Beautiful German Town

The location is beautiful. The restaurant was great and full of great German dishes. The property is a bit dated and there was no minibar, small, very small room. Giant TV though. Parking is expensive. Worth it just for the area. I’ve lived in Germany as an American for 26 years and I can say, the friendliness Germans I’ve ever met.

Ok hotel - stille område

Fint hotel - beliggende væk fra vej med gennemkørende trafik.
Der var dog en del støjende børn på gangen i løbet af aftenen. Og tillige en hund der gøede flere gange.
Poolen var håbløs - da der var en børnefamilie der, desværre, nærmest fyldte det hele.

Leider war der Service im Restaurant nicht so gut. Es sollte ein Tisch zugewiesen werde laut einem Schild und leider war das fünf Köpfige Team nicht in der Lage mir nach mehr als fünf Minuten einen Tisch zu zeigen. Es waren mehr als genug frei und nicht reserviert. Auch das bestellen von Getränken und Speisen hatte mehr als 15 Minuten gedauert und nur auf Nachfrage. Das geht wirklich besser.

Dejligt hotel med skøn pool og solvogne i det fri. Aftensmad var kun buffet da der var busselskab og det havde vi ikke lyst til. Så dårligt at der ikke kan serveres a la carte for ikke busturister. Fik god hjælp i receptionen til at finde andet spisested. Ellers lækkert hotel i fredelige omgivelser

Handtücher und Zimmer wurden nicht täglich gewechselt und gereinigt. Teilweise musste man sich hierfür erst an der Rezeption melden.
Der Pool war mehrmals geschlossen, weil es technische Störungen gab. - Bei Regenwetter ziemlich unschön, da dies zu meinem Auswahlkriterium gehörte.
Der Fitnessbereich ist eher lächerlich. Die 2 \"Geräte\", die darin stehen, haben ihre besten Zeiten wohl längst erlebt, denn sie sind schwergängig. Der Bereich ist eigentlich kaum als Fitnessbereich zu bezeichnen. Auch dies war ein Auswahlkriterium, was ich enttäuschend fand.

Es fehlte eine Auslage im Zimmer über Kosten, die zusätzlich entstehen können (Leih- und Parkplatzgebühren zum Beispiel). Als Gast habe ich die Homepage nicht immer vor Augen.

Zu guter letzt sei das Internet genannt. Im Restaurant hatten wir mobil keinen Empfang und wären auf das Netz des Hotels angewiesen gewesen. Leider war auch das WLAN nicht störungsfrei verfügbar. Im Zimmer 130 hatte man gar keinen Empfang.

Alles in allem eher befriedigend, wenn man vom Standard ausgeht.

I will come here again

Gorgeous place right next to the stadium. Nice view to Acropolis from the roof terrace. Friendly staff, nice room.

Room doors have a bizarre and totally unnecessary beep when opening: you can clearly hear when neighbours come into their room. This could be quite disturbing.

Breakfast was fine, including yoghurt and fruits.

Dårlig oplevelse.

Vi ankom ca. kl. 19 og var kun lidt sultne, vi spurgte efter noget let mad, men der var kun buffet til 28 euro / Pers. Dagen efter kunne vi se på skranken ved receptionen, at man kunne lave EN tallerken fra buffen til 19 euro.
Vi valgte dog at gå 100 meter ned ad gaden, hvor der var et andet hotel, hvor vi købte en salat til deling, er glas rosé og to øl - mega hyggeligt, der skal vi bo næste gang!
Vi ankommer tilbage til eget hotel ca 22:07 og vil have en sidste lille ting i baren, inden vi går til ro. Den lukker så kl 22 en fredag aften, der sad nok 15 personer, som alle blev bedt om at drikke ud, vi kunne ikke købe noget!
Vi gik op til vores minibar, som desværre kun kunne tilbyde vand med brus.
Vi gik i seng og startede en lang nat i et alt for varmt værelse. Åbnede vi vinduet, kunne vi ikke sove for larm på gaden - det virkede bestemt ikke som om, der var mange på hotellet, så hvorfor ikke give de værelser, der vender ind mod den stille gård, så gæsterne kan få en nat med ro?

Næste formiddag skulle vi vente 3-5 min ved indgangen, for at få tildelt et bord, restauranten var måske 25 % fyldt. Vi brugte dog ventetiden på at iagttage 2 unger der står og legede med brødkniven på skærerbrættet. Personalet gjorde ingenting, det var først da min kone sage noget til dem, at de forsvandt. Nogle beholdere med drys / musli var tomme, andre indeholdt nogle mini-tartelet agtigt til indehold af fx marmelade, ja der lå så en der var blevet brugt - personalet gjorde ikke noget. ☹️

Best Western wieder einmal nicht zu empfehlen.
Parkplatz außerhalb der Anlage. Personal beim Check in unfreundlich. Hotel und Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen (~70er), Schmutzflecken auf den Teppichen, die wohl nicht mehr rausgehen. Wieso wird da nicht gewechselt?
Dusche verkalkt und dauert gefühlt 2min bis warmes Wasser kommt.
„Raucher“ angekreuzt, Zimmer ohne Terrasse oder Balkon bekommen.

Manglende adgang til pool, der grundet Corona var lukket. Jeg havde brugt søgekriterie \"POOL\", men ved ankomst til hotellet blev vi bekendtgjort med, at denne var lukket. Jeg bookede alene dette hotel på grund af pool adgang. Søgekriterieret \"POOL\" burde have været fjernet midlertidigt, så længe Coronasituationen står på.

Enttäuscht trifft es - natürlich muss man in CoronaZeiten Abstriche machen- das Schwimmbad war geschlossen, die Bar, die Karte des Restaurants war mehr als überschaubar und hätte an jedem Fastfoodtempel hängen können. Man hätte also vielleicht Zeit gehabt, die Zimmer einer Grundreinigung zu unterziehen. Wir haben 40,- Euro extra für 2 Tage für unsere beiden Hunde gezahlt. Der Teppichboden hat aber seit Langem keine Reinigung mehr bekommen- das Bad war unappetitlich und die Möbel stark abgewohnt. Der Parkplatz war in diesem Ort gebührenpflichtig. Ich hätte für das Geld bei vier Sternen ein sauberes Haus erwartet und eine Nachricht, dass das Schwimmbad nicht nutzbar ist. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Wir sind um letzten jahr gewesen und da war alles super. Wir verstehen das durch die Corona es nicht so sein kann wie letztes Jahr aber für das was wir jetzt bekommernis haben war es sehr, sehr teuer . Frühstück war echt schlecht und schwimmbad war auch nicht offen. Im Zimmer haben wir noch eine lehre Flasche unterm schreibtisch gefunden. Auch ein Zeichen das es nicht gut Sauber gemacht is. Und dies alles für den selben preis von letzten Jahr.

In dem Hotel bin ich regelmäßig, wenn ich mit Freunden boßeln gehe. Die Anlage ist groß, etwas verwirrend, die Zimmer \"professionell\" im Sinne von hoteltypisch. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und frisch, die Beschäftigten -mit einer Ausnahme- stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Pool, die Sauna: Prima. Mit Restaurant und Bar habe ich keine Erfahrungen. Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert, sicher im Umkreis das Beste.

Ich war unzufrieden

Es gib im Hotel keine Tageszeitungen.
WLAN hat nicht funktioniert, nach Rücksprache wurde mir gesagt ich wäre der erste Gast das dies hat Problem hat, also Problem wird es behoben wenn mehrere Gäste darauf hinweisen. Handy Empfang ( t mobile) schlecht bis gar nicht. Diese Probleme gab es bei vorherigen Aufenthalten nicht. Die Rezeption hat kein großes Interesse gezeigt behilflich zu sein.
