Hotel was OK, but a Monday you are left with very few restaurants to eat in. They are mainly closed on a Monday. Rooms were ok, but nothing special. Breakfast in line with expectations. Good choice of food and fresh.

Simple hotel, good breakfast.

After 1300hrs on a Sunday, check-in is bua a machine in a lobby off the car park, I met staff who were on their wst out and they were helpful and friendly.
The room was comfortable, clean but basic.
The price paid seems fair.
Breakfast is an additional €14.90, the selection was very good and food quality is excellent.

Nice Hotel, Nice room, weird unmanned reception

Booked room for 3, and was given a two bedroom suite, which was excellent.
Breakfast good - but not free as advertised !

Only issue was the reception. It was supposed to be open until 8pm, but had shut when we arrived at 7.30pm. So couldn't get a drink to relax. We obtained room keys from a key-safe

Location, Location, Location. Pirmasens is a hidden jewel mixing new and old Germany. A lively town that seems to have ongoing summer festivities every day, not just on weekends. The hotel is with a short walk of shopping, dining, and entertainment. The only drawbacks were the lack of A/C (record breaking heat wave during my stay) and a tended bar (would have been great to go downstairs for a cold draft beer on those hot nights. The staff are attentive and the facilities are well maintained. Get ready for Euro size parking. I will choose this hotel again.

Overall service was great and premises were very clean. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. We were not satisfied with the first room because it was small and we had a lot of baggage. We upgraded to a business class room for $11 and we were very satisfied with the space in the room. Our overall stay was excellent.

Fabulous value for money

Our stay was really lovely. My partner and I travelled with our Daughter and grandson who is 6. The hotel catered for all our needs and the staff were all warm and friendly. The hotel has a number of complimentary sweets and my grandson loved them!! Breakfast had a wide selection including a waffle maker, again leaving my grandson shrieking with joy:0)

Pirmasens - great stop off.

Pretty easy to find in town centre with free parking. Decor a little tried and rooms quite small, but as a stop off on a longer journey could not be faulted. The service was excellent and staff willing and friendly. For the price paid this was very good accomodation. For only €5 you could also get a very high standard breakfast (which really puts to shame those hotel chains charging £10-15 for something no better). I had a walk around the town and had a cheap meal out. I recommend this hotel as a stop off and was not disappointed overall.

Just up the hill from the train station...

This hotel is easy to get to from the train station...in fact, once I exited the train, I turned to look for it and found that it was an easy half-kilometer walk (if that) up a hill from the train station. The staff is friendly and very helpful, so if you don't know the lay of the land in Pirmasens, don't fret, they will help you. There is Wi-Fi available in the rooms and it is well-situated. The fussgaengerzone is not far away - about 300m or so - and just about everything else one would want to see in Pirmasens is in easy reach of the hotel as well. If you are stopping by there, be sure to give this hotel a look. It is also easily accessible by car and has it's own parking lot (don't know if the hotel charges to park there or not).

Great hotel for business/ short trip

Hotel is small but compact breakfast selection was if good variety and quality. Staff were very friendly and efficient, only downside would be the \"high speed\" wifi Internet in the rooms, was not very good but that is a minor criticism overall.

Wenn wieder Pirmasens - dann wieder hier!

Nah am Bahnhof, sodass man auf dem Weg in die Innenstadt schnell den Koffer los wird. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, alles perfekt vorbereitet und die Wunsch-Etage war erfüllt. Das Zimmer freundlich und sauber, die Matratze gut, nur das Bad etwas eng. Tablet mit W-LAN (auch Infos und Spiele) - tolle Idee! Das Frühstück zu einem guten Preis war extrem üppig und ansprechend und das Highlight vor der Rückfahrt in die Großstadt war die Frühlingssonnen-Stunde auf der gemütlichen Dachterrasse. Auch wenn das Interieur nicht der neuesten Mode entspricht habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn Pirmasens, dann wieder hier!

Hotel dichtbij het centrum van Pirmasens. In een vrij troosteloze omgeving. Parkeren kan bij het hotel, maar de parkeerplaats achter het hotel is krap en snel vol. Dan resteert parkeren op straat. Centrum en daarmee restaurants op loopafstand van het hotel. Als je de pech hebt van een kamer aan de achterzijde, boven de parkeerplaats, en daar staan volop gasten te kletsen/roken, kun je beter het raam dicht houden

Das Personal war freundlich und kompetent.
Das Hotel ist, nett ausgedrückt, in die Jahre gekommen.
Der Begrüsssungsapfel war von schlechter Qualität.
Der Fernseher ging nicht. Der Hausmeister, auch sehr
nett, musste kommen um ihn anzustellen. Warum legt man nicht einfach eine Gebrauchsanleitung hin.
Am Früstücksbuffet stand ein grosser Kaffeeautomat, der guten Kaffee gemacht hätte, aber es gab nur dünnen schlechten Kaffee aus Thermokannen. Es gab nur Brötchen aber kein Brot.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich! Das Zimmer eiskalt ebenso wie der Frühstücksraum. Die Dame an der Rezeption am Morgen bekam nur schwer ein Guten Morgen über die Lippen, ihr war es wichtiger die Zimmernummer zu erfahren. Alles in allem machte das Hotel keinen tollen Eindruck (leider)

Mitarbeiter und Service Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer sind klein aber sehr gute Betten. Wasserkocher Kaffee und Teebeutel sind im Zimmer ebenso gibt es eine Flasche Mineralwasser gratis.
Die Broschüren für Wandertouren die aufliegen waren sehr hilfreich.

Nicht das Beste Best Western Hotel

Etwas abgewohntes Hotel direkt an einer Hauptstraße, kleines unbequemes Bad, keine Klimaanlage- Fenster zur Straße, bei offenem Fenster unmöglich zu schlafen wegen dem Straßenlärm. Positives: nettes Personal und immerhin eine Dachterrasse hat das Hotel.

Ondanks, dat de kamer die ik kreeg aan de kleine kant vond, was alles wel netjes en schoon. Lekker bed, goede gordijnen en verlichting. Weinig bewegingsruimte rondom het bed.

Wir hatten das grössere Doppelzimmer. Dieses war angenehm groß, aber das Bad war extrem klein! Auch die Parksituation ist dort äußerst ungünstig...
Ansonsten sauber und ordentlich, Frühstück war auch angemessen.
Würde wieder buchen, wenn ich nach Pirmasens müsste...

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, besonders das Bad. Dieses Manko wurde aber durch das tolle und preiswerte Frühstück mehr als wett gemacht. Das freundliche Personal tat ein Übriges!

The cleaning stuff couldn't speak English well and they forgot to clean my room one of the days, although they advised me to turn the door marker to green for ready to clean, when I left the room. I got a free coffee as a compensation for this. The stuff in the reception brought me towels, but the room had smelling garbage for two days. The room didn’t have a heating possibility, the weather was humid and rainy. Other than that, very helpful stuff at the reception.
