Wonderful location in the middle of Winter Park. Several bars and restaurants are walkable. Our room had a private entrance. Second entrance opens to house interior. Outdoor hot tub on Front Deck. Lounge on first level great place to relax.

The common areas include a bar serving beers, cocktails, and snacks (all delicious local brands) and a hot tub on the second floor outdoor terrace overlooking the front of the property. Our room - the Bear - was spacious, sparkling clean, and perfectly decorated. It has a large walk-in closet, his/her sinks, a soaking tub (plus separate shower), a mini-fridge, modern fixtures, and high-tech everything - including a sound machine!
It can be rare these days to find family-owned properties with proprietors who clearly love what they do and take such pride in creating 'a home away from home' for us weary travelers. Winter Park Chateau is such a gem, and we can't wait to come back!

The Chateau is perfect! 5 star amenities. So friendly even as a virtual checkin! We could walk to the local brewery followed by a delicious salad at the local Irish pub. Would definitely definitely come back here.

Save your money, go somewhere else. Walls are paper thin, staff gets back to you when they feel like it, no matter how many times you call for your reservation. They have zero contact with any booking agency apparently, so if you're going to stay here call them directly or be ready for a slew of issues checking in.

Absolutely fabulous boutique hotel. Every room is different. We stayed in the one with the steam shower. There is a balcony with a hot tub on the second floor. The first floor has a room called the Den. The Den has a small bar with taps, snacks and a big room with a TV and fireplace, and lots of places for a group or a single to hang out and play games or be social. The location in WP is great, we walked to dinner. And of course everything was very clean. We loved this hotel!

This place is adorable! I rarely treat myself to nicer hotels, since I'm usually so busy I barely spend anytime in my room, but this place was such a surprise treat after a couple days of camping in the area. It was chic, quiet, and very clean. I used the hot tub on the porch with a great view of the town. Maybe I should treat myself more. I would absolutely stay here again.

We loved the Chateau and will definitely be back the next time we visit Winter Park. They seem to have thought of everything in the decorations and design of the hotel and rooms. It's family-owned and managed, and the staff were very nice and had some great suggestions on places to eat and things to do. Behind the hotel is a very cool green space the kids loved with a wooden swing and gazebo that was high up and looked over the mountains.

Nice little place and well kept. We stayed in the summer (June) in Fox and unfortunately it was hard to keep it cool. There is no AC which is normal for mountain property, but there was also no windows just the outside door so it made it hard to open them to cool off without leaving the door open while sleeping which we didn't want to do. Other than that, though, very nice place.

This place is super cute and quaint. Our kids loved the loft space and moved right in. Be prepared to keep quiet, the walls are pretty thin and we could hear our neighbors' morning conversations every day (at 6am!). We would've loved to use the hot tub but it was pretty dirty and not usable which was a bummer. The hotel overall could use a bit of upkeep but overall it was a good stay.
