get another room but he was busy checking in someone else so I went back to room 213 & we decided to do a chat with hotels.com to see if we could just get a refund. We just weren’t feeling too good about this hotel. In the parking lot there was a motorhome on blocks with 2 tires missing & it looked like someone was living in it. There was also a car that had no windows in it & a tarp over it. In the chat I was told the hotel would have to approve the refund & she would try to get ahold of the hotel. She tried to call many times but there was no answer. I went back to the front desk to see if we could get a refund & was given the excuse hotels.com has to call us to get a refund & I said they’ve been trying to call,no one answered. And I’m out of space

One of the cleanest hotels I've been in. There was an issue with the shower and the water only being luke warm, but that was a mixer valve issue that i told them about so they can fix it. The water in the sink was hot. I did not appreciate the \"either you pay a $50 deposit on the room or a $5 immediate charge for housekeeping fees. That is ridiculous as the cleaning is not an extra fee unless you tear the room up etc.
Clean room, nice helpful folks, would rather the location was better, but that cant be helped.

Why the opened door?

Theresea was at the desk when I arrived. She was very helpful and pleasant in chatting. She showed me to my room to make sure I could get in. Upon returning from my vehicle with my necessities, I couldn’t get the door to my room open. A guest walking by helped me to open it. It just needed a stronger push to open. I slept well and took a walk around 8:30-ish. There was an odd and loud smell in the hallway when I left. I thought perhaps a soda machine engine or belt had burnt. Upon returning from my walk, my hotel door was open! I saw a lot of police cars and fire trucks surrounding the hotel. I asked the clerk what was going on. She was also pleasant and said someone smelled what I had smelled and reported it, saying they had smelled that before, and it was drugs. I asked the clerk if police were going into guest’s rooms since my door had been open when returning from my walk. She said yes they were. I began to feel unsafe in the building and somewhat violated in my privacy and security. When going out to my vehicle to leave, a guest said it had been his dog that had rolled in something, and the air conditioning carried the smell throughout the building. He said the police had to wait for him to return before they could check his room, yet no one had asked my OK to enter my room while I was on my walk. I let the clerk know. She then said the police didn’t go onto my room. It remains a mystery how my door was open while I was on my walk…A stressor to end the stay.

The property was clean and quiet. However, the TV did not work, and the air conditioner (an old wall unit) did not cool the room at all and was extremely noisy. I finally turned it off and opened the window after dark (I was on the second floor). It helped cool the room and was quiet, so I did get some sleep. Breakfast did not open til 7:30 and that was after the time I needed to leave. The desk clerk did let me grab a yogurt and a couple bottles of water to take with me.

Pretty good little hotel a short drive from downtown Castle Rock. Parking lot was apparently pretty small for the number of guests, got back late from a wedding reception at a friend's house and there were zero parking spaces left.

We had to pay for the whole stay before seeing the room. When we got to the room there was a spot on the bed with hair stuck to it. Truly disgusting. The person did come and change the bedding, but it still made me very uncomfortable.
We had to leave early because of a family emergency and they did refund part of our stay

Stayed here for 2 weeks, when asked for a towel change they were like no we can't exchange towels. Wich is crazy, if I pay 90-100 a night for a room I expect clean towels min everyday. Also check out isn't until 11am and was woke up at 9am almost every morning. And was basically hurased every 5 sec if I was going to pay for another night or not. It WASENT even 9am yet and I've been here for going on 2 weeks. Like give me a break, other then that it was a ok hotel. Small breakfast aswell.

1. The room stunk. Although it was reasonably clean, there were things like multiple cigarette burns on the side of the bathtub, ratty furniture...
2. But the bigger issue was the noise. It was noisy every night until the early hours. I'm not sure what was going on above my room, but it made no sense. It sounded like the incessant moving of furniture. I called the desk, no change. I banged on the ceiling, they banged back. Place is a dump.

Do Not Choose! I am by no means a hotel snob I look for value over amenities. However, this was one of the worst choices I ever made. Upon arrival the room was dated and had duct tape holding a ceiling patch in place. Only one towel in the bathroom and nothing else. When we asked for towels and wash clothes we were told by front desk staff I will have to look I don’t know if we have any clean housekeeping has not been here today. The shower had no water pressure and the shower head was corroded and disgusting. The night shift front desk was more polite and helpful. On two different occasions there was a homeless looking woman sitting in the lobby area eating with a bag of belongings and one time a bicycle. The mattress was beyond worn out and the furniture in the room was all damaged and stained. Not a pleasant experience. I was not expecting a Hilton but this was more along the rent by the hour caliber.

At check in, it was hard to hear clerk. The sign in the lobby states check in is at 1, however we were charged an extra $10 for checking in at 2. The bed was comfortable however, one of the beds had stains on the sheets. There were a few other cleanliness issues. In room fridge was not working. They have tried to spruce up the place with a DuPont overhaul but you can tell it needs some major tlc. Was loud in the middle of the night.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, it was nothing like the description or pictures. This hotel is very unclean as we had baby roaches in our bed and we’re only limited to 3 towels.

I was also offered crack from one of the other guest staying within the hotel.
I had to remove myself from the enviornment without any regard for early check out or refund because u just wanted out of the bad situation

Odd stains on the the comforter, mold on the shower curtain, the AC unit randomly worked and there was several people under the influence of something shouting at the top of their lungs in the hallway. Making threats to one another around 7pm. I wasn't about to listen to that all night so I decided to drive home. Paid $94 to get ready for my event and left. What a waste, 100% do not recommend.

Didn’t realize this “new” hotel chain is actually buying/utilizing old old hotels. Had booked King bed room, none available at check-in. Front desk staff very nice and apologetic. Multi-level hotel but NO elevators- stairway carpet old, uneven with narrow tread width. Hallways narrow, lobby and rooms small. Bed, however, new and very comfortable. Located next door to a bar- noisy fights next door, noisy and fighting in hallways of hotel, dogs barking in hotel until midnight.
