The pools were great! The store is wonderful and has all of the necessities and more. The beach is incredible as well! If you choose to go off and explore, there are rental cars and buses very near!
The staff is so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed how we were treated by the staff!
Things we think need to be improved:
Limited kids club hours and it’s not very exciting for children as they often stay in and colour/paint. But the staff is lovely.
The turnover in the dining room is slow and some food service is very inefficient. I do think this is partly due to people not knowing how to tidy up after themselves and/or grab more than they need.

The staff were great and doing their best, but the place is just rundown and not well-maintained. Our air conditioning unit wasn’t working so they moved us rooms and the second one wasn’t working very well either. The pool and pool bar area are wonderful and right on the beach, but they close at 6 PM- really don’t understand that when it’s one of the nicest aspects of the place. Our goal was to visit the Knossos palace and catch our morning ferry- if we had to do it again, we would stay in downtown Heracleon.

Large site but split up into large areas and gardens to recline in private beach and guard a plus. North of islands is windy in September so large breakers. Food options good. Drinks and cocktails are all sweet tasting, head for pool bar and get a mojito from Chris’s alkways smiling happy and best not sweet mojito lovely lady.

I got there around 10pm and there was absolutely no options for food available in or around the hotel. I was told I had to go searching on the dark main road for an option to eat. I finally found one roughly a mile down the dark road.
Also, the lobby looks up to date but the rooms are old. Very dated. Breakfast options were good.

I don't understand how 5 strars!

We liked only the gardens, pools and the waterslides.

The house kipper and the receptionist with the gray hair were very very kind.
On the other hand, the staff in the dining room were not..

The food was nice.
The children's beds were uncomfortable, so they slept with us in the large bed.

The hotel is lil bit old.

We took the all inclusive deal.

Not a bad Hotel, def not 5*, more like 3-4.
The entertainment is next to non existent of an evening, in fact its the poorest Ive ever had in a complex.
Also in the whole 10 days we was there we never once found anybody else from the UK, Mainly German, French and eastern European.
The spa is good but not cheap!!
It is also a fair way from anything so you will need to get the bus or hire a car.

A rogues gallery! Run away from this place now.

The hotel is beside a massive electrical power sub-station. The staff lacks patience. I had a hotels.com booking and when I went to the front desk they told me they did not have the booking and that there were no rooms. I left and booked another hotel. Then they charged me for the room and justified it by saying that i had not properly read the cancellation policy. This hotel is run by rogues and has lost sight of customer care and the truth. Run away from it.

The room was beautiful and a nice view. Not full sea view as requested though, only partial view. Room was clean and had free water, wine, and fruit waiting for me. Pools and beach were beautiful. Beach restaurant was amazing. Gift shop was full of items and reasonably priced. However, the front desk people were not very friendly or helpful. When I asked for excursions, she said there were none. On my last day I found the guest services room and found there were many excursions available. When I asked for room service info, she said abruptly there was no room service menu. Offered no other info. When trying to get my return to the US Covid test, the front desk just said to sit in the lobby and wait for them to arrive to do the test. After waiting 45 minutes, he still said they would come. I gave up. When I asked the Guest Services lady, who was very nice and helpful, she said they don't come to the hotel. I had to travel by bus to get to them for the test. So the front desk gave me totally wrong information. I didn't purchase the all inclusive room and the front desk never gave me any information on how I could get meals and how much they would cost. Had to find out on my own. No hotel information given such as a map to find things on property, cost of meals, how to get clubs for mini golf, etc.

I like about this property is only one thing that its very close to beach but the food and other amenities are not good at all , worst part is wifi is free only for one device so if you are couple only one will get and other one has to pay .

Location good 30 Euro from airport.building good .staff excellent.bar attendant very helpful gave me milk free beach excellent .breakfast good.only thing is washroom not clean,towels has stain .bathtub need to be cleaned .there is lots of stain remover out there they can use also no fan ...book directly from the hotel because Expedia give you the fancy rate and that room is near the other hotel near by which has noise and live band all day .just make sure your room not that side .. enjoy

As a vegan couple looking to unwind in the sun, this was a fantastic place to visit. With the hotel situated on the beach, the location couldn't be better. Staff were always helpful and smiling. The main restaurant changed its food around daily and there were always a tonne of vegan options for each meal throughout the day. There is also a strictly vegan restaurant with an amazing menu which made our holiday perfect.

Not a bad stay, just not a 5 star stay. I rate it poorly because the spa staff began yelling at us when we wanted to cancel. The front desk didn’t do anything about it. The food wasn’t bad but it could be better. The pool is nice and very deep but closes very early.

Family friendly .They have attended to all our requests as if we were the one & the only guest at the hotel .All our requests have been fulfilled promptly . Fantastic swimming pool . Greek Tavern ( A la carte restaurant is amazing both staff , food & services . Staff at the reception are very helpful . Manageress is so pleasant , reliable & efficient . The open buffet has got variety of good quality food , we have never got bored of eating most of the days at it .
The hotel ground is amazing , comfortable & relaxing atmosphere .Swimming pools are clean , very good for all age groups ( adults, children even babies ) . Location s very near both to airport & City Centre . There were some glitches , but the over all impression was good , I would recommend it & i would go again .

Great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean an comfortable. Plenty of parking. Lots of amenities. Pools, play area for kids, terraces, bars , beach etc. Large rooms, large bathrooms, very good air conditioning, clean and good house keeping. Excellent breakfast with very good service, like omelettes cooked for you on the spot. A very well run hotel for this large size. Large tree shaded grounds and very convenient located a short ride from Heraklion. For the money a good deal. Check in very quick and smooth. Especially Mary is very helpful and resourceful.

A nice family oriented resort

Very nice property, clean and well maintained. The only drawback for us, was the number of families there with young children made it a little noisier and chaotic then we were expecting. That aside, great rooms, good restaurants and a fantastic beach to sit out at. Price was fair, and the staff everywhere were great.

Hoops, this property was a major disappointment. Although we have had excellent food and the rest of Greece, this property had very mediocre to poor food. Gym has very short hours and carries a surcharge, and there is no available hot tub at the pool. The location is suboptimal, as well.

over all a nice place

Over all we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
The location is good, not to far from the airport, good from day trips to the mountains Heraklion or Rethymno.
The private beach is very nice and the facilities are good for families with kids.
The dining room offers big variety of food that is over all good (some was very nice and some not too much).
Most of the hotel stuff is very nice but the reception was not kind and not nice at few points.
The communication prior to the visit with the hotel was frustrating - I just did not manage to receive any answer from them in any way for a very long time - what was solved after I called the Expedia support team. they were not much more communicative and was not even that nice during check at some points after.
The most upsetting thins was that GAP OF INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING AND AFTER ARIVING the hotel. they publish to have an in-door warm pool, but did not say that for kids it's only open only for 1 hour in the morning. They publish they have a gym, but not say it's open for free in the morning and that in the afternoon they charge 10 euros to use it. They publish they have 4 different restaurants in addition to the main dining room, but only one was open only for one day and with extra charge for guest who are not on the all-inclusive.
In general it felt that they did not fully opened for the season at the time we were there, which could be totally exactable if there was not a gap between what they sold us and what we received.

Brilliant holiday!

We went on a family holiday in August and the weather was perfect. The hotel was very family friendly and there was lots of things to keep the children busy. The hotel even had a kids pool with slides. The staff at the hotel were excellent. They were really kind and helpful at all times. We knew our children were safe at the resort and there was security outside to ensure that only residents came in. This is a great hotel for families. The children can enjoy themselves and the parents can relax in one of the many bars, restaurants or pools. There is a lovely spa if you fancy some treatments or a massage. There is not much near the resort so if you like exploring, you may want to hire a car. Overall, a really fantastic place!

OK hotel, but warning for couples!

Ok, so me and my partner wanted to switch off and have a week away all inclusive to be as lazy as we could be and not think of food etc. Still, as we are a young couple I rented out a car with the hope to drive to a couple of beaches and bars etc. So, the hotel delivered in the area of cleanliness, good food etc but I warn you (if you are a you g couple) that there are no bars or beaches nearby for \"fun\". I would definitely recommend staying in Chania as there are plenty of pop up bars and beautiful beaches for you to drive up to every day. Here in heraklion we were bound to the hotel. So, all in all, good experience the hotel was great (and we still managed to drive to Bali beach and the palacw of Knossos which is nearby) but this is a family orientated hotel. Loads of families and kids. If youre young, stay in Chania. Trust me, do the research (unlike I did :D). Ps: also Elafonissi beach is just off the coast of Chania (Elafonissi is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!).

This is not a five star Hotel!

Five star hotel?.. I do not think so!... not even four star. I give them three stars. Lobby looks OK but rooms look like you are in the motel. They give you one blue beach towel per person upon request at the reception, and you must return it upon departure or they charge you €30 per towel. I know I made you think now, and yes, they expect you not to wash this beach towel for the entire stay! Housekeeping service was bad, they even did not make beds well. Bathroom did not have exhaust bath fan so there was a lot of moisture after shower use. Bad cleaning. We stayed in the Hotel in the early season so I can not imagine how they handle things in the full season. Hotel is located in the bad nowhere area. Beach is not impressive. There are about eight chimneys polluting air not far away from the Hotel (you can see them on google maps). I would not recommend this place for vacation in Crete to anyone.

Alles in allem gut, wenn man sich auf das all inclusive einlässt. Wir waren, da mit Hund angereist. In den Bungalows. Die waren ok, aber von der Ausstattung etwas älter. Das Personal war durchgängig freundlich und nett. Das Buffet abwechslungsreich und für die all- in Gäste gab es Gutscheine in den separaten Restaurants mit Essen ala carte. Das war sehr empfehlenswert! Toll ist auch der Strand und die Möglichkeiten des Wassersports. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor der Anlage, Busse fahren alle 12 Minuten Richtung Heraklion.

Fantastiskt bra hotell med allt man kan tänkas behöva. Rekommenderar starkt att köpa all inclusive för bekvämlighetens skull få det är något du tjänar in fort om du stannar där någon/några dagar.

Rummet vi hade på plan 5 var stort och väldigt mysigt. Det var rent och fräscht på rummet.

Personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma på plats. Vattenkokaren på rummet slutade att fungera och vi fick genast en ny. Vi frågade också om det gick att byta flaskan med det röda vinet vi fick mot vitt och det var heller inga problem.

Vi hade initialt enbart betalt för boende och frukost, men märkte foer att det lönade sig med all inclusive och frågor vi kunde uppgradera vilket inte var några konstigheter.

L’hôtel en lui-même et tous les services ont été parfait. Le petit. Négatif serait un peu les alentours et après il y a possibilité de prendre les transports publics qui en a bien suffisamment ou une location de voiture ou les prix sont intéressants. Je conseille vivement cet hôtel que j’ai trouvé très intéressant avec un personnel sympathique

Das Hotel ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und an vielen Ecken abgenutzt und renovierungsbedürftig.
Leider ist auch der Zugang zum Meer extrem steinig/felsig, so dass man nur schwer ins Meer kommt.

Es gibt so viele schöne Hotels auf dieser tollen Insel… Empfehlung: bucht euch in einem der anderen ein.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, das Essen und die Einrichtung wind schön. Unser Badezimmer ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommem und sah nicht mehr so schön aus. Das Kraftwerk hat teilweise (vor allem früh morgens) bei schlechten Wind arg gerochen und ein wenig das Bild zerstört

C’est un bel hôtel. Le parc, les piscines et la plage privée sont vraiment bien entretenus et très agréables pour les adultes et les enfants.
La raffinerie d’à côté est cachée, mais bien là.
Le bar est très sympa et pro, avec un bon choix de cocktails… il faut prendre la formule all inclusive pour en profiter pleinement.
On a regretté de peu de diversité dans les buffets chaque jour. Et des produits de qualité moyenne.

Das erste Zimmer hatte schlechte Lage im 1. Stock; deshalb viele Moskitos, nachts kaum Schlafen möglich. Durch die Umbuchung während des Urlaubs bekam ich ein viel besseres Zimmer im 4. Stock, und keine Moskitos mehr!

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, le personnel très sympathique.
La chambre était impeccable.
Manque de restaurant autour de l ‘hôtel.
Nous avions pris juste le petit déjeuner, les restaurants de l’ hôtels sont chers.
Il n’ y a pas de vie autour de l’ hôtel, on est un peu retiré.
Pour vous reposer , c’ est super l’ hôtel est très agréable avec son magnifique jardin.
