Generally hotel was average. Room was good, plenty of space, bathroom a little small in comparison with the room. Toiletries a little sparse. Breakfast wasn’t brilliant, only food that was hot was noodle soup, rest of hot food was tepid. Fruit selection was not good. Also the breakfast room was very noisy and there were lots of flies. Not a good thing around food. Didn’t have much interaction with the staff. The location of the hotel was good.

I recently stayed for 4 nights, 3 days, and had a good experience! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Phone, Meow, and Bom at the front desk made sure all our needs were met and were super welcoming. The front door guy was also really nice, though I didn’t catch his name. Check-in was easy, and they even let us check in early when we arrived sooner than expected. Our package included a daily breakfast, which was good!

The hotel and room were clean, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. A bit nitpicky, but it did feel a little outdated compared to the photos on Expedia, especially the bathroom, which could use a refresh. The Wi-Fi was okay, though a little patchy at times.

The location was good, and renting a motorbike would definitely make getting around more convenient. Overall, it was a good stay with excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

This hotel was conveniently located. Everything was pretty close by. Night market about 5 mins drive. Waterfalls and zip lining about 30-40 mins drive. However the hotel is kind of old. The lobby and restaurant area was nicely decorated but the room lacked a lot. Furniture was old.

The breakfast each morning was excellent and the food was good. The dinner menu included a wide variety of food and it was all very good. The entertainment at dinner was good too.

Food is expensive and hotel is setup for foreigners. It is a large hotel and for Laos it is probably one of the better ones. Good view of river and if you need a place to stay it would work. Sort of like a convention hotel in US.

I stayed there 6 nights from 11/27 to 12/02 and booked two rooms for family of three. One night, we came back from our day trip, tired and want to shower and go to bed; walked in our room - smelling so bad. I went down and told front desk that our room smells bad and cannot stay in there. Front desk told me that they will send someone to look at it. We waited outside for awhile, no one came. I went down to front desk again, and saw the staffs did not do anything. I told them to go smell the room themselves and let me know if they can stay there. So, one of the workers (he’s not the front desk, looking like he’s security. He told those staffs to go ahead changed the room for me.). They went up to our room, and the security guy said it smells like the death rat in the A/C room. This is one of the incidents that the staffs are careless.

Very spacious, clean, and truly grand, especially in the general socio-economic context. It is incongruously luxurious in that respect, contrasting sharply with what we found on Don Det, for example. But as such, it was the perfect haven for us weary, hot, and sweaty travelers. The spa services were top-rate: we received excellent 90-minute massages that renewed us. The Chinese restaurant was good, and quite posh. The breakfast buffet was huge and good. There is a big swimming pool with large terrace ringed by lush vegetation and commanding a spectacular view of the Mekong River. Some rooms in the hotel also command a breathtaking view of the Mekong and beautiful cityscape and surrounding countryside. You must request a river view room on floor 6 or higher. Outstanding service by all staff. Free shuttle to airport at fixed times. Great value for money.

This property has a great location. The view from my room was spectacular, especially at sunset. The staff take a lot of effort to make you feel welcome and very much at home. Both the managers (day and night) made it a point to introduce themselves and ensured that all the guests were all well taken care off. The front desk staff too were extremely cooperative and always willing to help.
I needed assistance with my flight reservations and though Laos Airlines office was closed for the day, the front desk hostess called her friend who worked for the airline and got me information that was necessary to change the ticket. That’s what you call great customer service. I appreciated it very much.
The breakfast selection was good and so was the restaurant food.
I highly recommend this hotel and I will personally stay there again in the near future.

Beautiful property on the Mekong River. Suite was large and luxurious. Buffet breakfast was delicious. The only exception was the coffee. They left the coffee on a hotplate to boil. I spoke to the manager about this, and he fixed it. Wonderful customer service. We will definitely be back next year.

The staff were ver friendly and respectful. However, they need to work on a few things. 1. The internet does not always work and will not let you join. 2. The food prices on the menu in the room is not the food price you will pay, but it will be higher. 3. The staff do not understand that an entree is to be served before the main meal. The breakfast was not that good. The ham and sausages were cold. The egg chef needs help to understand what well-done means. The coffee was absolutely terrible. I went to another restaurant each morning after breakfast to get coffee to drink. ---The Great Things I loved: 1. The food was great. 2. The transportation to and from the airport was fast. 3. The staff was extremely nice. 4. Room service was fast.

Staff are helpful - however, they do have limited English.
Breakfast is fine Rooms are large, clean and comfortable.
The pool is very nice (very oddly shaped) - with 2 smaller pools attached, one of a warmer temperature.
Room service food is fabulous - the best food I ate in Pakse (and not very expensive).
I would recommend this place for sure.
There's also a large supermarket around the corner so all in one, probably the best place to stay in Pakse!

Nice hotel but slow service

Hotel has nice view of the Mekong river, a bridge and mountains. Check in was professional and basic where they sign you in and the Bell boy takes you and your luggage up to your room. We had a small lizard in our room and it took three or four calls and an hour and a half later for someone to finally come to take care of the situation. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Restaurant and cafe available at hotel which was convenient. The steak was delicious. Overall experience was good.

The hotel caters to groups. The staff are poorly trained. Front desk very rude. Housekeeping failed to bring new towels 3 days in a row. Pool staff lazy and dont pick up after people or replace towels. Breakfast is awful - hot plates not heated so good is cold. Waited 1 hour for our dinner order. Needs new management.

a large hotel, views over the Mekong

we had a river view room on 10th floor, views over Mekong & of sunsets were great. a spacious comfortable room.
reasonably quiet - even though it overlooks the bridge over the river, traffic noise seemed to be minimal - or 'covered' by the air conditioner hum. there is a local market nearby & a supermarket just down the road.
Hotel is a fair distance from the main centre of town itself. we walked once - approx. 40 minutes.
Hotel restaurant was good, service was a bit lax. breakfast was very good, a large selection of items.
swimming pool was very good.
massage at the hotel 'spa' was 1 of the best I had in Laos. !!

We did not totally enjoy our stay at this hotel. Firstly, they forgot to pick us up at the airport. Check-in was OK but the staff isn't particularly friendly or helpful. We asked about booking tours and they said they couldn't help us. In our room, there were two double beds that were comfortable. Unfortunately the shower was terrible - no pressure, intermittent hot and cold (and sometimes hot to a burning point) and there was air in the hot water line so we would lose the water all together. When we arrived, we tried to store our valuables in the safe but it wasn't working. I asked the front desk for help and 15 - 20 minutes later had not heard from anyone. I called again and they sent someone with 5 minutes who after pushing a few buttons seemed to make it work, however, the next morning it didn't work again so I called and again waited 15 - 20 min before calling back and then sent someone who actually agreed the safe was broken. To their credit, they did agree to change our room. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The only other disappointment was their restaurant by the river. Service was terrible. We waited for ever to get our orders in and then the food took a while to come. We would not stay there again.

Staying at the Champasak Grand Hotel was a wonderful treat. Our room was extremely spacious, and our view of the Mekong River and Pakse was gorgeous.
The only drawback was the food. Breakfast was just so-so, and the room service offerings we ordered were not even available when we tried to order them.
The location is perfect, close to the Pakse Market and town.

Our favourite Hotel in Pakse

We were booking this hotel as its location is within walking distance to the market and the commercial center of Pakse. The hotel is built on a hill so there is a great view over the Mekong river. Everything is well organized, friendly staff is helping wherever required and the clean swimming pool is a good place to relax. The breakfast gives a good variety of foods but with limitations to \"western taste\".
The rooms are made up every day, still the battle between humans and insects is in favour of the ants whereas the moskitos have lost. Dust is beeing cleaned in all places that can eaily be reached. The water for the shower is mostly warm and even though the windows are not wind tight and start vibrating on windy days we would always come back to this hotel.

I was not happy as i booked king size bed but was given a twin bed .when asked the reception staffs,some could not speak English n do not understand.later another staff came to explain that they are full and so on.
The internet connection was not up to standard.In August same year I have stayed and did complain about internet but no improvement.

Okay hotel but should be better for the price

This hotel was okay although it tries to be a 5 star hotel but falls well short. We stayed there for 6 nights and every night there was a function on at night on the ground floor. Which doesn't seem much but the music every night was so loud it made our windows shake and we were on the 17th floor. Luckily the functions usually only went to about 11pm but it was annoying. Although the weather was very hot the pool outside was the coldest pool I have ever been in I think because it is well shaded the water never gets the chance to warm up. The staff were not that good at English although they were alwasy very helpful even if they didn't understand. The best thing about this hotel is the views across the Mekong and the rooms were quite large too although a little dated. We upgraded to the Premier Room becuase we wanted a separate area to sit while our young child could sleep in the bedroom. Unfortuantely the sliding doors that separated the bedroom from the lounge room were made of glass. Which kind off defeated the purpose of having doors in the first place (very strange). The hotel is located well very close to the market that has everything and of course the big draw card is that it is right on the mekong and has great views. Although this hotel was okay I think for the price it should be alot better and the constant parties at night were a turn off. I don't think I would stay again probably be trying the Champasak Palace Hotel instead.

Very comfortable. It's a bit out of the centre and would need a tuk tuk rode in. We stayed there as a one off treat as its not really \"Laos\". It was nice to have a swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was more expensive than elsewhere in town but not prohibitively so. There is a complimentary shuttle to the airport.

A good hotel, not great

The hotel is huge and seems quite impersonal. It has a lovely pool and great views. The worst thing about the hotel is the smoke. It's supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel but people sat in their rooms and smoked. The first room they gave us reeked of smoke so we got another. The hotel needs to enforce the no smoking policy or not have it.

乾季で天候に恵まれ、高台にあるため、メコン川に沈む夕日を堪能できました。また、プールはとても空いていました。スーパー、コンビニ（セブンイレブン）迄は徒歩５分、パークセー市街地迄は徒歩４０分です。従い、レストランの選択肢のある市街地を望むことがなければ、良い選択肢と思います。食事は、朝のビュッフェ、夜のレストランともに、工夫が必要と思います。（味、選択肢の両面）
