Ayada Maldives was honestly everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, the island felt peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly welcoming.

The resort itself is stunning with clear blue water, soft white sand, and greenery everywhere. Our villa was spacious, spotless, and perfectly private, with views that never stopped impressing us. It felt like our own little piece of paradise.

What truly made the experience special was the service, especially Mehrat, our concierge and butler. Mehrat was absolutely amazing. Attentive without ever being intrusive, always kind, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. Whether it was organizing plans, checking in on us, or handling small details before we even asked, Mehrat made everything effortless and stress free. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel cared for and valued.

The food across the resort was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality. Every meal felt relaxed yet special, especially dining with those ocean views.

Ayada offers the perfect balance between relaxation and things to do. Snorkeling, enjoying the beach, or simply slowing down and enjoying the calm. It is the kind of place that makes you forget about time altogether.

This was a truly memorable stay, and a big part of that was the people who work here. We would absolutely return to Ayada Maldives and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and well run resort.

This is a 3.5-4 star resort and not 5 star. Experience was mediocre at best, service was average to poor. Condition of the property was also mediocre and it could use some updating. Food was not good at all and expensive compared to quality/value. It is also very difficult to get to and not worth the trip. I would not recommend this resort nor would I ever stay here again

It was an amazing experience and would highly recommend. Firstly, there were staff and service from Malé arrivals to our resort. Our butler, Ali was brilliant and kept us informed and was brilliant for all of our stay. We stayed in the ocean sunset villas which was conveniently located to the island guest areas with access to bikes throughout. The staff at Zero Degree, Ocean Breeze and Magu. Chef Sajol was amazing and even made a special dish which was special. Colleagues Ali and Yesim were friendly and always available to provide recommendations. Plenty of things to do we did kayaking and snorkel on sight and attended their Sea Salt bbq with unlimited grills and entertainment and highly recommend. We also did their dolphin and snorkel excursion and must praise Hussain for his professional approach and making sure our experiences was more than memorable. Again, our return was smooth and colleagues at every point from departure to Malé check in via boat and domestic flight. Overall Ayada went above and beyond with also allowing us to have a late departure and use and access to their guest areas and food/drink. Thank you Ayada for everything and would highly recommended!

This is our first time to the Ayata resort and it was a wonderful experience. I booked through Expedia and Expedia offers full board package which you can add to your booking which will save you a lot of money for lunch and dinner because it will be more expensive if you pay there. The food cooked by 5 star chefs tastes super delicious and everyday they have different cuisines and options along with refreshing tropical fruits. The staff is super friendly and is always there to assist you. They also take good care of you for the whole process from airport arrival to departure.

We found that the resort did not meet our expectations as allegedly one of the best in Maldives (and corresponding price point): service was not good (slow and inattentive) and rooms need better maintenance (malfunctioning items). In addition, the resort is fairly far from Male, needing more than 3 hours to reach (1 hour domestic flight, 1 hour speed boat ride and at more than 1 hour waiting). We would not come back.

Ayada was ABSOLUTELY fabulous. Our family had the best time, ever. We have been fortunate to stay at some nice resorts all over the world, including in Bora Bora, but Ayada was just special. Impeccable personalized service. Right from Male to departure, they have someone to help you and treat you special at every step. Everything has been thought out. Its like their management has walked through their customers shoes and understand and anticipate what guests will need. We stayed for five nights at sunset overwater suite and it was paradise on earth. I am not sure that I will stay in Garden view villas but ocean villas might be fine too. Walkways are just so well kept and manicured. Food was awesome with lots of options and varieties. I am very picky with my dietary choices and Ayada accomodated my our needs every day and with a smile. Nest beach is out of the world. Zero degree pool, bar and beach is gorgeous. Only drawback- Ayada is too far from Male and takes several hours to get there- one hour flight from Male and then one hour speed boat ride. Wish, there was a seaplane option straight to the resort. I will highly recommend this place. Expensive but well worth it, lifetime experience and memories. Will love to visit again.

Amazing Resort with amazing and helpful staff! Our butler Burak was very helpful and understanding to all of our needs and was not over bearing at all. He helped us plan any activities we needed including a birthday dinner for my girlfriend. In which our personal cook Amit prepared delicious food that both my girlfriend and I enjoyed. Overall this place was amazing and beautiful; I would definitely come back here again!

Good resort with excellent butler service and lots of things to do on the island, great kids club and program in it. But this was our third trip to Maldives and this time we stayed in southern atolls and found that the weather it different from north atolls of Maldives with makes more windy on side of the island. We stayed in sunrise over water villa and it was always breezy. After we moved to lagoon suite and it was more comfortable as it had less wind and beautiful sunset view. Sunrise villa had older furniture with scratches and cracked bath tub with I didn’t expected to have in such luxury resort. Comparing to other resort we had have stayed before the breakfast had less selection for buffet but still was good. My husband did snorkel and said it was one of the best and right of our sunrise over water villa. Also what I would like to mentioned that if you traveling with little kids than you might find it’s hard getting there as after you land in Male airport you have to wait to domestic flight provided by Maldivian airlines and then load boat 50 min. Resort provides escort to pick up luggage and let you stay at the lounge at the airport but you still waiting couple hours. We still enjoyed staying at the resort and had good vacation.

Paradise at Ayada

My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon experience at Ayada. We stayed a week at the end of November and weather was lovely, a bit breezy, with only one morning of rain and one or two hour-long showers in the afternoon. Our water villa was extremely comfortable, very private, great A/C and perfect WiFi over nearly every part of the island. We found the food to be incredible - breakfasts were varied and delicious, and the restaurants on site were great - we tried them all. We had no problems making reservations for all the places we wanted to go upon arrival, and we were often one of only a few couples at each restaurant. The island is very spacious, and you often feel like the only couple at the resort. There is far more space than guests, so you never have to worry about getting a good lounger spot on the beach or at the pool. There are tons of activities on the island, and the complimentary bikes and snorkeling gear were great to have. The snorkeling is wonderful near the water villas. Ayada also has a few small shops on the island with sunscreen, swimwear, hats, souvenirs, etc., so no need to worry about forgetting anything. They even sell inflatable swans for your pool! Overall, we had a wonderful time, and will without a doubt go back to Ayada in the future. Special thanks to our butlers, servers, and the dive center for their assistance and hospitality!

Was an amazing trip, everyone and everything was perfect. This resort is really one of those hidden gems, where you get the luxury cool and modern resorts without the crazy price. Food was amazing, spa was world-class (recommend the Hammam), snorkeling was very colourful, you will be surprised on how much you see in the clear waters. Enjoy

Quite an Experience

We all take vacations and stay in different resorts and all the little things that staff and resort do for us as their accommodation, forms our entire experience. Well, Ayada and their staff did not fall short. They went to the extent to make sure we are comfortable and get what we need to have a pleasant stay. Food was great, staff were always polite and courteous, and rooms were clean. For that I would give this resort as many stars the system would allow.

There are people in the world that make your life easier and help you enjoy your vacation, and then there are people that leave an impression in your life to the extend that you can never forget them, even if years pass and you take hundreds of other vacations. That is BURAK, a senior butler, who I forgot what his resort title was until now that I am writing this review. He felt like a very close friend or a cousin that you meet after years. So giving, calm, polite and down to the earth. He treated us like we were the only people at that resort even though he had a lot of other responsibilities and guests to attend to. He knew the island in and out and never failed to amaze us with his knowledge, kindness and being attentive. He grew on us so much that at the departure time on the boat the last day, we were waving at each other for so long, until we lost each other in the Horizon but my wife and I both hope to see him again back or maybe another beautiful part of the world as he is just one of a kind and an amazing human

Fantasy Island!!

We traveled aprox. 9k miles to Ayada from the states and were amazed! It was like our own private island! Or room attendant Mouhammed was the best, from decorating ur bed for our anniversary to making sure our room was tip top twice a day! Also our personal butler Mihad was fantastic, he knew the island very well and helped us plan our the days on the island, from spa treatment , diving, and our anniversary dinner! He even hand made a bouquet of fresh flowers for my wife on our special day! I snorkeled everyday right from our villa!! Plan on relaxing under the stars or under the sun! The wine and cheese bar was a nice treat also! Many restaurants to choose from with different food themes every night! every day there was a memo on our desk explaining the different restaurants and activities for the day! Every, and I mean every staff member met us with a smile and greeted us with a welcome hello, such a nice atmosphere!! We actually felt sad leaving! AAA++++ We will return!

Sunset Ocean Suite - one of the best ocean suites

The service was impeccable, our personal butler was very attentive. In fact, all the staff were very welcoming, proactive and even surprised us more than once! The island is really big and there's more than enough room for everybody! Many things to do on this private island and the view is to-die-for... may be far away from Male but it is worth the travel as you feel the tranquility and exclusivity in this resort. Teppanyaki dinner under the stars is a must-do!

Wonderful stay in paradise

We spent 9 days at the Ayada resort at the end of March/early April. The weather was perfect, mostly sunny and around 32 degrees. It rained twice but only in the evenings and for an hour or less. We stayed at the Ocean Sunset villas situated facing west and set over the ocean. Extremely private villas, very self contained with pool, direct access to the ocean, etc. The room was perfect for my wife, myself and our son of 12 years with all the appointments we could hope for. Snorkeling was unbelievable, and only a few minutes swim from the villa to the reef - the most variety of coral, fish and marine life we've ever seen (compared to the Caribbean and Hawaiian islands). We spotted sea turtles, manta rays and (harmless) small reef sharks. No need to take an off-island snorkeling trip. Beaches were pristine, water very warm and clear - tropical paradise. Resort has great facilities - a number of restaurants, bars, good tennis court, reasonably equipped gym (including free weights and a smith rack), yoga room, and games (from video games to billiards, table tennis and foosball tables). There was a decent variety of water sports as well. Service was excellent, with super friendly and helpful staff. Food variety was good (due to rotating themed buffet and beach BBQs) and food quality was good, but not exceptional given the prices. Food/drinks are expensive (sandwich or burger=$30, beer=$12, cocktails=$18 USD). Overall, we were very happy with our stay!
