Stayed there because my wife had an operation. When we arrived we had a room with double beds instead of queens, asked to upgrade my room, not free but willing to pay the extra was told i could not. Staff said they would bring a comfortable chair for my wife… never did. When talking with manager at check out apparently the clerk was new and didn’t know i could upgrade. Well too late now, horrible stay as wife was in pain. 3 hours drives home would have been better. No compensation nothing offered appart from a sorry

The room itself was laid out nice. I would rate it more like a 2.5 star hotel. When I went to get into the best there was a bug under the pillow. Thankfully it was a common outdoor bug and not anything associated with uncleanliness of the hotel. When we went to go to sleep all we could hear until 1am was a screaming child who was tantruming. When we made a complaint at the front desk, nothing was done to provide us with any kind of compensation or offer any true customer service to us knowing we had a bad experience, They simply said … well you need to call us about loud environment and we are sorry we can’t do anything about the bug because it’s a common outdoor bug. I was very very disappointed with the lack of compassion and desire to make the customer happy.

The hotel is very confortable and quiet , the pool and the hot tub are a plus . The area is pretty . The only downside was the restaurant at the hotel was only open in the morning, and therefore we had to order in . Some restaurants in the area close very early 7pm week days and some are closed on the week-end.

We found Chateau Logue to be a simple, quiet and comfortable place to stay. The only things we might suggest is having proper pillows on the bed(one was a small square throw pillow with a pillow case over it) and having bilingual signage on everything, not just some things :-).
Overall we would stay again.

The Chateau was under renovation last year and it looks like they never finished. There were drywall patches that were never painted. The carpets were filthy. The dining room and bar are closed! The location is great and with some TLC the facilities can be again, but not right now.

There seems to be a glitch in the reservation system at this hotel. We were charged twice for our one-night stay: first in advance online and then again at check-in (though for a slightly different amount). While we were eventually reimbursed by the hotel for the extra bill we had paid at check-in, the seemingly ill-trained front-desk clerk didn't know how to access the Expedia system (to verify our original payment), or when to call a manager for help.

The hotel and facilities were great, and we hope to return next time we visit the Maniwaki area. It's also very good value, but we'll avoid paying in advance through Expedia.

Third time returning. No perks, restaurant closed, construction in hallway and grass cutting really early in the morning. We asked to be on the other side of the hotel because our last stay was in the exact same room and grass cutting / leaf blower occurred also really early right by our hotel window. We left early with a sour taste of our visit

This property has a lot of potential to be a great place. Unfortunately they are missing the mark on the rooms as they are basic, vs the price point of the hotel itself. Hotel offers a pool and hot tub, work room and Sauna. The water in the Hot tub needed to be changed, and there was no instructions on how to operate the tub, as it is residential grade, so there was more required then pressing a button. Sauna was closed and was being used as a storage closet for cleaing supplies. Couple little improvments and this place would be great !

The room was dirty, and the coffee machine didn’t work. We went to the front desk and asked if someone could fix it while we were at breakfast.

At the restaurant, the staff tried to seat us at the door because we didn’t have a reservation—even though it was 8 a.m. and the reserved tables were for much later, around 11 a.m. or 12 noon. They eventually gave us a different table, but we were repeatedly told we had to leave by 11 a.m.

The food was cold and inedible, and the server only came back at the end of the meal. We had barely touched our plates, but she just took them away without asking if something was wrong or if we needed anything.

When we returned to our room, it was full of dirt and small rocks left behind by the maintenance man, who had walked through the entire space with his shoes on.

There were no towels at the pool or front desk. We were told someone would bring them to us, but after waiting a while, my husband—soaking wet—had to go get them himself. Even then, they only gave us two towels for three people.

The front desk staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. We came here to enjoy ourselves, and while we did our best to make the most of it, the experience was extremely disappointing.

The Prestige room was fabulous, very classy with great space, comfortable beds and quiet. We did have an issue with the shower door which was off its railings but it didn’t prevent us from showering. I would suggest that the staff explain how the spa works at check-in as it is unique setup.

We were attending a wedding at the venue and were trying to check in. The lady at the counter apologize for the fact that the regular person didn't show up and that she had never done check ins before and it might take some time. All of this in french. I am english. I had to get someone to translate. I realize that we were in Quebec, but there should be someone available to speak to patrons in English. Our room was clean but very cold and damp. It also smelled of incense. The beds were kinda lumpy and I didn't sleep very well and had a very sore back when I woke up. It wasn't the best stay at a hotel we have ever had.

My A/C was broken. When is told the girl if it was normal, she told me \"i don't know\" and nothing else. I had to see my families room to see it wasn't and ask another room. She gave it to me but she should've help me more at first. Her attitude wasn't bad but wasn't great. She wasn't really friendly or helping by her own. She does what she needs and nothing more. Her tone was dull all the way. Also, in my second room, the hot tub in the shower wasn't clean properly. The hot tub jet was red and dirty and the bath was damaged and patch. The toilet chain was broken and i had to repair it everytime i flushed because of curse the girl upfront wasn't helping with the a/c so i did't dare to ask for the toilet, but it wasn't hard to do on my own. My light on the balcony was broken too. Finally on expedia it says there's an iron for clothes but there isn't (but the hotel should offer it.)
