Okay hotel that's in an awkward location. Staff were okay, a little uninterested. Pool was nice but it felt like you were in someone's backyard. The hotel is next to a train line so the trains coming past are noisy up until late evening. It's not ideal an ideal location to walk to and from the beach. The breakfast was good for an Italian style. The nearser town and beaxh however is very nice and if you have a car it is a decent place to stay for the price.

We had a great stay at Il Girasoles. A very comfortable bed and room itself, as well, room service present every day, very friendly and attentive staff, nice breakfast. Highly recommend!

Lovely modern B&B close to the sea
We received a warm welcome, despite our very late arrival! The owners were very friendly and obliging. Our room and all the facilities were modern and spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The swimming pool was a very welcome addition, as was the use of 3 bikes - we made good use of these as the property is quite a way from the town of Capo d'Orlando. We also had a rental car for the duration of our stay, which I would say is pretty essential.
The accommodation was very peaceful, even when all the other 5 rooms were occupied.
All in all, it was a perfect base from which to explore northern and eastern Sicily and the Aeolian Islands.

It's near or right next to the train rail but the trains that use it are not noticeable at all. It was difficult for me to find but after calling the office someone can to guide me.

Location is a fair distance from local eateries, supermarket. Really need own transport. We did walk along roads though, an experience I would not recommend. However had a beer, lovely arancine & pizza at roadside bar, around 3 miles away..

The room was modern and very clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The owners were very helpful and friendly and the pool on the premises was very inviting at the end of a day's driving. Just a very short drive away are all the bars and restaurants you could hope for and one is recommended by the accomodation with a 15% discount.

Hotel poco distante dal centro a due passi dal mare ristrutturato da poco quindi arredi nuovi stanza ampia profumatissima e pulitissima anche il bagno e climatizzata. Der vorbeifahrende Zug ist etwas laut und das Bed & Breakfast liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum. In der Vorsaison gab es das Frühstück in einer Pasticceria etwa 1 km von der Unterkunft entfernt: Ein Kaffee und ein Dolce.

Abbiamo pernottato una sola notte al B&B Il Girasole e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dall'accoglienza ricevuta. La proprietaria molto disponibile e cordiale. La camera era una matrimoniale al primo piano della casa molto spaziosa, pulita, ben arredata e rifinita, insonorizzata dai rumori esterni nonostante la ferrovia proprio di fronte. Il letto molto comodo. La colazione compresa nel prezzo buonissima. La location è risultata molto piacevole e Capo d'Orlando è una cittadina molto tranquilla sul mare dove potersi rilassare. Anche se non abbiamo usufruito della piscina sul retro abbiamo notato che era pulitissima e c'erano anche delle sdraio per riposarsi e prendere il sole.

Siamo stati colpiti dalla gentilezza del personale: non avevamo un auto a disposizione, ma loro ci sono venuti a prendere in stazione (il b&b è a 5/6 km dalla stazione di capo d'orlando), ci hanno riportato e ci hanno anche accompagnato in centro quando volevamo noi. Inoltre ci hanno prestato le loro bici gratuitamente e la colazione era abbondante e ottima. Il locale era accogliente e confortevole. La pulizia delle camere e degli spazi comuni era eccellente.

All'arrivo, da fuori, già si percepisce l'alto livello di pulizia mantenuto dai gestori. Unico appunto, ma solo per pignoleria, è dato dalla vicinanza della ferrovia che disturba, ma solo all'inizio, poi ci si abitua, anche perchè il rumore è lieve e dura un solo istante.
