A hotel used on and off for over 20 years but it desperately needs reconstruction. The rooms get very stuffy in the summer and the window only opens a few centimetres. Also what use is a bar that's only open Monday to Friday 0900 to 1500?
Staff though are excellent and deserve a better working environment.

This hotel has no Wi-Fi in the rooms. In my 2 days I had no Wi-Fi. I reported it to Adam Jedlicka who is the most depressed, miserable and unhelpful person you will ever see. He lied that provider has a problem and it would be sorted. It didn’t get sorted. Next day he lied again saying Wi-Fi is available but it wasn’t. Reception doesn’t answer the phone. A new lady on Night shift asked mechanic to do something and Wi-Fi still wasn’t available in the room. It was only available in the lobby. I was told by Adam Jedlicka, the receptionist to sit in the lobby to get Wi-Fi.

Rooms description inside more information is wrong! There is stated smoking and non smoking rooms but the fact is there is no smoking rooms, even any smoking area inside the hotel.

Pleasant stay at Hotel Cernigov

I had a pleasant stay. It was over the Easter weekend and so was quiet most places.Even the hotel seemed to be running on low staff, but it didn't impact on me. The talk I heard was that this place was to be torn down in the near future. This is a pity, as it was quite OK inside.

The hotel is directly across from the station (it's the ugly tower block spoiling the view) so ultra handy for exploring the area by train. My room was hot and stuffy with no aircon and the windows were hard to prop open. Oddly you could still hear train and tram noise with them closed even though I was 8 floors up, great views though.

Staffing at the front desk was rather erratic but if there was somebody they could be relied upon to help. Queues for the breakfast if you go early (7-8am) and almost always for the lifts at anytime. Good value in my opinion.

A Communistic Experience!

The hotel was not as bad as some reviews suggest and given that the airshow and festival were on in the town over the weekend, the hotel was busy but seemed to be run efficiently with very pleasant staff.

It is very nicely located hotel. Close to the city centre but also close to the bus and train and city transport. It is shame it didn't have any air conditioning otherwise it was a nice hotel

A no go hotel

In this hotel it is allowed to smoke... So Lobby and bar is a no go area. That should be mentioned when booking. Staff is rude, probably because of the lack of English language skills. Room is small, shower is really small. Room was badly cleaned, dust everywhere. Small old tv with loose cables everywhere. Bed has a cheap matrass, very uncomfortable. No climate control, no normal curtains, some kind of a flimsy see through fabric so the room is lit up at 4.30 AM. Windows do not open properly. elevator capacity is not nearly enough for the size of the hotel so be prepared to wait or take the stairs. No real coffee nor juice for breakfast, cannot order espresso because bar opens up at 9 AM. Used by many tour operators for a cheap night over but this results in long lines for the breakfast buffet as soon as the restaurants opens. Location is close to station and 15 min walk from centre.

Hotel Cernigov is located directly across the street from the train station. I was attending a 3-day music festival and didn't feel like camping out so this was the next best option. The hotel itself is rather dated, the outside is unappealing, elevators are old and the windows in the rooms are ancient and hard to open. The wi-fi was intermittent and when it was working was rather slow. The free breakfast was great, some hot items as well as the standard european spread. I would stay here again to attend another festival, but it would probably not suffice for business.

The hotel is dated, worn and in need of updating. That being said the hotel is clean and comfortable. The restaurant was closed when I arrived about 16:30 so I ordered form the bar menu. The meal was adequate but could have been better. Breakfast on the other hand was varied and of good quality. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All things considered the hotel is a good value for the price and location.

Very unfriendly staff!!

I cam to this hotel to spend one night, chose it due to the location- right across from the train station. Upon my arrival I was told that my reservation doesn't appear on the computer, nor my name or itinerary number. The lady at the reception kept me waiting without updating me what's going on, not answering my questions and basically looking at the computer and ignoring me. Eventually she told me they had no available rooms. Only after I succeeded to get her attention did she find two available rooms like I reserved, without an apology or anything.
Besides that- the hotel stood up to my expectations, just a normal place to spend a night for an occasion close by.
Only minus- no A/C and the rooms are very small and hot.
Personally, I'd rather stay in the much more expansive hotel in this little town if I only knew...

Arrived at the hotel to be greeted with confusion - there was no record of our booking. Eventually this was sorted, but the service received on arrival verged on plain rude. No manners, nor even a smile. Not the greatest welcome after a day's travelling.

Room was basic, but did the job for a 3 night stay. Sheets were clean, room was tidy, shame about the skid marks left in the toilet! There is no safe in the room, but apparently there is at reception. After our initial 'welcome', we didn't risk this. Also, the 'designer toiletries' do not at all live up to their name - bring your own!

Buffet breakfast was ok - selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, hot dogs, soup, cakes etc. Also orange squash, tea and coffee. Served 6.30-10am.

Over the 3 days, service did improve (when a different receptionist was on duty). Staff at the bar seemed nice enough too.

A warning if you need to use the internet - bring a laptop! We were expecting to check in online for our flight home after reading that the hotel has internet. However this is only wireless access. There are no computers to use, so we had to find an internet café when we travelled to Prague.

Another note - English isn't spoken as fluently as in tourist-oriented areas, which is fair enough. So it helps to learn a few basic Czech phrases.

Overall, the hotel is basic, but we just used it as a base to sleep, wash and eat breakfast, then went out for the day. If this is all you need, it serves its purpose.

Hôtel de l'ère soviétique rénové à minima. Chambre exiguë sans climatisation, sans ventilateur (caution obligatoire), sans bouteille d'eau (malgré la canicule), sans réfrigérateur, sans sèche-cheveux. Fenêtre de la chambre jamais nettoyée à l'ouverture problématique. Salle de bain super étroite. Impossibilité de se garer devant la réception sauf à utiliser l'immense parking payant (tarifs élevés).

Das Hotel hätte eine Fassaden Renovierung notwendig. Der äussere Anblick täuscht, denn die Innenräume sind in gutem Zustand. Gute Betten, helles aber kleines Bad. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und vielseitig. Freundliches Personal. Die Altstadt ist in ca 20 Minuten erreichbar. Der Bahnhof in 300m Entfernung

Som erfart før, synes hotellet å være en diger murkoloss ute på den tsjekkiske landsbygda, som stammer fra gamle østblokkens tid. Det sagt vil det være greit at teppet på rommet renses jevnlig, og at gardinene vaskes minst like ofte - skyves gardinene til side for å åpne vindu (ikke aircondition på rommet), forventes det at man slipper å få ei sky av støv og støvmidd i trynet! Rommet var ellers greit nok, verken mer eller mindre, men hadde kjøleskap. Frokosten var også grei nok, og hotellet ble valgt pga. nærhet til busstasjonen.

Eine der wichtigsten Sachen bei geschäftliche Reisenden ist die Internetverbindung im Zimmer. Die war leider so schlecht, dass man überhaupt nicht arbeiten konnte.
Aus diesem Grund werde ich definitiv einen anderen Hotel in Hradec Kralove bei meiner nächsten Reise wählen.

Sehr zentral gelegen und praktisch.

Die Lage gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof ist nicht zu toppen. Ansonsten ist das Haus so, wie man in der drei Sterne Kategorie erwartet. Alles soweit in Ordnung. Das Frühstücksbüfett war sehr gut.

Hotel by již potřeboval zásadní rekonstrukci, během našeho pobytu byly venkovní teploty okolo 30 stupňů Celsia a v pokojích se nedalo v noci ani spát, vzhledem k absenci jakékoli klimatizace nebo ventilace, otevírání starých oken je velmi nepohodlné a špalíčky k podepření otevřených oken, aby se nezavřela jen završily celkový dojem z tohoto hotelu. Znovu bychom uvažovali o pobytu v tomto hotelu pouze po jeho úspěšné demolici nebo kompletní rekonstrukci.

Po ubytovani se vhotelu jsme na recepci resili wifi, manzel musel vyridit nejakou praci na netu, bylo nam receno, ze wifi - router restartuji. Wi-fi stale nefungovala, a az nocni recepcni, nam sdelila, ze hotel nema wifi pokryti. Kdyz jsme se snazili domluvit druhy den na nejakem funkcnim reseni, pustil se do nas recepcni, ze hotel nikde neinzeruje, ze by byl pokryt wifi, pry je vsude uvedeno, ze garance wifi je pouze na recepci.
Pricemz mu za zady bezela reklama, ze je hotel vybaven wifi.
Pristup personalu, ktery vi, ze wifi neni a mlzi, je nehorazny!
A pokud nekdo potrebuje net, nejezdete do tohoto hotelu!
K tomu, na pisemnou stiznost, hotel nereagoval!

Oceňuji blízkost vlakového nádraží. I když jsme měli okna k nádraží, vlaky nás nerušily. S vybavením pokoje jsme byli spokojeni, jen ta okna... Zvenku vypadá hotel hůře než zevnitř. Jídlo bylo výborné, personál vstřícný.

Návrat do socialismu. Hotel dlouhá desetiletí bez investic. Při příchodu na pokoji více než 30 stupňů Celsia, odrbaný nábytek, omšelé sociálky, nutno říct, že čisto. Okno směrem nádraží - hluk odpoledne, hluk večer i ráno. Odpovídající cena za ubytování by měla být max 500 Kč.

Quase uma experiência soviética

Hotel da época da URSS. Visual, acomodações e estrutura bem ultrapassados. No entanto, a limpeza estava boa, banheiro relativamente novo, ducha ótima e inclui café da manhã. O buffet não é dos melhores, mas quebra um galho. A localização é o forte. É exatamente de frente para a estação de trens da cidade, ao lado de um shopping.

Velice ochotný personál.

Velice ochotný personál na recepci, který se snažil vyjít vstříc i kuřákovi v nekuřáckém hotelu a přemístil nás na pokoj s balkonem. Při zápisu hned seznámil se všemi důležitými věcmi, jako kdy jsou snídaně, do kdy se odhlásit, atd.

Hotel na výborném místě, velké parkoviště (mohlo by být v ceně ubytování a ne zvlášť), dostupnost kamkoliv doprava luxus, služby a personál opravdu úžasně milý a vstřícný, velká spokojenost.Pokoj uklizený čistý, jen z něj dýchá na každém kroku trošku minulý režim,asi by to zasloužilo rekonstrukci.Jen díky poloze u obou (Bus i vlak) nádraží trošku hluk z dopravy celou noc.Příjemné snídaně.
