Older facility in need of repair. Low staffing level - front desk was frequently vacant and phone not answered. Staff seem willing but insufficient in number. Low prices are justified. If you need basic, no frills lodging in a place that’s a little worse for the wear, this will suffice and cost less than the others in the Zanesville area.

Staff was first class. Had trouble with my ac in the room i was in, and immediately the front desk lady moved me and upgraded the room to a king bed with jacuzzi. Always very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and delightful. Highly recommend this facility to anyone traveling.

Breakfast was your typical continental breakfast. The only thing hot was is if you made mini waffles or toast. Stayed 5 nights never cleaned room once. Room was clean when arrived but could use a deep cleaning. Pillows and bed just ok. Shower was awesome though. Back door key card lock needs fixed. Never used the pool but looked ok. Some traffic noises and trains at night.

G the staff changed my booking to give me a better discount failed to keep my service dog on the paperwork said it wasn't a big deal then tried to tell me that I was being kicked out because of traffic and my dog because we ordered doordash to eat they kicked us out of our room early called the cops because I asked them why I was being blackballed through Baymont inn they said I'd never be able to rent a room again because I didn't walk my dog on a leash and I also had door dash come to the side door I feel very disrespected they called the police on me made me leave my room early I'd like to have my money back I wasn't happy at all no way shape or form the lady wouldn't even let me use the toaster until 6:00 a.m.

Stopped here for the night to see family. Check in was ok. Woman behind the counter was pleasant and helpful. I was given room #114. I grabbed all my stuff from the car and settled in my room before heading to dinner. I had the tv on for a brief period of time but couldn’t hear what was being said as I could hear the tv from the room next door (#116) loudly and clearly. I had received a text from the hotel telling me that if I needed anything to text them back. So I sent a text stating that the person next to me had their tv up so loud that I could tell them word for word what was being said and that I was going out to dinner in an hour and when I came back if it was still loud I would need to have my room changed. After lying there for 10 minutes I decided to go to the front desk and request a room change. I walked up there and asked the same woman that had checked me in if I could have a new room as the person next to me had the tv up so loud (my text had never been answered). She responded “oh yeah, every time she’s here we get noise complaints”. My immediate thought was “why did you put her where she would have someone in a room next to her” but I didn’t say a word. She gave me a new room next to a woman w a beagle and thankfully the rest of the night was nice and quiet. Both rooms were clean, beds comfortable w plenty of pillows. Breakfast was ok, waffle machine broken so I had cereal and an apple.

I was very disappointed with the smaller room compared to what I booked. Also pool was closed, having a pool was the reason I chose this hotel.
When I discussed concerns with manager she said I would get a 10% discount sent to my credit card.

That credit never came to my account. This was a very disappointing experience.
Poor management that lies to customers.
Not more Baymounts in my future.

We were in town for one night to visit family. Didn’t check in till 10:30 PM, but the manger was quick and courteous. I didn’t book a king suite, but somehow we ended up in one! We loved the space. Our room was right by the stairwell, which led straight to the breakfast room. We needed a place to sleep for one night, and Baymont did the job

We had bed bugs in our bed. When we realized the next morning, they did allow us to move to another room to get ready. But there was a dead bed bug on the floor in the new room as well. I asked for a refund and they said someone would reach out to me. Overall the hotel was dirty. There was debris on the floors. The furniture and carpets were stained.

Dirty and outdated hotel with old carpet smells

Hotel was severely outdated. Bad smells, dirty carpets, old furniture, no elevator, small breakfast eating area, very overcrowded during breakfast time. It looks like it was an afterthought! Clearly not designed for an eating space. One room had an old dresser and the drawers wouldn’t stay closed so we had to turn it around towards the wall to keep the drawer closed because we kept bumping into it. The outlets were old and couldn’t keep the plug in it. Clearly not Wyndhams best! I guess they are trying to upgrade the place but they haven’t gotten to it all yet. It’s old tv’s and furniture piled under the stairs. Spiderwebs everywhere in the stairwells. Keycards had to be reprogrammed several times a day. The other room smelled like cigarette smoke and an ashtray,the bathroom looked like they needed some repairs, like it was cleaned to the best of their ability and it was still dirty (worn out) the night latch on the door was broken off, the carpeting needs to be removed and replaced with laminate or something else because it is holding all the odors of its past!!! I tried to get another hotel but they wanted $400 for 2 nights and I wasn’t going to do that because we needed 2 rooms. Service was ok, but the guy that was at the front desk was a creep and very weird. He just kept watching us and popping up outside when we were out sitting at the worn out table in the back of the building. I told him he was a creep and he didn’t even care.

The room had the following deficiencies: Bathroom- sink did not adhere to wall, was tilted, smoke detector was missing with only wires handing out of the ceiling, bathroom towel rod was broken so they used a luggage rack to hold all towels in the room. Outlet in bathroom was painted over the safety button, poor water pressure from shower head. The breakfast area did not offer any COLD WATER unless you paid for it. I have pictures of all the deficiencies. Makes \"Wyndam\" look very poor. I am a member and sad to say.

it was an average room, mine personally seemed pretty clean, the breakfast was good, close enough to everything. was here for 5 days to see a friend and my stay was overall a very pleasant one. staff was wonderful from the moment i walked in! the only real complaint is the pool. we went swimming my second day there, and it tasted like straight salty sweat, with clumps of hair everywhere around the pool. otherwise the stay was great

The hotel is a bit worn. I'm giving it low stars because, quite frankly, there are no decent hotels in Zanesville. That's a fact. This hotel felt safe. It was full of construction workers and it's at the side of a major highway. Despite being jam packed with workers, the place was really quiet at night. I also felt like I didn't have anything to worry about because the property was full of workers. Parking lots with construction trucks are not the best bets for break-ins. The experience was not bad, but again, Zanesville is a stop along the highway. It is not a sparkling tourists' attraction.

Ordered the jacuzzi room. When we got in the room, it still looked pretty dirty. There was stains on the lamp and it was broken, trim was falling off the walls, marker on the floor/mirror/sink, the sink didn’t drain very well, and there were hair and pubes left in the shower. I went to the front desk to address the issues so they were aware that we didn’t cause the damages and charge us. The said they’d send someone up to fix and clean. When we got back all that was “fixed/cleaned” was they replaced the light bulb in the broken lamp and took the wall trim that fell off. Everything else was the same. The walls are grungy and dirty and so are the doors.

When we first got into the room it was hot tried to get the AC to work which if you sat on top of it would be ok. But if you was anywhere else it was hot, the sink wouldn’t drain, the tub had the vent hanging off of it, floor’s was so dirty that if you walked in your bare feet your feet would be dirty. One of the people working the desk called twice saying the people under us was complaining about are grandkids to going out it was the lazy person working the desk since we was over them. We came 12 hours like we have at other hotels to see kids and grandkids never had a problem other than this place. So we will never stay there again will pay more to go to holiday inn since we do this every month and the other two families that’s going to come with us will not stay here either! So I guess this place doesn’t like to make money it needs updated also but like everyone else says it won’t

I received the check-out message this morning at 8 AM, three hours before check-out time. I know it’s meant to be helpful, but it actually made me feel quite unwelcome – as if the message was more about getting rid of me than about making my departure smoother.

I’ve been traveling around the country for nearly two months now, and I’ve noticed this is a recurring pattern in many hotels. It might be worth taking a moment to consider what this feels like from the guest’s perspective.

For many travelers, mornings are the only quiet moments in the middle of a long journey. A message that early – even if polite – can feel like a nudge out the door instead of a warm farewell. A softer tone or later timing might go a long way in making guests feel appreciated all the way to the end of their stay.

Generally liked this property and the desk staff, especially given the very competitive cost. . My only complaint relates to the continental breakfast. We didn't eat at the break of day, but was well before the breakfast area was supposed to close. There was little left for us to eat, and nobody seemed to be in charge or responsible to restock any of the food. A simple thing, but needs to be addressed.

The lock on our hotel room door was broken which was pretty scary considering the door in from the parking lot was also broken making it very easy for people to come and go as they pleased... I will add that we weren't the only ones in our group staying at this hotel that had issues. Every room was dirty and beat up. If there had been another hotel with vacancy we wouldn't have even stayed one night..I guess we found out why this hotel was available.
