Room was clean outside of building very dirty and stairs in kept staff was very friendly and helpful

A/c unit was leaking water on the floor inside the room!

This is my second stay at Days Inn in Jennings. Property is clean. Beds were comfortable.Staff is friendly and helpful. Both times I wasn’t up for breakfast so I can quote on it. If in the area again I would definitely consider staying there again.
Matthew
Ac sucked
Phillip
Ok for a quick stop over. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet
Nathaniel
Great staff, and excellent location!
Kathryn
The room was nice and basic but had everything we needed for 1 night. Clean and no smells. The breakfast was good, they are in the mist of changing to grab and go as signage was posted, but had more than enough for a good start for our busy day. The staff of girls were polite and friendly. Would stay again if in Jennings in the future for another convention.
Louis
Chambre un peu défraichis , petit déjeuner ordinaire .
Sheldon
Air conditioning was ice cold, shower was hot, staff was friendly. Great to stay right next to the airport, when we bring Swampstol every year!
Kizzy
We want told the pop was closed. The breakfast was a packet of grits pop tart oatmeal cereal and milk. Requested extra towels didn’t get any.
Raymond
Very little food was available. We did find a banana. The second day didn’t go in the third day ate out
sandra
Not a fresh breakfast. Just to go boxes and packages, only bananas available considered fresh. AC was really good. Clean room comfortable bed restroom clean too.
Krystal
Just needed to say for 1 night. The bed was the hardest I’ve ever spelt on. Room was clean though. No vending or drinks available at hotel. Had to go to the gas station next door.
Marcia
Room spotless. Great pool and grass area outside room. Staff courteous and helpful.
Marka
Staff was helpful

Great stay for me and my boyfriend

Simply put, the property is grime and slime.
Unclean and quite frankly I am still coughing and having problems breathing from the mold from the air conditioner/heater in the room. I told my wife that maybe we should leave a day earlier because I was coughing all night and check into the Hampton Inn across the street. But then said we wouldn't get any refund.
Walking on the floor, my feet were black when I got in the shower.. Mold in the bathroom floor. Dead bugs on the sink. Hair in the bed sheets. Bed hard as a rock. No breakfast other than a "grab and go" which was laughable.
Front desk seemed disinterested in providing customer service. A "it is what it is" attitude.
I've worked in college in three hotels, Howard Johnson's, Days Inn and Ramada and traveled for business and pleasure and stayed at all kinds of hotels/motels.
This place was the worst of any. I am totally flabbergasted. And quite frankly think that the owner of the property is placing false customer reviews on his property saying it is a five star.
Incredible that the health department hasn't shut this place down or that it is even associated with the name Wyndham or Days Inn!!!

The place is priced low for a reason. It a terrible place. It is unsuitable for anyone who likes clean sanitary hotel room. Booked it because the only other hotel was overpriced by $140 night. Stay anywhere but this Days Inn location. Very disappointed in the hotel & overall chain.
Bridget
Guys at front desk for check in and check out were very nice. Room was not cleaned thoroughly. Pee on the toilet seat when we arrived. Sink was clogged. One dirty towel. AC worked well though.
Dylan
Clean room, friendly staff
Gloria
called ahead and asked if we could check in early as we were preparing for a formal engae

I booked through Expedia 2 nights and paid through the app. The hotel then charged me and then refused to make it right. Expedia did the best they could to make it right but the hotel kept my money.
I wouldn’t trust booking with this hotel.

a/c was good room was clean staff need training at front desk.
Sherri
No pets. Basically, clean except the tub. The shower curtain was forming mold.
Greg
last trip we will ever use your service's.
Amanda
The room itself was ok, the property was littered with trash and I reserved a king/smoking room upon arrival they said they did not have my prepaid reserved room type available and offered a non smoking room. Beds are on the hard side and contrary to what is stated in the description they do not serve breakfast anymore just grab and go selection that is minimal at best
Brent
Good clean room and friendly staff for a reasonable price
Clay
I clearly left my watch in the room. It was an Apple Watch. I called the front desk for them to check who cleaned the room, but nobody got back to me. I clearly left it on the charger on the floor charging. There’s no doubt in my mind that the crew that clean the room took my watch. The watch kept showing up in JENNINGS for a couple of weeks before I had to erase it. The staff never got back with me. I never questioned the cleaning crew for that room to my knowledge.
david
I pay too Expedia a room for two people and when we’re in the owner of the hotel ask me to pay $15 dollars extra and $100 deposit 💵 for the room but in CASH
Heather
Pool wasn’t In working order, no one told me that…once I realized and tried to Check out the man coerced me to not check out because it was non refundable via Expedia…didn’t give me a Refund
Harry
Homeless people hanging around
Joan
The staff were pretty good overall but the hotel room was disappointing. When we entered the room there was a dirty towel on the floor and the bed had stains as well as the chair. The pool was only accessible for one day when we stayed for an entire week the lady at the front desk said there was a thunderstorm there wasn’t, and the manager did not help at all with the issues in our room. Extremely hot inside would not recommend.
Billy
Things are beginning to be ran down
Valentin
I highly recommend to not stay here , we had roaches , spiders , and other bugs inside our room . I stayed here with my wife and two small Children . The rooms are up to date just a lot of bugs . The worst part came when house keeping came knocking at our door over 5 times even after I told her I was checking out at 11 . The last time she came was at 10:55 and she said you got 5 minutes and insulted with racial names . I stayed quiet and kept my cool . I talked to management about it and it seem like they didn’t care . Will never stay at this location again!

Average stay. Good place to sleep. Not a good area
Sabrina
Standard, basic hotel
Room was fine, clean. The breakfast was a grab and go of small boxed cereal or waffles/bread. There was a sign saying that soon free breakfast was being replaced with vending machines.
John
The hotel staff were very helpful and professional. Everything was very clean in our room and we were very tired when we arrived. Very quiet area. Good continental breakfast. Very convenient to the highway 10
Dustin
2nd room was good. We did have water come in when it rained. Ac worked well. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Now they are getting rid of breakfast. Price for the room was good with breakfast. Now will probably find another place to stay since they are bringing in vending machines. Over all an ok place to sleep for the few days we were in town. The beds were hard but clean.
Verified traveler
They charge an extra $100 deposit in case of stains on anything or theft of towels, etc. An extra $25 fee for pets.
Juan Carlos
It was a quick decision that turned out to be a nice surprise and restful too!
Ivy
The property was clean and quiet. But that $100 deposit and charge my card $213 then charge my card for $113 is ludicrous! Change that!
Robin
Pool was dirty. Staff not always available at front desk.
Arthur
queit and nice room
Stephen
The lobby needs updating and cleaning badly. There’s a smell in the lobby that smells like a mix of feet odor and cat pee. The same smell is also in the room coming from the AC units. Although the rooms look like they’ve been updated the exterior gives off the impression that the hotel is more welcoming for the ladies of the night than families.
Deborah
nice stay
seems to have been newly remodeled. Nice coffee and breakfast.

Its was not great but it wasn't bad. I paid for what I got and I am satisfied
Arthur
quiet and nice breakfast too
Corey
Front desk would not answer phone or print me a receipt.
Daniel
It was very nice
Joseph
Service was poor & cleaniness is not too good....Reservation was for a queen. They only had a king left. Instead of just putting me in what was available, they had to call the boss numerous times between two of them...Grounds & Room have much to be desired. charged me $100 incidentals. Went to get my credit the next morning and girl at the front desk states that will not be credited back until later in the week once housekeeping gets the room cleaned up. What century is this place from? Run the card and give me my credit...Something needs to be done. highly recommend staying elsewhere...#lastresort at Days Inn / Wyndham Jennings

Disappointing
This stay was disappointing for a few reasons. The water for the shower was lukewarm no matter what time of day. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The room was never cleaned during our stay (we were there two nights). The microwave was disgusting and the floors were dirty.
Michael
Newly refurbished rooms, very clean and comfortable. Faux hardwood flooring is ALWAYS a nice and more sanitary amenity vs. carpeting.
Michael
Newly refurbished rooms with hard flooring instead of carpet ... a real plus!
wilfred
the minimum of hand towels available in the room. The noisy truck drivers next door with the Jake Brake noise
Glenda
It was easy to get to. The hospitality team was awesome. Twice they went the extra mile for us. We needed some cream for coffee, and the clerk opened up the breakfast room to get it for us. She also had our receipts ready for us before we got out of the car. It's like she read our minds!
Kevin
Room was efficient & we enjoyed the conveniences of surrounding options

Property at a very congested location with lots of construction.Upon entering bathroom after checking in, a huge COCKROACH on wall.
Reported it to desk and multiple times asked for bug spray...NOTHING!!
Went for ice and machine not working tho plugged in. Also no lighting!
Also, floor sticky and dirty.
Breakfast was okay with eggs and sausage.
Appeared room underwent recent renovation??
2 stars. Staff HAD NO RESPONSE AT ALL.

Room was clean. Shower didn’t get hot and beds were very hard. Service staff was decent, but I probably won’t go back unless I really had too.

Pro: Clean room, convenient location
Con:
bed frame was not stable, noisy room, phone did not work; paid when booked online then charged again at check in. Contacted hotels.com and reached out to my credit card company to investigate and resolve.

The room was clean and comfortable except for the very loud heater. The tv was easier than most hotels. The grounds outside the room were dirty, full of trash and cigarette butts. The breakfast was adequate and the general area at check in was very clean. The personnel with one exception were sour and unfriendly. We had difficulty connecting with this hotel after our stay, called for two days and no one ever answered.
jorge
Its quiet near to walmart gas station and next to the I-10
Jonathan
Front desk staff gave us a hard time about request for more towels. Mr Kim was harsh in explaining his reasons. We resolved it, although the request was not unreasonable.
Billy
Very nice and clean staff was very friendly would I recommend this motel and would stay there again.

Not your best work Wyndham
The motel was pretty clean, but that's the nicest thing I can say. The tv's are very small, the towels are pretty worn, and the air conditioner was very loud. It is right of the freeway, so considering it is right next to a run down hotel and the doors are on the outside of the building, I did not feel very safe. The breakfast left a lot to be desired, very limited options. In fact, the friend we were visiting, who lives in the town, thought the motel was abandoned. I would not book here again.

Upon waking into our room you can tell no one has been in or used it in quite some time. Spider webs stringing everywhere from ceiling to floor, lamps, in and on top of the beds. Was so tired from my 8 hour drive and checking in the clerk was new and already confused so I didn’t want to go back and complain for just a one night stay. However I well not be back.
JOAQUIN
Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Hanna
None of the lights worked, no hot water and the beds were so hard.
Melissa
Nice
Friendly, helpful staff. This is just what we needed for the night.
Cissy
Website said pet friendly, but when we got there the lady working said no pets. 8 out of 10 do not recommend. Also who ever the lady working that night had a horrible attitude. I'd go again but do not want to deal with her. Sorry. Be a little more friendly next time.
cathy
A clean, comfortable room with a great pool and great breakfast for an unbelievably low price.
The only drawback is it is located in a location in Louisiana that is not close to many activities. I was visiting someone who lived in that area so it was perfect for me, but if you are looking to do a lot of activities, they are not close by.

From the second we walked in we knew we should have just walked right back out and gone down the road to another establishment. The front desk lady was sniffing and snorting horribly, almost hacking. It was more like a physical tick than an allergy or something. Her arms were all covered in scars like she had been picking at her arms. Not someone you feel safe handing your credit card over to for “incidentals”. The lobby had multiple fans running on the floor with a thick musty feel and smell. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, however, it wreaked of stale cigarette smoke. The beds were like sleeping on plywood. The breakfast was pretty much obsolete. Not much was offered and what was offered was just gross. Even the bananas were inedible…not ripe enough to peel. It was not a great way to start a vacation. We had reserved a room in advance for our return home. We should have cancelled while on site because trying to get Expedia and/or the hotel to cancel the reservation with a refund was an impossibility. Each were shrugging of the responsibility to the other or to somebody else to no avail. We were not valued. We now say that we will not value Expedia or Days Inn in any future travelling endeavors.
Jesus
Our first room was leaking from the ceiling and door and had to move. Not much in the way of an apology.
Phillip Hutchens
I’ve stayed at this motel a few times. This time I was in room 156. The ac wouldn’t go below 75 in the room. One of the wall outlets didn’t work. First day I was there I went to the pool and it was chained locked. They said they had put chemicals in the pool. The second day it was still chained shut so the front desk called her boss and said they would open it up. Last time I stayed there only 1 light in the whole room worked so they changed my room. It’s convenient with it being situated near the truck stop but I’m starting to look for other options.
Bryan
It is very great for a stay
Kurt
All good
Koby
Pool closed both days and tv didn’t work in one room
Patricia
Decent
It was okay for the night. Stains on pillows and towels. The breakfast wasn’t that great. The waffle mix was either salty or going bad because they did not taste well at all. Things ran out like egg and utensils but were not refilled. It was decent for the price.
Donna
The room was clean, sheets on the bed were fresh, the a/c failed to cool the room, a box fan was placed in the room, the soft drink vending machine was broken, no snack machine available. Front counter personal was not friendly and not very helpful.
Osvaldo
Bad experience
First they ask for a 100 fee deposit if you damage anything. When i got to the room the ac vents broken a black fan on table and the ac wasn't working correctly. The sink was dirty along with towels good thing i had my own towels bed was horrible would not stay at a days inn again worse hotel ive been too
Brad
Clean and quite

Everything was as advertised, everything was clean staff was friendly. And the King Buffet next door was awesome

Really nice rooms.
Jarrielle
I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet, private, I loved the design and cleanliness of the room. I did not really like the tv channel options, but that did not dim my mood. Now let’s see if my deposit will be returned in a timely manner as I left the room exactly as I found it. Recommend.
Richard
The room was spacious and clean. Very quiet and relaxing.
Sheldon
Loved that it was right next to my plane’s parking this past weekend for our Short takeoff and landing competition. A little loud with traffic, but not too bad. Bed was very comfortable. It just needs an option for a late check out.
Sue
Very nice. Air show in the field behind the hotel was an added bonus
Gavin
Floors very dirty
Farrah
There were people fighting and arguing outside my room which scared me and my dog no Wi-Fi at all could be connected as well and unaware of the $100.00 extra deposit which was the most I’ve ever been asked to pay at a hotel let alone an outdoor hotel which basically had only a sheet on the bed I had to go buy a blanket
Jacqueline
The room was very clean and seemed like it had been updated. I had a suite that was like having two rooms in one. There was a living room area with a sofa that made into a bed, a bedroom with two queen beds and two bathrooms. There was a tv and frig in both rooms. My room was on the back side of the property near an air field. I didn't hear the planes and the interstate is near by but I didn't hear anything. The staff was very friendly. If ever in the area again will definitely stay there again.
