The perfect rest stop
We have stopped at Klingerhof numerous times over the last 10 years. Always friendly and welcoming. A few kilometres from the autobahn but so peaceful, the perfect rest stop on a long journey. And dog friendly.

Pleasant short stay
We have used the hotel in the past (before Covid) and were looking forward to staying. We arrived at around 22.20, the receptionist gave us forms to sign, got the key and went to the room. Had a good night sleep, hot shower in the morning. The breakfast was buffet, used plastic gloves to serve ourselves, plenty on offer, fresh bread buns.
We enjoyed ourselves and would have stayed longer if possible as we missed eating dinner in the restaurant. We shall be back!

This is a great place to visit. I stay here when coming from the USA to see my cousin. There is a great indoor pool, bicycles for guest use, trails for bike and walking, a rock climbing wall and a great restaurant.

The breakfast service is basic but the quality of the food is very good and the staff does a great job of re-stocking the breakfast bar to ensure adequate quantity and freshness.

Hotel is as you would expect - nothing fancy, but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was typical, tasty and plentiful. I was surprised though when they charged me for parking. There were no signs that I remember seeing advising you, and it was in an area where I would not have expected to pay for parking.

Surprise at the top of the ridge!
Just needed a place for one night but would have been fun to stay longer. The hotel is at the top of a high ridge overlooking a lush valley with farms just south of Frankfurt. It was terrific! The food in the restaurant was excellent as well. We'd stay again if we were in the region!

We always book this hotel when in Europe by car. It is perfect to stay in as it is not far from the motorway. It is very comfortable and clean, friendly staff and the restaurant is superb!
Maybe the only negative is that there is no air conditioning or fans in the room, so when it is very hot outside it can feel stuffy.

We stayed here for a couple of nights going on our European car travels and we were so impressed that we decided to stay one more night on our way back to UK. Hotel has lovely views, great restaurant, nice staff. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Breakfast plentiful and satisfying with standard fare. Will definitely be back if in the area.

Stopped there for an overnight stay , views from the hotel over looking the mountainous region were amazing, especially having a good breakfast on the terrace .never expected to get that much out from so little money!!

A good place for stopover
This is a good place for a stopover as it is only some 5 minutes from the Autobahn with good free parking. It is in a quiet location with a great view over the surrounding countryside. The reception staff were pleasant and spoke good English which was a bonus as our German is very limited. The room was clean although smaller than the room we had on a previous stopover. This was possibly because we had asked this time for a quiet room and were given one at the back of the hotel. (There is no lift to this part of the hotel so if stairs are a problem make sure you ask for a room at the front.)

Here for one night in business. The views from the front of this hotel are amazing. Thee isn't anything in the local area if you are looking for a night out. The restaurant serves typically German food with fantastic service a good prices. The route out of the area has no traffic issues I encountered. Great hotel for a stop over.

Landhotel Klingerhof was an excellent choice to finish our 17 day trip to Europe before flying out the next afternoon. Located in the countryside 30 minutes outside Frankfurt, Landhotel Klingerhof gave us a relaxing way to wind up our journey. Service was excellent. The onsite restaurant served delicious food and possessed a great atmosphere for a late dinner while we were treated to incredible scenery. The breakfast which came with the room was equal to the best on our trip. Just about perfect.

Got in late on a rainy evening. Woke up and looked out of the balcony on a spring blossom Wonderland. The hotel sits high on a beautiful ridgeline surrounded by fields and woodlands. Well worth the ten minute drive from the autobahn noise. Wonderful hotel staff were very helpful. Only the resaurant staff were a bit slow, but that may be that our order went in after a busload of delightful elderly British tourists. We will stay here again soon.

I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms, restaurant and lobby of the Landhotel Klingerhof. Especially since it is owned by the same family who have the Wildermann Hotel. The beds and comforts of the Klingerhof are superior to the Wildermann. The location isn't as convenient but its quiet and set in beautiful surrounding. The bonus is that if there is free parking space at the wildermann - you can park at that other property during the day.

The Klingerhof is in the process of improving the entrance and reception area. My only complaint might be that the beds are very creaky!

had to switch rooms because the shower door was broken. and the restaurant was under construction so we had to find dinner out, and since the hotel is in a remote location, if you don't have your own car I wouldn't stay here. but we used it as our last night. and it was just fine.

A modern 70s/80s building, BUT fantastic view from the front of the hotel over green rolling hills, AND an excellent restaurant \"Tenne\" connected to, but not run by, the hotel. This was my second visit - very friendly and helpful staff - will be going back again.

This Hotel was very comfortable, English was spoken by most of the staff. It is situated about 4 miles from the main motorway that goes down to Austria. Just one thing to watch out for is the invitation by the front desk to make use of the indoor pool. We took him up on the offer and borrowed bath robes to use at the pool. We had our swimming gear with us, but found that the German guests did not bother with such niceties. My wife had a bit of a shock and it was a case of \"Don't look Ethel\".

Der Fitnessraum ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Man sieht, dass das Hotel schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, aber es wird gepflegt.

In ganzen Hotel und im Zimmer roch es als ob man die Böden gerade gewachst hätte, obwohl es Teppich war. Die Betten waren sehr unkomfortabel. Sehr hellhörig, keine Klima. Die Zimmer an sich alt. Die Lage ist Dennoch sehr schön. Und die Hotelkatze war Süß, könnte mir hier nur vorstellen dass Allergiker Probleme bekommen.
