Great get away! But it is an old building.

The staff was great and very nice and kind to us! The room itself had everything we needed but it is an old building where sounds in other rooms can easily be heard and the plumbing seems like it needs updating. That being said I quite enjoyed my stay especially for the price!

Decent stay in double bed room. Complimentary biscuits provided between 9 to 11pm were nice. Breakfast is nice too with wide spread of choice. We had our dinner at the resort with 12% discount. It’s a full course meal with reasonable price from appetiser, soup, bread, salad, main course and desserts. Warm hospitality from the receptionist (陈小姐). She arrange a free transport for us from Hanging garden to The Old England and from Old England to Cingjing farm. We had a free access to the garden in Old England for Hanging garden customer. Starbucks, convienvent store and restaurants are within walking distance. Cons are the bed was soft and dead insects in the room.

The stay was relatively comfortable, the meals (Supper and Breakfast) are quite up to the standard, just that there were ants in the room in some places of the room which is quite obvious and the bathtub after bathing you can the ants crawling from one corner to the other. Furthermore, there is no lift and only levels of staircase. Do consider if you have heavy luggage. Overall, will still recommend to experience the stay.

The room was smaller than expected and has the vintage cottage feel. The service is good however there are no elevator for heavy luggages and you have to climb up the ladders to your rooms. I would not recommend for folks travelling with old folks or people with mobility difficulties

The hotel serves good breakfast and dinner. Value for money.

Good service from ms chen, she assist my family to make all sort of arrangement during our stay, including the trip to the lushan hot spring. The breakfast is simple and enjoyable, and the dinner is great. Would recommend to go for the steak. 2 bad point will be uneven steps to the room which is bad for eldery or travel heavily. And the queaking sound from the bed when i was turning around as it is still an old place

The room is great and they do provide ear plugs for a quiet sleep. I love the free tea break after check in. There are varieties of cookies, dessert, coffee, English teas and soda drinks provided. The hotel have an optional dinner that but the price is a bit pricey. We decided to join the dinner due to previous good comments from Expedia. And have not regretted. The steak was delicious and I especially enjoyed the passion fruits salad sauce from the buffet table. Overall, everything was great. However there are some minor things need to be improved. There was a balcony besides my room. The surrounding was nice and beautiful but a bit messy. There were big rubbish bags by the side which affected the nice surroundings.

清靜舒適享受的一個假期

今次打算來一個減壓休息的旅程，上次來過清境這家酒店，覺得很放鬆，所以今次就拋下腦袋在這裡訂下4天的住宿。

這裡的員工都很友善，見面會微笑和點頭，都讓我覺得沒壓力。其中一位陳副理，得知我們沒有特別計劃，很有耐心為我們介紹附近遊玩景點，如何坐交通，更為我們詢問觀星day tour有沒有空位，替我們安排。

這裡的晚餐是自費的，試了炸豬手和鱸魚，味道和風味都很不錯，價錢合理，尤其是豬手更差不多是每一桌的必點菜式。只是晚餐時間比較早 -- 6:30PM，對平常晚吃飯的我來說有點兒不慣 ^_^'

由於是4天的充裕旅程，除了完全制霸了附近的景點：青青草原、比較新的天空步道、瑞士小花園，也參加了一個合歡山日出之團，可惜的是日出時份很大霧，看不到日出紅日的一刻，過了半小時後霧散的時候太陽早就掛在天空，不過高山上早晨的山景，那種空氣感，還是很美麗和不能不按下快門的。

酒店養了幾隻貓，牠們都不怕人，還會主動靠過來示好，人都被治癒了 XD 這些機會當然不能放過，可以盡情摸一下這些毛孩兒，也近距離拍了不少照片。

We stayed two days in the hotel. The location is convenient and you can walk to most of the tourist spots. The services is good. The hotel provides free afternoon snack and night snack to the guests with quite a lot of choices. The hotel also put a lot of measures to reduce noises made to customers. We stayed in a double room with front view but the condition of the room is not good and needs renovation. Other than this, we enjoy our stays.

Nice hotel but slightly run down. If you have large and heavy bags, be prepared to carry all the way to your room via a long staircase.

Not a good location to see sun rise as the hotel is located inside the mountains. Those hotel that located at the edges of the mountains will has a better view for sun rise.

Very noisy at night. Wooden floors and ceiling creaks when people upstairs walk. There is no heater in the room and it gets slightly cold in the room. Food is pretty decent although the dinner is slightly pricey.

OK stay but no view from my room

Booked through Hotels.com but the room view was nothing. I think they have rooms with better scenery view in their own website. My mistake to change from another hotel to this as I am looking for room with good view. As I self-drive, location is not so important.
My room was quite big, clean and well decorated, but it it at the top floor and I have to climb 3 storey.
A little disappointed.
If you are looking for good location, you can still choose as it is very near to 7-11, Swiss garden.
No comment on their restaurant as Breakfast and Dinner are not included.

This place is very enchanting. A number flights of stairs greets you before you get to the front-desk hotel crew, so take note if you have elders or heavy huge luggage. We had help from a young dude, whom nearly lugged 2 of the big luggage (28 and 30 inch) up the stairs from front-desk to our room (the highest level room) - jaw dropping strength and effort and may very well dangerously over-exert himself. Had to tip him for this!

I am happy with the room we got as it was really charmingly decorated. It came with 2 single and 1 double bed, and a balcony where you can view the full moon if you were lucky. We were that lucky, but the view of the moon was layered by spider webs (huge webs) so that kinda dampened the awesome view :P

Note that, there were no heater, no aircon (given that it is already very cold especially at night you won't need the air-con), but there were fans.

The most displeasing of the room has to be the beddings, as we our sleeping attire did not fully cover us to toes and fingers, it made us itched and thus decided to sleep on top of the blankets which seems to alleviate the problem. Would be nice if the hotel could take a look into this.

The 4 person room is located right on top of the slope on the 3rd row of houses. A long flight of stair to climb up. My luggage weight 20kg. The hotel offer to bring it up for me when I checked in. It was great. Else will be a back breaking task. When I check out, the hotel staff did the same for me. I am grateful as I was with 2 young kids. Nice hotel with good services.

Had a hard time looking for the place, not a very elderly friendly place to stay as there's no lift, you need to climb the stairs (We climbed 3 storeys of steep stairs to our room) Room is generally clean with a build in toilet. Bad thing is we returned back to our place at night one particular night, to our horror, we have to walk a very long alley to our place and there's totally no light along the road alley. Totally pitch dark. Suggest people to return back to the place before 6pm as after 6pm it'll be pitch dark.

The main barrier was the stairs in the hotel. From the tiny carpark to the reception, it was a great struggle to bring up our luggage. Furthermore, it was the rainy season and there was no shelter throughout. That was a rather bad start. There aren't any options for meals nearby and breakfast had to be separately paid for from room rates, unlike many of the other hotels in Nantou.

There are better options...

The service provided by the hotel was rather reasonable as they provided a short introduction upon check in, as well as made arrangement to place our luggage in the room. The room was not air-conditioned but it had all the other basic items that you may require. Cleanliness of the room can definitely be improved which we feedback to the reception when we checked out. Although they provided free shuttle service to the Cingjing farm, you will need to place your reservation in advance as we were informed of that when we missed the shuttle and had to find other means to head up to the attraction. Unless you have private transport to and fro the property, the walk back to the accommodation at night might not be too safe as the road was pretty dark.

We are a family of 6, we checked in quite late at about 8-9pm. The location was probably the only positive review cus its near the tourist hub. The guy recept on duty that night wasn't friendly, we ask him some question with regards to the buses timing to the farm and to the Taichung HSR, he kinda ans part thereof. In the end we google about it ourselves.

The next morning, we started our day at about 7:30am and ask about the bus trip to the farm again and the other recept says we have to prebook a day before, which the rude guy from last night didn't inform us about. So we kinda travel part by foot, part by public bus along the way up the hill.

The room is only about 40% of what the photo shows. it is very small and cramp. u can only open 1 luggage at a time. With 6 adults in that room we can only walk sideways. ppl sleeping at the 2nd level, can't move, cus when they move the bed will make lots of creaking noise. Overall, i will not recommend this to anyone and it doesn't worth the price.

雖然之前就聽說隔音效果很差，實際住了之後才知道不是一般的差。跟隔壁簡直沒有牆似的，晚上被吵到好幾次。
Wifi連線很差。
民宿門前有幾個公共的垃圾桶，地上都是垃圾，也沒清理，簡直像垃圾場。每次回去或出門都需要掩鼻而過。不知道是不是和附近幾個民宿共用的，但是自己家門前是個垃圾場，也不清理，讓客人每天對著垃圾場，老闆的公共道德態度可見一斑。
晚上供的是西餐，卻不賣葡萄酒，不知道理由是什麼，但是服務的確很一般。早餐不好吃。
總之，雖然我沒去過附近其他的民宿，但我絕對不會去第二次，也會提醒其他朋友，千萬別踩雷。

床架應該有點歷史，會搖晃發出聲音，枕頭巾裡的枕頭都泛黃有異味，浴室的熱水不夠熱，唯一值得誇讚的是房間有暖氣空調

住宿位置佳，步行十分鐘內到達附近超商。青青草原也在很近的地方。晚間有夜宵提供。
住處寧靜，尚算舒適，唯床架轉身時有點吵，和洗手間有點異味外，和一些塵埃，整體舒適，良好，也可以看到星星。
樓梯較長，但有職員協助搬運行李，所以也沒差。

空中花園係我今年第二次入住2019年10月13日，雖然每次只係入住一晚，但前台的員工仍然細心講解，酒店設施和入住詳情及周邊配套，笑容十分親切，尤其是餐飲部的同事表現十分細心，而晚餐價格與周邊價格相比並不貴，款式及質素令我10分滿意，就今次住宿這二日，整體十分滿意！

這次連續住宿兩晚，兩間四人房，
住宿的前幾日有連續下雨，但是我們入住的房間一進去發霉味道很重朋友那間卻不會，和櫃檯反應，我表示希望換房對方一開始沒有同意，僅提供除濕機給我們請我們再試試看！晚上吃完晚餐回房間霉味依舊，其實我覺得這個已經不是前幾日下雨的問題，因為入住那間壁紙/窗簾都是發霉嚴重，二樓閣樓地板的積塵嚴重..
晚上10點多致電櫃檯表示換房，對方沒有再問原因就讓我們更換。
第二晚的住宿品質基本上好很多，不過發現床底下還有之前房客的垃圾及肉眼可視的灰塵。
另外，戶外階梯有一張衛生紙垃圾，第二天白天一早就發現等到我們第三天退房時還在。
希望可以改善價格和品質嚴重不符之狀況。我覺得第一晚發霉嚴重的房間根本就不該安排給旅客，抑或是先告知或降低價格可以接受的人在入住。
服務人員很輕切但是覺得清潔反而是旅客覺得最基本的訴求。

有搜尋之前旅客的評價，發現有不少人反應品質越來越下滑的狀況，很多是一年之前以上的留言，不過本次住宿後發現，店家似乎沒有進行旅客反映的改善，覺得失望。

民宿環境不錯，服務人員態度很好！不過略顯不足就是設備需要更新一下，因為我們住空中花園4人房，只有一台空調對著2樓的床，下面完全沒有冷氣....
整體來說是不錯的，走路3-5分鐘有便利店！往上走10分鐘可以到達清境農場和天空步道.

雖然旅店已有多年，但房間內仍然算非常整潔舒適，床舖亦舒適，不足之處是枕頭太軟。員工服務態度非常好，樂於幫忙。餐廳提供的食物亦十分美味，並為住客提供免費下午茶及宵夜茶點。

舒服之旅

櫃台人員很好，見我媽媽年紀比較大，由原本比較高既房間幫我們轉低一層，所以印象好好。
問她附近搭車地方，都她詳細講，很好人！

住宿偏了點，不好找，酒店員工很禮貌及熱情，住在離大堂4樓，門外有公衆露台，境色閛開揚，大堂餐廳供應特色茶點、麵包，花茶及㗎啡，可坐著上網，開聊消磨時間，自費晚餐也有特色，價錢中上。

在空中的花園

我們入住的房間就在酒店正門的上一層，有一個露台，早上坐在露台對著帶點霧氣的山境，聽著大堂播放的純音樂，喝著熱咖啡，感覺自己真的在渡假。酒店的半自助晚餐超有水準，而且住戶是有優惠的，絕對值得一試。櫃檯的陳小姐跟介紹房間的李小姐都很親切，特別是陳小姐總是能為我們解答問題及提供意見給我們。還好我們帶著小型的行李箱，如果帶著大型行李真的有點不方便，由停車場到大堂全是梯級，由大堂到房間也只有梯級。

服務親切讓人感覺溫馨

這次228連假我很早之前在訂房網上就預定好了，木屋造型美麗溫馨，我住本棟，房間很大我很喜歡，寢具細緻睡起來很舒服，因為飯店是全木造建築，所以只要有人走過走廊或樓上房間走動時就會有聲音，不過飯店貼心房裡都備有耳塞，因為寢具舒服，很快就睡著了。
服務人員態度親切良好，餐點好吃，晚餐還贈送餐前酒，還有免費宵夜。
飯店離附近景點如小瑞士花園和7-11商圈，空中步道等都很近，晚餐後可夜遊，隔天早上吃完豐盛的早餐後，我們走附近的櫻花步道去空中步道散步，視野廣闊景色優美讓人心曠神怡。
退房時填寫問卷還贈送小禮物，另外還送300元的住宿抵用券，於台灣休閒旅遊協會旗下15間飯店都可抵用。
這次住宿整體而言讓我們很滿意，下次有機會還會再來的。
