The hotel (which we have stayed at the past 3 visits), had no tv service for the entire trip. House keeping seemed to be very spotty and not as good as past visits. Other than that it’s always great to stay at the Flamingo.

In the first 4 days they did NOT clean the room twice. The first time I Talked to the front desk got told I am giving you $50 credit at restaurant at Flamingo. YA right IT NEVER happened. Second time I asked for 4 towels so we could clean up prior to going to bed at 11pm, got told NO. You can not get close to the reception/check in desk as very little staff working. Went to casino floor boss, laid out my complaint, he took me over and went to shift supervisor and requested she talk to me, had to wait till the next day to get anything done. She did get us towels.

The Room had Mold in the Closet and Bathroom Vents Tons of Dirt. Shower Head rusted and crusty. I couldn't put my clothes in the closet because of the mold. But the overall room was definitely clean. I did a video of the room for future views.

Pools were open to public. Bad idea. Over crowded. Rooms are dated and furniture banged up. TV channels. stopped working on second day. Property wise issue where signal was lost and only had a few channels. Smudges on ceiling light fixtures. Casino is nice and food selection on premise pretty good. Like central location on strip. Pinky's is great. Drinks at pool are crazy expensive. Two doubles with 20 percent tip were 102 bucks. A double and a coke with tip 62 bucks! This ain't the Wynn... C'mon!!!!

All in all decent is the rating I would give the Flamingo. If they update the rooms and clear the General Public out of the pools it would be a definite return for us

We stayed here for the Kenny Chesney/Sphere show on a recommendation from another friend who has had positive experiences. This was not my first trip to Vegas, or even my second or third, but it was my first time staying here. Overall, the hotel was ok. The common spaces were clean, there were plenty of options for food and drink, and the pool (we only visited the Go Pool) was fine. My issue is that in the four days we spent there, we never received room cleaning, not even once. We even called down to ask for someone to come up, since we had trash stacking up and no clean towels. We were told it would be done, and it never was. Finally, we asked to speak with a manager, who told us it was a staffing issue, which, while I am sympathetic to, is not my problem as a paying customer. I was fine with not having the room cleaned every day, but ONE time in four days shouldn't be too much to ask. They eventually sent someone, after the manager called at 10pm, and they changed the sheets on my friend's bed, and did nothing else. No trash removal, no new bedding for my bed, no vacuuming or new towels. Based on this alone, and the fact that no one seemed to care about the issue we were experiencing, I would not stay here again. It's Vegas...plenty of options out there.

The room was good enough for the weekend but it did not have a coffee machine and the trash can was tiny. We asked for clean towels when we needed them and the trash to be taken out but they only brought the towels. The family pool was nice, but definitely go early or else it does get crowded. Some of the staff was very kind and helpful while others made us feel like we were bothering. However, being right near the middle of the strip was so great and convenient, and overall the trip was very fun.

Check-in was pretty rough. Hotel has installed a bunch of self check-in machines but unfortunately most were out of order so check-in took almost an hour late at night. For a hotel this size I would’ve expected a few more folks working the front desk. Workers were pleasant and trying their best to get through the line. Hotel rooms desperately need a fan in bathrooms as it looks like mold was trying to start growing on the bathroom ceiling. Pool was fantastic with a live DJ and poolside bar. Their spa was also amazing and highly recommend.

I really don’t want to waste my time reviewing a poor Hotel, but maybe this can warn others to move on to a nicer place. The staff was nice enough if you could find one, there were only two at the long check-in desk helping 100 or more people try to check in and this is on a Wednesday at 3:30 mind you. They have a mobile check-in kiosk. There were eight of those stations however a little hard to figure out but once I figured it out, it gave me a message that my room was not ready. They would send me an email when my room was ready. Now keep in mind. It’s about 4 o’clock now and check-in time is 3 o’clock. After waiting in line for 30 or so minutes, the Clerk said that my room was not ready because of the high occupancy and some BS about a key problem. I reserved my room weeks ahead of time online through Travelocity and I chose a specific room facing the nature habitat. When the Clerk returned with my key and after going to my room on the 27th floor, I discovered my room did not face the wildlife habitat. It faced the east right into other buildings. The clerk maybe was trying to be nice by giving me that room because you could see the Bellagio fountains from there, but that’s not what I reserved. I had read and watched videos about this hotel, and liked it because it was an original Hotel for the nostalgia however, I would at least expect them to remodel or not have all the original everything.. I think the carpet in the hallways was the only thing that has been remodeled.

It was a great time. If it’s your first time staying here, be prepared to go at it alone. No one to help with anything. We managed and all by ourselves —-found our room, the casinos, the strip, the shops, the food and the restrooms. I will stay here again.

Casino is very nice, and honestly it was one of my favorite setups of the strip. There ARE levels to the vibes though. The flamingo is for everyone. No one person feels out of place or like someone doesn’t belong there. Servers are always on the move, so tip them well and the drinks come your way (possibly even the premium stuff).
Don’t waste your time on the food court. There’s nothing of note there. $11 large slice of pizza at Bonanos, $21 burger and fry combo at Johnny rockets, $11 pretzel bites at Auntie Anne’s.
Go to the Promenade and get In-n-Out (absolute best value for food), go to the back alley and get ramen or an insane shawarma pita, walk the strip and hit CVS. For your money, at the beginner/first trip level, go to The Flamingo. Just book DIRECTLY through them. Not Expedia.

Enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo with the exception of one thing... the night we were there, they had closed off the elevators to our tower and were making everyone use one set. There were police everywhere and they were being very dramatic about keeping everyone out of one area. Turned out to be a jumper outside somewhere. There was NO reason to create the elevator drama... caused a major problem getting to our room. They could have definitely handled that better. Otherwise, the theme of the hotel is fun, the room was clean and the staff is very quick to bring you anything you need. Also in a great location relative to everything else to do.

I checked in at 2AM on Monday. Later that day I had no hand soap or lotion at the bathroom sink. I called and the y said they don't do that anymore. I also had a shower handle that was lose. I finally made it work. I also told them about that. I like Flamingo but it's not for me anymore.

Love the go pool. The staff at the pool are great!! I had a do not disturb on my door for the entire time. On Tuesday 6/16 I got a knock on my door. It was security. They wanted to check the room. Now I met a girl at the pool & we were intimate about a half hour before. She left & I was taking a nap when they came. This was around 4:45PM. They said they had to check the room because of the do not disturb sign was on so long. First, they could have interrupted the girl & I if they came a little earlier. Second, they interrupted my nap. I felt this was intrusive to my privacy & uncalled for. I also, met a group of girls from Cleveland the Wednesday before at the pool. They said their room was broken into & they were robbed of about $5,000. They were staying at the Flamingo & they thought it was someone from the Flamingo staff. I don't like staff in my room. I want my privacy. That's what DO NOT DISTURB MEANS!!! I reached out to the Flamingo about this situation, but got no response. I also requested to have a wake up call at the front desk at 3:45AM on the Thursday the day I left. They said they would & I never got the call. Now, I was awake so I didn't miss my plane. But I got no call.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the room, other than that, it looks like a round down place, no ramps for luggage . I had to carry a wagon full of luggage down and up 10 steps as they closed an area where the ramp was for rebuilding.
The main issue I had was with the amenities. I booked this hotel specifically because of water slides and with kids i thought it was nice, I checked with their customer care before booking and they confirmed it's open on weekends which was fine with me based on my stay. I again called the guest services from the hotel room phone 30 mins before I left the room and they again confirmed that the slides are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.. 9-6, but when I go searching for it and ask I get to know it was permanently closed.. had the customer care folks gave me proper info I would have gone for a better hotel in the same price range.
The only thing available was the family pool which is joke in itself.. I mean apartments have bigger pools for much less people and to add to that half an hour in the pool and we/everyone were asked to leave because there was a power outage and there was not ETA, so we were expected to wait till they allow us back in.. They charge $50 for this crap..
I strongly suggest anyone looking at this hotel to look away and find a better hotel to spend their money.. I've been to Vegas many times and stayed in many hotels ...but this is by far the worst one..

I again called the guest services from the hotel room phone 30 mins before I left the room and they again confirmed that the slides are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.. 9-6, but when I go searching for it and ask I get to know it was permanently closed.. had the customer care folks gave me proper info I would have gone for a better hotel in the same price range.
The only thing available was the family pool which is joke in itself.. I mean apartments have bigger pools for much less people and to add to that half an hour in the pool and we/everyone were asked to leave because there was a power outage and there was not ETA, so we were expected to wait till they allow us back in.. They charge $50 for this crap..
I strongly suggest anyone looking at this hotel to look away and find a better hotel to spend their money.. I've been to Vegas many times and stayed in many hotels ...but this is by far the worst one..

Really enjoyed our stay. Our room was super cute. I love the retro rooms. My only thing was the bathrooms. Could’ve been a little bit more cleaner especially in the shower area. Staff was nice. The hotel itself was very nice and the amenities were great. Would definitely stay again.

If you are going for the party pool, this will be a good place to stay. Party pool is open to ANYONE! Even outside people not staying at the hotel. If you want a chair plan on getting in line at least one hour before the pool opens or you will need to rent a cabana. If you think you’re gonna be sitting at the relaxing family pool, there is no such thing! It is directly next to the party pool so all you hear is all that noise from the DJ and if you’re there with small children and don’t care for them to hear swear words, then I would suggest suggesting someplace else

i love staying at the flamingo i’ve stayed here more then once, the location is amazing it’s in the middle of the strip so everything is a close walk, right outside is linx promanod which has very cheap drinks. the room we stayed in was a renovated room (i’ve stayed in the old rooms and new rooms) and it was very nice very clean.

The Flamingo is a great place. The staff was always helpful and pleasant, the facilities gorgeous and the best value on the strip. My only complaint was the wifi and cell reception (Verizon) in my room was abysmal, I had to go down the hall to get decent signal.
If anybody reads this, pay attention at check-in, there is a set of kiosks that you can use for check in next to the registration desk. People were waiting 30-40 minutes to check in with a person - it took me 90 seconds to check-in using the kiosk (which also gave me my keys).
