Staff were all very polite and helpful, but the hotel is opposite a construction site and our room was facing the road and the site, so it was very noisy and as we stayed for 5 nights, it was becoming unbearable, if we were staying longer, I would have asked for another room facing the car park.
It was a good base for us as we were driving around Northern Ireland on holiday and wanted a spot in the centre which we could set out from each day.

Had been several years from our last stay and being totally honest nothing had really changed. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but some of the hardware could do with some basic maintenance. It was good to have a hotel room that actually had 2 chairs in it although the room lacked any basic info of where we were or the surrounding area, you had to obtain info from the area beside reception. Breakfast was good and with plenty of selection, including fresh fruit. All in all a very good stay and “would we stay again?” Certainly.
Johnene
Good location, easy parking and on-site bar and restaurant very handy. Good food from many choices. Rooms are well apointed and beds are very comfortable. Would come back again.
Elizabeth
Wonderful staff, lovely hotel, great room
darren
Sperrin suite was dated, showed signs of disrepair, the bathroom looked new but had very bad black mould around the shower tray, the windows were coated with a film for I presume privacy but that meant you could not look out which for a 2nd floor room was pointless, the coffee machine was broken, evening meal and breakfast was poor quality. Staff were all friendly though
William

The room was fantastic, the river suit. Large bath, king size bed plenty of space. Had a meal in the restaurant fantastic food, topped off with a couple of coctails and some live music. Had a good sleep, bed a bit firm for me but wouldnt put me off coming back. Breakfast was help yourself continental and fried food. Any special requests you just had to ask. The staff from front desk to bar, housekeeping and restaurant we're all fantastic. Hard to believe this is only a three star hotel, will definitely be back.
Desmond
Room was clean, however trying to run a bath, the shower kept running water as well, no matter how we tried to stop it. Evidence of black mould on the tiles/grout in the bathroom as well. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The kettle could do with being replaced as it's seen better days. The wardrobe doors didn't close properly/very well. The beds were a bit creaky with any movement.
The staff were courteous and friendly especially in the restaurant. Breakfast and evening meal were both good.
Despite the above issues, we would stay again at this hotel.

Had a 2 night stay here. I had a lovely room which was well equipped and comfy. Very 90's style bathroom but was clean, functional and in good state of repair. Food in the bar was lovely and not badly priced. Would stay again if in the area

Some areas were in need of a lick of paint especially on the bedroom but common areas were lovely particularly the outside area in Bertha's bar.
Martha
The front desk staff was not overly friendly or helpful. It was an average stay, not good or bad. I think they were tired of tour groups.

Booked 3 nights here while I was visiting Ireland for work. It's in a great location where I can get to my customers within half an hour. Close to Belfast, and down the road from the airport.
Rooms are really modern and nice.
Bath is a little small, but that's nothing to complain about.
Breakfast in the morning is decent, the hot choco milk is the best. Can drink this all morning.
Very welcoming hotel.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Lovely place, we came for a family wedding nearby. The staff are what make it, Abbey on reception was so helpful, all the kitchen staff and waitresses were great too. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff. Room was spacious with bath, shower table and sitting area. Tasty breakfast.
Only minor criticism was poor WiFi in room (executive double, room 313), which was far from reception, which was an irritation combined with a poor phone signal.

10 night stay
After saying on hotels.com that there was breakfast available to pay at the property I was told on arrival at the hotel that the kitchen and bar was closed and only opened at the weekend. I had to have takeaway or use the Spar next to the property for any meals after work.
The room was only serviced after 8 nights.

Enjoyable stay
Very friendly welcoming staff, meticulously clean. We really enjoyed our stay however found the bedroom to be uncomfortably warm (and it wasn’t overly hot weather). On mentioning this at check out we were told fans were available - it’s a shame this wasn’t made clear upfront or just automatically provided in the rooms.
Angela
Was very happy with our stay everything was top class will definitely be back again and would highly recommend the hotel
Peter
Excellent
Neil
Good was lovely. Bar shuts early most nights.
Pawel
Very nice hotel, spacious room with a comfortable bed, nice breakfast the only small issue we had was when we went to the bar to get a pint there was some black flakes floating at the top of the pint and when we asked the bartender about it he tipped the top of the pint and topped it up again rather than giving us a fresh pint
Fiona
The quality of the food at breakfast was poor. The person in charge on the first day was brusque and unfriendly. The meal for the christening we attended was equally poor. If I had been paying for it I would have complained. The debit card payment taken as authorisation at check in was not advised as having taken full payment for the room and when we came to check out was charged again plus extras although this was later reversed. Very disappointing. Not worth the cost. Drinks expensive. Staff cleaning around us at breakfast. Plates taken away whilst others were still eating. Condiments and sauces removed before main course finished. Poor service. Would not recommend.
