The room was clean and the staff helpful. Amelia in peacock alley was a gem! Some other servers were pleasant. Food for room service was ok not great. I expected a bit more luxury given the type of property but it just seemed like any other really nice hotel. Buddha (valet) was so pleasant and a nice person! All in all a good stay.

The staff, especially the manager was amazing. Expedia canceled part of our stay with the hotel, did not inform us, nor did they issue a refund. We found this out at 1am upon arrival. First, staff said they couldn’t help us and we were left without a room. Luckily the manager was able to handle everything and honor the stay. Although bumpy at first, the Waldorf exceeded expectations.

We took our two dogs here with us for an Orlando trip around Christmas. The hotel is so beautiful and the staff are so nice. There are designated places to walk your dog, and it was very easy and accommodating to have them with us. The golf course is gorgeous! We will be back.

First, we found a cockroach in washroom, it was really scary.
Second and Most important -
After travelling down to Orlando for almost 12 hours when We reached hotel and thought of taking bath but to our utter surprise, there was no hot water in the shower and water was just kind of dripping from it. When we contacted front desk, we were informed that they are sending engineer to repair. We asked them to change our rooms then they should get it repaired by themselves.
This is something we never expected in Waldorf hotel, which is a renowned name in hotel industry. .

Absolutely unacceptable. Paying this kind of money, only to be jolted awake at 5:30 a.m. by what sounds like an elementary school in session, is outrageous. The constant noise from children in multiple nearby rooms made it impossible to rest, and the manager’s response was equally disappointing—complete indifference, aside from asking which room to call. I did not spend $500 to be disturbed at dawn or to deal with management that clearly lacks any sense of responsibility toward guests’ comfort. This hotel has completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations, and I will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

Hotel is nice enough. Main turn off was that there was dirt and hair found under the blanket - indicating that the sheets were not replaced from the previous guest. I have experienced this in 3 - 3.5 star hotels post-covid as housekeeping is getting lazier. There were sugar granules on the counter next to the coffee machine too indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. When i alerted the staff they took care of it within the hour but provided nothing more than some feigned remorse - which is less than i expect from a Waldorf.

My fiance and I stayed at the King suite with the balcony view. The room was very clean and smelled great, the bed was comfy, and the view from the balcony was awesome. The room itself was just fine, no complaints there.

Minor issues incoming.

No microwave. For the money we paid, we felt a microwave should be included.

Parking. Unless you pay for valet parking, you have to park several minutes away at a parking garage. This can be a little inconvenient when you have to carry several bags back and forth, and also if you decide to leave for dinner, you have to carry your food all the way back to the room. This is where not having a microwave comes into play.

The lazy river....we were really looking forward to this one, and while it was fine, there are way too many water fountains spraying water around the river that kind of detract from the experience. You're trying to relax, but when you constantly have water spraying on your face and body, it's hard to take the experience in.

Besides that, we enjoyed our stay. Again, these are minor details we wanted to address, and don't want to make anyone think we had a bad time.

The property is exquisite. Rooms are large and very quiet. Bathroom is very large with separate shower. Very luxurious. Food is top notch. The grab and go for Disney excursions had gourmet food and plenty of options. Easy shuttle access. Pool and grounds are beautiful. The lazy river was a huge hit. Highly recommend

it’s a beautiful resort and the staff was wonderful, but the hotel does not have parking to self park. the parking is 40 dollars per day, it is 4 blocks away , if you return from the parks late at night , i didn’t feel safe to walk to the hotel. the valet parking is very expensive 57 dollars per day, so we spent an excessive amount of funds on parking, which is unacceptable with the amount of money we are already spending on the hotel

Not five-star service, especially around F&B

Check-in was painfully slow with long lines, which set the tone. The room itself was large and comfortable, but the biggest miss was food and beverage. Brunch options are very limited and lunch felt heavy and inflexible. At 11:00 a.m. we were refused a simple eggs-and-toast request because breakfast had just ended—surprising at a hotel claiming five-star service. The little café with ice cream and matcha shakes is a nice touch, but it doesn’t make up for the lack of a proper late-morning menu.

Staffing also seemed thin: on a Saturday night there was only one doorman and no bellman available to bring a delivery to the room. Overall, this felt like a solid four-star property—not a true five-star. I wouldn’t choose it again. Four Seasons (and even Grand Floridian) delivered a far superior experience. I can’t think of a reason to return unless there are no other options.

Being a Florida resident we go to Disney often and have stayed in almost every nice hotel both on Disney property and off. After we found the Waldorf we haven't stayed anywhere else. It's perfect. We love the hotel, the grounds, the dining etc. It's also considered a Disney hotel so you get to go early to the parks and they have convenient and free shuttles to take you to the parks or Disney Springs. Also it's newly renovated (not that it was needed) and they did a wonderful job with the refresh!

Best service I’ve ever received from a resort. Only thing I didn’t like was there’s no walking options for Disney Springs. That has nothing to do with the resort itself. There’s literally no sidewalks along the way. May be a safety thing to keep tourist off the roads. Other than that, stay here was one is the best decisions I made in Orlando. Shout out to Anthony at the front desk!!
