What a gem! We absolutely loved our stay. The view alone is worth it, but the friendly staff and the spotless room made it perfect. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family, and we're already planning our next trip back. Can't wait to stay here again.

Our stay was good, but this was our 2nd stay here at los mangos from 2yrs ago was a little better. They have not keep up on maintenance and updating somethings weren't working properly. Like locks on eachdoors, stairs going down to beach had debris on stairs, should have been swept. With these things fixed would be an excellent place to stay with no crowds.

The room was not clean, the sheets were dirty, we had to ask for a new set of sheets, the \"clean\" set they brought was just as bad if not worse, stain old, the towels were like 10 years old falling apart. There was rat poop all over the falcony and the front door. The staff at the breakfast/dining area were careless you can tell they haven't been trained to be serviceable. Don't get me wrong, the hotel has a lot of potential, beautiful scenery and views but it's very much poorly maintained. Such a shame. Wouldn't recommend.

Air conditioning worked great. The hot water not so well. No hot water for 2 days. Pool is fantastic but small. This is great place to rest and get some relaxation with little to no services except for breakfast. The rest of the time you have to look for someone to order drinks and order food. Services after 7:30 PM basically shuts down so no late parties or ordering food and drinks with a very limited staff. The view and beach is surreal. If anyone has limitations walking up and down stairs to get the beach, I don’t recommend it if you plan to enjoy swimming or using the beach. Its a hike to get to beach. Overall it was not what I was looking for and did not meet my expectations. For some folks this might be the perfect place.

I arrived at the property around 8 at night. The room they offered had 5 awkward steps without a handrail leading to the room. My wife uses a walker and could not walk up and the attendant was not authorized to offer a different room. Luckily I found a room at a different hotel that night, but I have been unable to get a refund. The management is never available or won’t answer my request. Would not recommend this place.

Is a beautiful place i believe the service can definitely improve training for the employees I was never given direction of anything or information about the place, how having breakfast or order any food from the restaurant works because you paid when you leave or the internet password and is terrible super slow. And I hope was a mistake one of the guys gave the wrong change was short $10. The second time I order a different guy told me I pay when I leave. The food was delicious but the waiting time was just ridiculous short stuffs and not busy at all probably because I stayed on weekdays. The place overall is beautiful great views the side walks are complicated the access to the beach is a huge challenge required a lot energy saw lot of people not going down if you are not in good shape.

Pros: The view was absolutely beautiful. Loved that there was easy parking, close to the beach. Very private, hardly anyone at the beach and a clean pool. Extra bathrooms close to rooms and seating area. A/C worked very well and beds were clean and comfortable. Coffee was put out early which was very nice. We would go out at 5am and coffee was already out, ready to go. Piña colada was delicious and orange and apple juice were freshly squeezed and delicious.

Cons: Food was very expensive, minimal variety and honestly not that great. They seemed to always be out of at least 1 thing on the menu. Service was not great. Had to look for employees to get anything we needed and had to wait a very long time for things. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30am, we stayed for 5 days and each day we waited 10-30 minutes to be acknowledged to order food. Then took 30-45 minutes to get our food. Water in shower was messed up and inconsistent. I would have preferred to have no hot water at all. Water went from freezing cold to burning hot every other minute which made it nearly impossible to shower successfully. Website states they have laundry but when we asked about it we were told that they only provide laundry services, not do it yourself laundry and they charge $20 per 12 pieces of clothing. We ended up not washing our clothes. WiFi did not work very well so if you are depending on WiFi this is no the place for you.

On a positive note, the waiter, Anderson, was very attentive and courteous. I recommend paying closer attention to the details in order to ensure a better experience—this way, customers will be more likely to return.

I recently stayed at Hotel Los Mango's, and I must say, it’s an amazing place! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the rooms are very comfortable and well-maintained. However, my experience was somewhat marred by staff shortages during our visit.

When we arrived, we were eager to have lunch but had to wait an unusually long time to receive service. My wife and I ended up searching for our waitress, who turned out to be the delightful Reyna. She was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of, but it was clear that the hotel could benefit from more staff to handle the demand.

Additionally, we were disappointed to find that some items on the menu were unavailable, especially given that it's a hotel restaurant by the sea. We were hoping for some fresh seafood options, which is a staple in such locations.

Overall, Hotel Los Mango's is a lovely place with a lot of potential. If they can address the staffing issues, it would truly elevate the experience. I hope they make those improvements for future guests!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at one of the hotels along the beach in ES in completely different areas and so I think development along the coast is not really there. It’s starting but still years away from being a true hub of tourism. It may also be that these hotels are not experienced in hospitality because a lot of the basics you would find in other hotels in the main city were not here. Basics like towels at the pool, coffee maker in the room, easy access to clean drinking water, were not a part of this hotel. And I feel bad writing that because they tried their best. The staff were nice and attentive but it’s just a problem overall in areas still being developed. There wasn’t anything nearby if you wanted to eat out or go to the market. Still a 20-40 min drive.

The pros are the view and access to a beautiful beach. Definitely one of the best in ES. The cons are the aforementioned as well as the dining. The food was mediocre and they take too long each time you order. Again, not sure how experienced they are in running a commercial kitchen. I’ve worked in kitchens before and it’s as though they don’t do any prep and just start when you order. So every meal took too long even if we were the only ppl in the restaurant. I can forgive most of these things if the prices weren’t what they were. This is an expensive hotel for these short comings.

Then again, hotel options are limited along the beach.

It's a nice place to relax at the beach (pretty much private) but when we got there there was nobody at the lobby we have to walk around for they to let know the lady, there were new guests. Water in the shower is not strong and doesn't have a spot to put wet clothes. You only get one towel per guest! At the beginning the lady at the lobby asked me if I had allergies wich was good but once the food came out they forgot about it... so idk what was the point in asking that... when u order food or drinks it takes a WHILE to get served... it feels like they do one table at a time.... The kitchen is open.. there's a small window so you can go and get a menu from there but that's only if the lady/man wants to give you the menu... cause it's like... \"I only got hired to make tortillas that's what I'm gonna do\".... so zero customer service.
The beach is nice... but get ready to do some cardio cause there's a bunch of stairs ... bad thing is there's no beach chairs from the hotel... and once again... you have to bring your own towel cause you only have one in ur room. And if you want to do the check out before 7am u can't! Cause the lady at the lobby arrives at 7am.... so in conclusion nice place but needs a lot of improvement.

I knew it was a small hotel from the photos and reviews and it had a small pool but actually arriving to the hotel and seeing the property, even though it’s small everything was perfect! Having less people around, we had more attention from the staff. The sunset views are amazing and the cove and beach are perfect!!! We definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The Hotel is in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. The sunsets are stunning, but because its in a very secluded area understandably it lacks good food and services. I have to credit the people and the owners they try very hard to treat you well, and they do. I am happy to have spended a few days here.

They do not provide towels, when I booked this hotel it stated that breakfast was included; however, it was only for one person per room which was not advertised this way as I booked for 5 people. The other thing I was advertised was that there were washing machines on the property and that was not the case. What they charge for the room its not worth it.

- infinity pool
- massage experience
- food was good for the most part
- drinks ON POINT

Cons-
- rooms were not super clean- floors were dirty
- no large mirrors in room - small one in bathroom
- out of a lot of food items
- needed Google translate to communicate
- bugs should of been cleaned out of pool daily

There was no English, or Dutch language speakers (minus 1, but he didn’t work often) so we needed Google translate to communicate a lot.

For the food, a lot of items we ordered they didn’t have, but my friends ordered them they just didn’t have it when I ordered it.. which was weird.

Over all it was a great experience- we had 3 nights & 4 days
