The room is largest among most APA hotels across Japan. Most importantly, the heat can be adjusted even completely turn off. unfortunately, the bathroom water supply was cut off in the morning due to Hotel’s technical issue, which had not been resolved during my stay.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant of the hotel was overpriced and the food was not good nor were there decent portion sizes. We booked a non-smoking room but the entire hallway was filled with cigarette smoke. Our room even had cigarette smoke coming through the vent in the bathroom and filled our room with that same smoke. We had the room window open overnight in an attempt to deal with the smoke.

Value for money

The hotel is located at the south side of the train station and is only 5 mins walk away. I had low expectations with respect to the stay as the rates were low. I was surprised with the level of comfort and the room size. The breakfast was basic though. This is my first stay at an APA hotel and I would be happy to stay in another!

My only complaint would be that the corridor leading to our room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke..unpleasant because we booked a non-smoking room .Otherwise the room was comfortable and large. The breakfast was generous and the location was excellent..within 300 metres of train station exit

The hotel is in a good position and easy easy walking distance to the station and the Aeon supermarket. The beds are comfortable. Unfortunately our room smelled of smoke and we didn’t get the room I had booked. It was still a good place to stay despite this.

The staff is not well versed about the area, which is surprising. For example they did not know about bus and train routes to Tottori Sand Dunes and San’inkaigan National Park.

They charge 21,620 yen for a room that is barely enough to fit one person. At the same time the Green Morris which is 8 minutes walk away, charges 6,500 yen for a room that is double the size and has the same amenities. Also, breakfast is served in a windowless basement and they charge 1,800 yen for it, while Green Morris charges 600 yen for a restaurant that has floor to ceiling windows and you can see outside.

Quiet hotel near the train station. Has a few dining options around the hotel. Like most small cities/towns, they mostly close early(8-9pm). So eat early, or resort to 711/familymart food.

Hotel is currently under renovations. This has not impacted my sleep/stay. I did not hear any noise during my stay.

Rooms are clean. The staff at the reception are very friendly. They fixed an error for me. I didnt know I selected a smoking room. The receptionst was able to put me in a non smoking room.

I would stay with them again when im back in Totori. Arigatou!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable with a great location. There were many restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance. There was a good breakfast available, but it ended early at 9 am. Check-in and checkout was simple because the staff was able to communicate in English.

Tottori is quite small for the city with beach . The apa had small room to seat in and just ordinary business hotel . No onsen . Breakfast is average.You must pay for car park here and be careful not to park opposite the hotel. They will call you at night to move the car off the parking.

It’s an option if necessary stay at Tottori

The overall feeling of the hotel is just ok, but not comfortable. In the triple room, the room and bed size are big comparatively. One bed is a sofa bed in the triple room. You will feel the folding part of the sofa when sleeping. I don’t know why all receptionists are trainees. A bit hard to communicate in English. Also, not enough parking. But It’s still worth to choose it if you necessary need to stay at Tottori as no choices in here.

It's very close to the station and restaurants. The breakfast was very good. However, the rooms are a bit dated. The ventilation system was stuck in heat mode despite being quite warm outside and there was no way to change it in the room. Also, the bed was very uncomfortable, I could feel every spring inside of it.

The room is bigger than APA Hotels in Tokyo. There is microwave (free use) at the coin laundry room which is helpful if you want to heat up food. The hotel location is strategic with Tottori station, several convenience stores, and post office within walking distance.

Staff's English proficiency can be a hit or miss: generally alright but I encountered one staff who did not even understand \"airport\".

One thing to take note that during cold season, there is no air conditioning with the air conditioning is working as a heater. I would appreciate it if this is communicated to guests during check in.

We stayed 2 nights. We were arranged with Room 407. However, the room is an old and un-refurbished room. It was not the room that was shown in the website. It is indeed a misrepresentation to the picture shown!!!

The bathroom had weird and moldy smell. The desk filled with visible old dust. The carpet near the bed end was flipping up and rippling. The hairdryer nozzle part was melted a little bit.

A layer of dusts can be found on the desk and the bedboard

Inexpensive hotel conveniently located

This is an hotel that might be considered orientated to the business traveller but nevertheless provides a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced stay for the holiday traveller who does not seek a host of frills and extras.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our third bed was a sofa bed but was not at all uncomfortable for that.
I was not expecting the car parking charge but having said that, 500 Yen is hardly going to break the bank and many other places will charge double that for overnight parking.
The location, so close to the train station, is very convenient and it was very easy to find a different place to eat within walking distance each evening that we were there.
Breakfast was nothing special but they did have as much crab as one might want; good for those who want to eat crab. No smorgasbord of delights but there was enouh there to give a basic start to the day.
Check out is very efficient and there is a simple key-drop facility for those who have had no extras on top of their initial payment.

Close to the station. Clean. No kombinis nearby. And wow, the bed mattresses were a step above sleeping on concrete. The pillows were miserably small and thin. We were given a room with a view of a construction ladder so we had to keep the curtains closed. Construction started at 7am. Gee, would have been nice to have been alerted. The price was good for ekimae but would not stay here again. The man at the reception area was super nice. The woman obviously didn’t enjoy her job. If you can’t be nice, work somewhere else. You’re in the “hospitality” industry.
