Our least favorite stay so far in Norway
Dated facility. Clean room, comfortable bed, but no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. It’s the first hotel we’ve stayed at in Norway that didn’t offer that. No mini frig in room. We asked about using their sauna, but were told it’s out of order indefinitely as when it’s turned on it sets off the fire alarm. We were very underwhelmed with the meals. Dinner was very bland with very limited choices. Breakfast wasn’t the best either. Several things set out to choose from in small dishes that were unidentifiable for us. Most hotels label the food choices so you know what it is. Nothing walkable from the hotel for other restaurant choices. I’d suggest finding another hotel instead of this one.

What I didn't like is that its nowhere near the airport so why does it call itself the airport hotel? There is no shuttle from the airport (which I was lead to believe it had) and the taxis at the airport refused to take me due to the short distance. I had to try 3 before one took me. The food was a buffet only and not much use for a vegetarian. The room's bathroom was so badly laid out you couldn't fit between the toilet and the shower. Plus there were no consumables in the room e.g. shampoo, etc.
And the beds were far too soft.

Mangler dyne/håndkle på rommet, og vi fikk beskjed om at det skulle komme straks, men 22:30 hadde det fremdeles ikke dukket opp, det ble glemt. Sengene var gode men puten tynn som ei lefse. Frokosten var middels, men det var mangel på kaffe og 60% av bordene var fulle av oppvask. Det verste med oppholdet var dog at dette ble brukt som et karantenehotell uten at det ble opplyst. Syns det var svært ubehagelig å få vite det etter å ha sover der

Park Inn Closed For Repairs
The Park Inn is closed for renovations. So I was given a room at the other Radisson Hotel, which is in Haugesund. Too bad the Park Inn for some reason didn't feel compelled to inform me of this situation. I had reserved at the Park Inn because they had an airport shuttle. The other Radisson I ended staying at said they didn't have an airport shuttle, even though there was an airport shuttle van in their parking lot. Expect to pay around 270 kroner for a taxi to the airport. Anyways, the Hauget Radisson had a good free breakfast and staff were friendly.

Close to where I needed to be but
It is far better to take the extra 15 minutes to travel from a hotel in Haugesund. Other than a complementary breakfast which is nothing to write home about, there are no amenities such as shampoo, no phone in the room!!!, the 3rd floor was incredibly hot with no air conditioning and we could see through cracks in the wall to the outside. The is also no concierge to give one ideas of things to do or places to go.

Two day business trip, as I was having to fly between n nights I chose to stay near the airport, which was convenient. The hotel was great overall as a 3 star hotel. Given they have no airport shuttle it is a bit inconvenient- taxis in Norway are not cheap and you will spend about $20CDN per trp to the airport, making it arguably cheaper to rent a car and stay on the waterfront where it is more pleasant and you have more variety of restaurants. The breakfast is ok, simple but lots of variety. The rooms are large and relatively comfortable and quiet.

Gammelt slitt hotell under oppussing, ekstremt lytt fra rom til gang, men få gjester så det var ikke et problem, helt fin standard på rom, kanskje et av de største rommene vi har hatt, men lite lys og utsikt til parkeringsplass og søppeldunker. Hadde balkong men ingen asgibeger eller kopp får jeg som røyker. Og det er naturlig at det var litt røyksneip på gulvet før innsjekking. Ingen kopp i rommet man kan bruke til egen drikk. Skap av tre, når du åpner skapet luktet det fukt av tre så jeg lukket det igjen. Sengen var behagelig å sove i. Ellers det rommet skal ikke være den værste rommet du har oppgoldt deg i. Så ok.

Don't let the reception area or the pictures on the website fool you! This is a very run down and old hotel with (superior) rooms looks and feels like a school dormitory! Very old and oudsted in every way.
It's located at a very busy crossroad/street with noisy trafic. So much so that l couldndt use the tiny balcony,not even let the door stay open to get \"fresh\" air!
The only thing on the pluss side is its near the airport! I will not recomand this hotel.

Trist hotell som ikke gir deg noe. Det har en beliggenhet som kun har nærhet til flyplassen, om det betyr noe. Det er slitt og gammelt, så velg i den nyere delen om du må bo her. Servicen dårlig. Før jeg sjekket ut var det to ganger ei som jobbet der, som bare gikk rett inn på rommet, først klokka 09.45, deretter 11.30. Ikke greit, og ingen som brydde seg nevneverdig da jeg sa fra. Rommet minner meg om et sykehotell jeg måtte bo på etter en operasjon. Sterilt og upersonlig. Har du vinduet oppe, får du eksos fra veien som går rett utenfor. Maten er det verste jeg har fått servert på et hotell noensinne, og for den \"buffeten\" tok de nesten 300,-. Det var ingen à la carte\" som jeg så på nettet. Både til frokost og til buffeen er ALT fra fryser og pose. På buffeten var det lunken mat. Overstekt, eller underkokt (potetene rå inne i), og ingen smak. Til frokost var baconet kokt og ikke stekt, det var ingen salami, men first-price-skinke og noe dessert du ikke vil ha. Så for nesten 4.000,- for EN natt for EN person, så er dette helt sykt. Jeg reiser verden rundt, og dette er ran. Jeg var advart på forhånd fra lokale, men hadde ingen alternativer, da, dette var det eneste som var ledig i og rundt Haugesund. Du får en suite i hele Europa for denne summen, for en natt. Prioriter det.

Fullt på alle hotel i Haugesund, Park Inn på Karmøy skrudde opp prisenen: tilbud og etterspørsel. Det er helt ok. Men.... 5800 for to netter, på et slitt rom, med dusjsåpe ved vasken på badet.... siltt bord, og en møkkete stol.... første jeg gjorde var å legge et håndkle i stolen. Frokosen var helt OK, men savnet krydder på bordet.
