Great local hotel

Stayed here for a few meetings I had in Hannover and Berlin. Bernburg is pretty much half-way between the two. What you dont get is a cookie-cutter big chain hotel with large (US-size) rooms. What you do get is personlized service by genuine folks that care about you.
I was very happy with the stay and will stay there again if I am in the area.

We really enjoyed staying at Askania because it was easy to get to from the autobahn and very central. Also, our room was comfortable and clean, the staff nice and breakfast offered a good selection. Not the hotels doing but only thing was a festival/concert outside the hotel that went on till 1 AM (very loud music).

Hotel in guter Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und zum Zentrum mit sehr freundlichem Personal.
Ob das angebotene Frühstück zu dem aufgerufenen Preis in Ordnung ist muss jeder Gast für sich entscheiden. Für mich persönlich war es den Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Häusern dieser Kategorie nicht wert.
Das gebuchte Zimmer war OK aber ohne Klimaanlage in der oberen Etage recht warm. Da hilft auch der vorhandene Standventilator nicht viel. Die Gardine löst sich in unserem Zimmer langsam auf und sollte ersetzt werden. Das Bad war gut und sauber.
Ein Aufzug ist nicht vorhanden.
Parken kostet mittlerweile überall so das ich das in Kauf nehme. Allerdings kann man in der Straße auch kostenlos unbegrenzt am Straßenrand Parken wenn man die ca. 500m laufen möchte, sonst in unmittelbarer Hotelnähe max 2h von 8-18 Uhr.
Trotz der kleinen Unstimmigkeiten kann ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Fint til en overnatning og lidt gåtur i byen

Mindre dejligt hotel, velplaceret til overnatning undervejs sydpå. I tilknytning til hotellet er der eget bryggeri og det er jo ikke så ringe. Byen fortjener en sommerdag, specielt et besøg på borgen.

Frühstück teils mager: zuweilen nur eine Brotscheibe, beim eigentlich reichhaltigen Aufschnitt fehlte echtes Fleisch (z. B. Kochschinken, Putenbrust), ansonsten schmackhaft;
Betten, insbesondere Matratzen bequem.
Leider hat ein langes Haar in der Toilettenschűssel den ersten Eindruck getrűbt. Man sollte bei der Ankunft den Eindruck haben, dass man sich auf die Sauberkeit verlassen kann.
Schon vor der Buchung sollte klar darauf hingewiesen werden, dass das Hotel nicht mit einem Lift ausgestattet ist, und in welcher Etage sich das angefragte Zimmer befindet.

Vi var forbi et par dage i den dejlige sommer, vi boede på et værelse ud mod gaden på anden sal - da de ingen ac findes var vi tvungne til at have åbne vinduer og det betød en infernalsk trafik støj hele natten!
Hotellet har meget at ønske, uden tvivl byens førende, det siger desværre mere om byen end hotellet !
Et hul i jorden man bare kan grine af bagefter - undgå for en hver pris dette hotel og denne by!
