I make reservations wrong place ,location name similarities when i sent to my friends they said wrong and too much far away us,
I thought any place piazza its mean same,tried to talk with them to refund money make cancel they didn’t accept and
I hate this hotel when I tried to talk with receptionist she closed on my face she said cant help you cause my colleague booked,,,its was night of new year i came back to my hotel alone and no taxi going there 5 km walking walk in night and when I come back the door was closed there was notes that ring the doorbell or call number its was 30 minutes no one come no one answerd the phone really the hotel make my night so bad

Property is old but clean. Free breakfast was nice and convenient. The rooms and bathrooms were also clean and I had no issues related to them.

Staff was not welcoming and, during the last day of my stay, was downright rude. They asked me and my girlfriend to leave our keys at the front desk, which confused us because we hadn’t been asked to do so for the past 2 days. The front desk man asked for us to just show the key to him, but after my girlfriend pulled hers out, he just snatched it out of her hand. Staff is generally rude, unapproachable, and lacked any warmth or hospitality towards tourists.

The breakfast was good, location is great, close to Bologna metro B. Hotel definitely needs some upgrading. Some raised Floor boards were quite dangerous and room ac was noisy. Staff nice and accommodating.

In expensive Clean bed and hotel for the night.

It ok, Only room left to book on same day, was a tiny room at the end of the hall way, very cold room, but I was impressed at how clean everything was, especially for the mere price I paid, it was same price as the hostels in Rome. Very quiet . Train to get every where is just right around the corner. Supermarket is just down stairs outside. restaurants is every where walking distance. Took the bus 62 to Vatican city. bus 62 is across the circle down the road , use google MAP or Rome to Rio for directions .

The positive: you can walk to the metro and be in centro histórico in about 15 minutes. The area around it is a quaint, clean and hospitable beautiful jazz’s with live music and jasmine-filled corridors.

The not-so-good: The room was by far, the smallest I have been to (including Japan, which is something).

Housekeeping: Our reservation was specified as a two bed accommodation and we were given one big bed. Next night, the housekeeping staff fixed the room and gave us two twin beds!!! GRAZIE

Front desk: The most condescending and rude in a while. Not unprofessional at al but with an attitude. After a long trip, we thought this was over-sensitivity on our part. But no, a different staff member next morning was as dry and condescending as the previous one.

In one phrase: we liked the hotel but definitely did not feel welcome.

The hotel was very close to the Bologna metro station and only 10-15 minutes away from city center! The staff was friendly! The hotel room was small and there were 2 sets of stairs just to get to the elevator and when one is traveling with heavy suitcases, it is inconvenient. We arrived before check in time and I was told we would be able to keep our bags safe in a room until then but they states there was no more space, so they kept our luggage in the lobby. The hotel is located right next to a supermarket and has many restaurants around it. The area is very popular with younger adults as there is many bars around the hotel. It is just around the corner from the metro and takes only 10-15 minutes to get to Roma Termini! Staff was nice and helpful!

Over priced hotel

Stayed for one night and i was glad that was only for that period. The room was poorly designed and lacked the rating of 3* to 4*. And the cost of nearly 50 € was way to over inflated. This is not a hotel that i would stay at again. Very poor and the decor is old and out dated.

Unfortunately this hotel is very old and ugly!

It’s best to look elsewhere. I feel bad for the staff who work there. The rooms were old and tiny. Toilet seat was cracked, the ceiling and windows just bad and you have to haul your bags up to the first floor in order to use the lift. The maids do a good job but it still doesn’t make up for the gross carpet and bedding. The breakfast was horrible. The only pro was the proximity to the metro.

The hotel needs renovation. The beds are a bit sqeeky and could use softer pillows. Service at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was basic but adequate. This hotel has easy access to the metro and is close to long distance bus service. It's in a lively student area rather than a tourist area. It was inexpensive and good for a short stay.

Quite and nice hotel

The stay was really nice, the friendly staff let us into the room even before the chek in time. Not so many people in the hotel - very quite. For breakfast there is a rich choice of good food and not many people to eat it. The area is a bit far from the center, but there is a metro right around the corner.

It's a nice hotel to stay in the city centre, the facilities in the room are a bit out dated, so not great. Lovely location about 2mins walk from the Metro station, with a 24 hrs shop next to it. Nice places to eat,etc

Convenient neighborhood with Metro and bus service and close to the Tiburtina Train Station. Longish walk to Termini and a bit longer to tourist sights. Close to parks and to restaurants and food shopping. Friendly staff and reasonably decent breakfast. Broken elevator, broken television, sometimes broken plumbing and intermittent Wifi access. Large balcony that is kept locked without guest access. Guest rooms are largely populated with high school groups.

Cheap/Comfy/Convenient!

Looking for a cheap place to stay w/ no frills but don't want to \"slum\" it? This is the place you're looking for. Just needed to stay one night until group reservation check in somewhere else. So all I needed was a bed & water coming out of some type of faucet. Single bedroom was pretty small, bed & sheets nothing special, but good value for the price. Bathroom was a pleasant surprise - it's palatial compared to the bedroom! Nice fixtures & sun lit. If you care, the TV was pretty small & had no channels in English... But you also probably should have stayed home. If you're a smart traveller & just need a place to sleep & shower so you can spend your $ on something you'll actually remember in this beautiful city, I would highly recommend this place. Sure, they still use actual metal keys, & the interior decor will take you back to the more glamorous days of 1970s Rome, but breakfast is included & a taxi to Tiburtina costs 6 Euros. I know a good deal when I see one!

Rooms in poor condition, grumpy staff

We had to change rooms three times- once because there was a smell of sewage in the room, then the taps weren't working and finally we were moved to a small room on our third night. The staff were reluctant to help and had incredibly poor customer service skills. The hotel is nice aesthetically but the rooms and service are of very poor quality and i would not recommend.

pleasant neighborhood hotel

Lively neighborhood and well run hotel on the whole. Concern about street noise was resolved by thick glass window and good AC. A little more attention to detail, e.g. a small maintenance issue that never did get addressed. Breakfast quite nice, and a smile will get you a fresh cup of cappuccino rather than the pitchers of cooling coffee referred to in other reviews.

Near Roma Tiburtina train station

Hotel is an alternative to staying in the more tourist areas of Rome. Price wise it's good value and clean.
If you travel by the alternative private Italo fast speed train it often only goes to Roma Tiburtina station (not Roma Termini). The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk up a reasonable hill. We had two large trolley bags and it was ok put needs to be considered. Plenty of taxis if needed.
The hotel has a lift but it starts on the first floor so we had to manhandle up a narrow flight of stairs (no hotel assistance). If you have a lot of bags it may be worth considering something with easier access.
The best aspect of the hotel is the area which is definitely not full of tourists. There is a great local bar called the \"Meeting Place\" across the road and we also had a really good authentic meal at one of the local restaurants.

Although the hotel is close to the metro, it is quite a distance from the major places of interest. the hotel may have been very good in the past, it now reqiures a major refurbishment. Avoid the rooms on the 6th floor they are not very good. the hotel is bed and breakfast only, no other facilities (no bar etc). The hotel was clean and the staff at reception were helpful.

Very handy next to the metro station but a few stairs to the subway entrance. Also in the hotel the lift is on the first floor up a couple of flight of stairs which is not helpful. Dated interior but OK. Breakfast was OK but the service was slow and only one member of staff at any time. OK but there must be better hotels out there.

Conveniently located & comfortable

Stayed here early in July - two sharing a twin room. The room was clean, comfy, with air conditioning which was really great as it was very hot in the city. Beds were comfy enough for a good nights sleep and the road is pretty quiet so we slept well. The rooms are cleaned daily - beds were remade and new towels supplied every day while we were out. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast was very sufficient and fuelled us for a day of sight seeing.

The metro is located around the corner so the location couldn't be better for getting into the city and to all the main attractions. This is a really good hotel for those willing to stay outside of city centre to save some pennies - the metro passes are cheap and the services are quick and regular so we found it highly convenient. It's only a few stops away from the centre so you can be in the city within 10-15 minutes of walking out of your room.

We were both really happy with our stay here and would stay here again.

Our ac was not working. The guy at the front desk told me it would be an hour before someone would be there. That turned into 4.5! I asked to be switched to another room, he said they had none, but when I went online it said they still had rooms available. I told him that, and miraculously they had another room open up. What a joke. The room itself was really nice, so I'm bummed we had such a bad experience.

I was told mixed reviews abt this hotel by my experience was pathetic. Firstly, the elevator was one floor up so me and my wife had to carry our luggage to a mini elevator. Then the room that was given to us didnt have the ac working. When asked they told us to change the room by ourselves. The room that was given was stinking so badly that we could hardly stay a night there. Next morning when we told manager our problems he literary stood up and gave me a staring look and told me to stay or leave.Worst ever experience and on top of everything breakfast served was the worst ever.

Walls needed painting. Few steps from the subway. I did not find anything interesting for a tourist in the neighborhood. Appears to be an old hotel. Staff is friendly. If I were to visit Rome again, would looking for a hotel in the northern part of the city, maybe away from the train station ( Termini ). Would go back to this hotel if I could not find anything better for the same price.

Convenient, but not great.

The best thing the Hotel San Giusto has going for it is its relatively convenient location. It is just steps from Metro line A, which runs directly to Termini station, the Colosseo and Circus Maximus. There is also a full-service supermarket (with a fantastic bakery and deli) just outside the hotel entrance, which was great for picking up snacks and bottled water. The room was TINY and very difficult to move around in, and while it had an ensuite bathroom with shower, it took over 5 minutes for the shower water to warm up. The room had a private air-conditioner, which is an absolute must if you are traveling in Rome in the summer. The cable tv is all Italian tv stations, with the exception of CNN in English. There was a good-sized fridge in the room, with plenty of room for non-mini-bar items.We had problems at the very beginning with the Hotel San Giusto, which were sort-of fixed, but it was very frustrating. When I booked the room, I made sure to reserve a double-bed room. And my [...]reservation stated on its face that it was a double bed room reservation. When I called to confirm, the hotel clerk said that it was a single twin bed room! After much arguing with the clerk [...], it was resolved. Until I got there, and they told me that it was a 2 twin bed room, not the double bed room I had booked. Also, despite the fact that [...]reservation states that check-in is at 1:00pm, they will not let you check-in until 2:30pm, which was a huge hassle. Every day there were guests in the lobby waiting to be able to check-in. The breakfast provided is plentiful, but average. They have bread, cold-cuts, cheese, sweet rolls, juice and coffee (often cold). Tables were often not re-set after earlier diners had eaten breakfast.While the location was convenient, I would not stay there again.

Great location for the value

Location was excellent since the subway station was around the corner from the hotel. What's also convenient is that the grocery market is right next to the hotel, so you don't have to spend tourist prices for snacks, bottled water, etc. when you go to the tourist locations. Downside is that there is no elevator from the lobby to the 1st level. You'll have to haul your suitcases up the stairs, then take the elevator from the 1st floor to your room. There is also no safe in the room, only at the front desk. However, I got a great value on this hotel.

Worst hotel experience I've had in any country. I have never reviewed a hotel but my experience was so terrible at this hotel, I hope no one cuts their trip short in Rome, like I did, by staying here. Save your money, you are better off reserving a room at hostel. My a/c did not work the first night, I had to sleep in a friends room. They moved me to another room. Got in late and the a/c didn't work again. Went to the reception and they were extremely rude and said they could do nothing about it. Finally after to arguing with them they moved me to a room with spider webs and a tv that did work, but did have a/c. When I went to talk to them about the tv, they were again rude and said they could do nothing about it. Extremely unaccomodating. Never offered reimbursement for not being able to sleep in their rooms or moving me to a disgusting room. I've had better service at hostels. Everytime I was at reception they were arguing with guests. Save your money, book elsewhere!

Was there only for one night, so was glad to have a clean room, with nice hot showwer & clean bathroom.Hotel location is convenient ,but possible to miss the main entrance if you are wolking in the wrong direction.Be warned, the elevator is very small by US standards, and you do have to go up at least one flight of stiars with your luggage.(also, be aware that you must leave your key at the desk when going out).Overall, not a \"bad\" hotel, but I suspect you could find better at a similar price.

San Giusto

Room was on small side with a good sized bathroom.
It's just around the corner from the mertro stop which was very convenientm, blue line including Coloseum and Circus Maximus stops.
Just outside the front entrance was a supermarket which was extremely convenient for all the things that are difficult to bring on planes nowadays.
Make sure you have power converter for the 3 vertical prong outlets they use, lucking the hotel had one for me to use.
Bar, tv-room, and internet were right at lobby and baggage check was atessentially the bar/internet area.
Never saw any of the three used, only baggs left near the bar. Seemed like they were there so they could list them as amenities.
They sell card with passwords for wifi access $5 gets 3 hours $10 gets 8.
There was construction going on just outside the hotel entrance but the room are to the rear and I never heard any noise from the construction.
All of the staff spoke english well.
Tv had CNN and 4-5 italian stations/

I would say this hotel was perfect for what I needed it for. A bed for sleep, a place to shower, freshen up. If your in Rome to spend time in a hotel, this place is not for you, if your there to see the sigths enjoy the fine restaurants and have a place to stay nearby that is affordable and on the nicer side. this place is great.

Het was een prima hotel. Het is allemaal wel wat oud en klein. Wij hoefden alleen te slapen en te douchen en daardoor was het goed, maar wanneer je tijd op de kamer door wilt brengen is de kamer daarvoor te klein. Ontbijt was goed, maar beperkt.

Abbiamo soggiornato al S. Giusto solo per una notte. La receptionist allo sportello si è dimostrata gentile e disponibile. Le nostre stanze erano al primo piano, dotate di bagno in camera e riscaldamento (condizionatore in una, termosifone nell'altra), pulite e fornite del necessario. Si accede al primo piano tramite scale. La colazione, servita in una sala dedicata sempre al primo piano, era inclusa nel prezzo, varia, abbondante e di buona qualità. È stato un po' difficile trovare parcheggio in strada, ma la posizione dell'hotel (a due passi dalla stazione Bologna), ci ha permesso di muoverci agevolmente in metro.
Pro: posizione, pulizia, tranquillità, colazione.
Contro: difficoltà a parcheggiare in strada.

Ottima struttura, adiacente a Piazza Bologna e alla metropolitana. Camera (singola) ottima con bagno privato e con doccia posta a un gradino da terra per evitare allagamenti. Colazione ampia e buona.

Quartos minúsculos , sujos , sem as comodidades apresentadas no site , elevador minúsculo é só depois de quatro lances de escada. Única coisa boa a localização. . Alguns poucos funcionários mais atenciosos , a maioria nao. Muito barulhento e a janela de um dos quartos não abria

Il peggior albergo di roma!!! Prestate molta attenzione: camere fatiscenti, condizionatori non funzionanti o inesistenti, personale poco incline a risolvere anche i problemi più elementari, pulizia scarsa, mobilio vetusto, materasso vecchio di 30 anni. Soggiorno vergognoso. Le autorità non dovrebbero permettervi di rimanere aperti.

Sono stata una notte a Roma e ho soggiornato in questo hotel, molto vicino alla fermata della metro B Bologna. L'hotel è molto semplice, la mia stanza singola era giusta per una sola persona, il bagno abbastanza piccolo. Una delle pecche della stanza è l'aria condizionata, assolutamente necessaria a Roma d'estate, che funzionava soltanto a tratti. Albergo molto silenzioso, anche considerata la zona piuttosto vivace, con colazione abbondante.

Basically bed and breakfast. Quite cost effective while amenities supplied is minimal (towels + shampoo + hand soap). Located on top of metro station and 5 minutes walk to major train station (best for transfers to other cities)

Hotellets morgenmad giver en god start på dagen.

Dejligt lille hotel lidt væk fra det travle Rom. Intet problem at komme ind til de centralt beliggende seværdigheder, da der ligger en metrostation lige om hjørnet.

l'albergo è vecchio e fatiscente. mi si è rotta la doccia che mi è praticamente crollata in mano(la hanno poi sostituita), il giorno dopo mancava l'acqua calda e in generale l'albergo è sporco e tenuto male(i termosifoni sono pieni di polvere all'inverosimile!). Manca la manutenzione in generale.Da notare che l'albergo si trova al primo piano e che per salire al primo piano NON c'è l'ascensore e ci sono almeno 30 gradini da fare.
The hotel is old and crumbling.The showerhead was broken and then substituted and in general the hotel is managed in a very bad way..the radiators are full of dust! The hotel is at the first floor with no lelevator to get to the first floor..only 30 stepsto do!
