Property was very old, dirty and not maintained. Staff was untrained and the food was disgusting. The Location on the ocean was nice, but they did not provide towels for the beach chairs. The mattress was very uncomfortable so I pulled back the sheet and was horrified at how dirty and disgusting was the mattress. Parking was very limited so that the cars had to park close together that you could not open your doors and had to remove the luggage before parking. The staff smelled as if they had not bathed in a week, toilet would not stop running, and the shower was disgusting. At best this a 2 star hotel with a bad smell. Avoid this dump

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive. June appears to be off season so the resort wasn't sold out. Nice breakfast served by staff daily.

Hot water was solar generated so with 11 hours of sunlight and clouds, we generally missed the hot water. There were only two outlets in the room. One near the floor under the desk and one by the bathroom sink so charging electronics and heating hot water for coffee and tea was a challenge.

Bel emplacement et joli petit hôtel

J’ai réservé cet hôtel en dernière minute et les notes étaient très moyennes. En fait l’Hôtel très bien situé près des plus beaux resort de Flic en Flac un peu plus au calme qu’en plein centre, le lagon magnifique et chambre très spacieuse.
Personnel sympathique, petit déjeuner anglais et français de qualité et compris dans la nuitée. Activités de snorkeling et de bateau à fond de verre gratuites avec le complexe voîsin.
Seul bémol, la salle de bain aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement.
Merci excellent séjour.

Just what we wanted!!

We stayed there 25 days in all. Staff very helpful when things went wrong. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis so we tried the evening buffet occasionally but we preferred to go out to other restaurants in Flic-en-Flac. Facilities were sufficient for our needs with a pool,sun loungers and easy access to the beach for swimming. Staff invariably helpful with one's requests whatever situation arose. It was just what we wanted!!

If you are driving, location of this hotel is not a problem.

Lovely stay ...great friendly staff

We had a lovely stay, kis were spoilt rotten by the friendly staff who would always come and talk to them every day. The day manager was extremely friendly and would always come and say hello to all of us and ask if we were ok. We were on bed and breakfast whilst there as we know the area of Flic en Flac very well. No cpmplaints...kids found the little birds flying in and out of the restaurant highly entertaining!

It was not easy to locate this hotel because there was no any sign or direction by the road, only went inside and passed the pearl hotel next to it we finally saw it. Our driver complained about it many times! The room was not spacious and looked dull even all lights on,and our room was near the bar but the worse is there was one cm deep door gap , so we had to endure some music or noise when we slept. Besides this, for the half-board food, we could only say it was just so so.
The hotel is a three star one but it is small not only from outside planning but also from room layout.Maybe it is just located at a beach, and this is worth the money we paid.

GOLD BEACH HOTEL & RESORT -FLIC EN FLAC-MAURITIUS - If you are looking for a peaceful time around X,mas- do not stay at this hotel and avoid the sea facing rooms as it has the bar, restaurant, swimming pool below and the music is so loud that you cannot relax and also cannot hear the TV in your room.

La porte de la chambre se ferme mal. On a donc le bruit du couloir toute la journée dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était très moyen. La literie faisait du bruit et était un peu rigide. La salle de bains est assez âgée

Cet hôtel avec quelques investissements de modernisation salle d’étains , mobilier etc… et peut être un upgrade en prestations bar restauration et donc prix serait sûrement très apprécié.
Car le site est bon, les batiments sont sympas quoique un peu vieux et le personnel sympa.

Das Personal war sehr nett und bemüht, teilweise etwas chaotisch. Schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf Pool, Strand und in den Sonnenuntergang. Zimmer schön und gepflegt, vollkommen in Ordnung. Frühstück und Dinner vom Buffet ok, Abwechslungsreich und Geschmacklich.

Grille pain HS, Buffet du dîner limité en choix, froid et sans saveur.
4 parasols uniquement.
Par contre, un personnel accueillant et très disponible toujours près à satisfaire les manques de l'établissement

Hôtel très bien placé

Hôtel les pieds dans l eau avec vue sur la mer. Accès facile au centre ville en prenant le bus. Hôtel ciblé plus pour le repos car aucune activité prévue. Dommage qu' il n y ait pas plus d explication lors de l arrivée sur le déroulement de l hôtel car nous n avons pas trouvé la salle de fitness et ils ne communiquent aucun prix sur le spa

Idyllisk strandhotell med forbedringsmuligheter

Idyllisk område med flott strand. Ikke bra renhold på rommet. Etter at romservice hadde vært på rommet lå det forsatt sand igjen på badet. Det var ikke flytende såpe i såpedispenserne men det var lagt frem såpestykker.Ikke toalettbørste på toalettet. Frokosten kan forbedres. Melk og juice var ikke kald. Lite frukt selv om Mauritius flommer over av frukt. Ikke kokt egg, bare stekt og omelett. Kun en type ost og kjøttpålegg. Ikke stort utvalg av grønnsaker og salater til middag. Veldig indisk preget.

Un peu déçus

Hôtel situé un peu loin de tout sinon identique aux photos. L'accueil décevant : bien que nous ne soyons pas exigeants et difficiles, nous avons été déçus et étonnés par l'accueil et notamment les jus de fruit non glacé qui nous ont été servis.
Le personnel est agréable, sans plus. La chambre 104 est à EVITER. Nous avons tenté d'en changer, sans succès... Cette chambre donne sur les moteurs des clims, donc à éviter si vous ne supportez pas le bruit et voulez une belle vue. Un petit effort de ce côté là aurait été bienvenu.
Les plats très épicés étaient, dans l'ensemble bons, mais à éviter si vous ne voulez pas passer vos journées aux toilettes.
De même que la musique de fond qui accompagne les repas devrait être changée car elle passait en boucle tous les jours...
Dommage aussi qu'il n'y ait pas eu plus d'animation.
Honnêtement, je n'y retournerai pas.

très déçus en arrivant, nous n'avons pas eu les chambres réservées, internet payant, pas vue sur mer, aucun confort, fuites d'eau, problème de literie.
hotel.com devrait bien s'entendre avec l'hôtel avant d'annoncer tous ces prestations.

Enkelt hotell med suveränt läge. Vi hade halvpension (med middag), maten var ok men inte mer än så. Hela anledningen till att välja detta hotell är placeringen på stranden.

Appena siamo arrivati abbiamo dovuto farci cambiare il letto xche corto e stretto. Arredamento della camera pessimo: frigo piccolo da Max. 4 bott.posato x terra e con la ruggine. Vetro bagno rotto e camera rifatta dopo le 4 p.m. Colazione buffet misera: dopo le 9 non c'era più nulla.servizio sdraio spiaggia inesistente

Très bien situé, les pieds dans l'eau.

Très bon accueil et prise en compte dès notre arrivée. Hôtel excellemment situé avec piscine et transat très corrects.
Cuisine de qualité mais repas de Noël pas à la hauteur de l'événement. Literie agréable mais dommage que la chambre avait encore des odeurs de cigarettes et que tous les matins la salle de bains regorgeait de petites fourmis arrivées de je ne sais où !
Enfin, il est dommage que la WIFI ne soit pas inclus dans le prix de la réservation. Nous avons pris la WIFI pour 24h00 mais il n'a pas été possible de se connecter durant le séjour...

Trestjärnigt på lyxresort

Hotell med restaurang och soldäck precis vid stranden. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal om än med ganska knackig engelska. Maten på hotellet var helt okej men ganska dyr för kvalitén som bjöds. Perfekt om du vill ligga på stranden, snorkla, åka på båtutflykter m.m. Finns en rad hotell i närheten som går att äta lunch/middag på om du tröttnar på det egna hotellets mat. En del underhållning i form av musik och dans på helgdagar men inget ställe att bo på om du vill ha nära till nattliv och utekvällar. Annars ett utmärkt och prisvärt alternativ på paradisön.

Accueil avec cocktail. Personnel à l'écoute, serviable et agréable. Chambre correcte. Repas et buffets excellents. Hôtels les pieds dans l'eau et calme.
Par contre certaines informations données par hotels.com sont inexactes et demandent à être réactualisées. Ex : je reçois ma confirmation de réservation\"pension complète\" puis deux jours après je reçois la même réservation mais avec cette fois \"petit déjeuner gratuit\"... Je rappelle que l'hôtel m'a demandé de me fournir les documents de ma réservation ! D'autre part le site d'hôtels.com précise la possibilité de transfert hôtel aéroport A/R oui mais pas au tarif indiqué sur le site !!!

Hotel accueillant sur la plage

Super expérience cet hotel convient aux personnes qui n'aiment pas les gros hôtels blindés ...petit hotel très convivial avec un personnel très agréable au petit soin pour que votre séjour de passe bien ... Hotel sur la plage ce qui est génial ... Buffet varié pas il y a ce qui fait en choix et tout est trés bien cuisiné :)

Hotel mit Strandzugang. Der Strand ist eher schmal aber mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen ausgerüstet. Die Hotelanlage ist ruhig und gepflegt. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind gross. Das Morgenessen ist etwas eintönig, dafür ist das Nachtessen umso abwechslungsreicher und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet.

Vi opplevde et rent og pent hotell med god service. Hotellet var lite og enkelt i forhold til de andre resortene i nærheten, men med meget bra beliggenhet rett på stranden. Det var heller ikke noe støy fra veien, noe man bør være oppmerksom på når man skal bestille, da flere av hotellene ligger rett ved veien. Forventinger er alltid en vesentlig faktor og våre forventninger ble innfridd. You get what you pay for! Hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening. Vi hadde halvpensjon. Maten var ikke den mest spennende, men med et par måltider andre steder, ble det helt greit.

С уверенностью можем сказать, что с отелем нам повезло. Хорошее соотношение цена-качество. Берег (Flick-en-Flack) - одно из лучших мест на острове. Мы остров объехали весь по кругу и знаем, о чем говорим. Отель маленький, но удачно спроектирован. В нем уютная домашняя обстановка. Каждый день уборка в комнате и смена белья. Персонал великолепный, очень стараются, доброжелательное отношение. Еда вкусная, каждый день новые блюда. Отдельно хочется сказать о водителе-гиде. Его зовут Субаш (Subhash). Все поездки по острову были с ним. Мы сэкономили много времени и денег, т.к. увидели много того, чего не увидели бы сами, если бы арендовали машину. Народ на острове очень добрый и приветливый, а Субаш, наверное, один из лучших его представителей. Он прекрасно знает местность, дороги, достопримечательности, магазины и пр. Работает не за чаевые, а стремится сделать так, чтобы вам было хорошо. Ему от этого тоже хорошо. Он стал нашим другом. Рядом расположены 5-и звездочные отели с огромными территориями и большим количеством народа. Но мы не чувствовали себя ущербными, т.к. было то же море и тот же убранный пляж, плюс семейная обстановка.. Если ваши запросы не слишком завышены, то рекомендуем этот отель.Нам здесь было даже лучше, чем в 4-х звездном отеле в Таиланде (на Пхукете) в одной из прошлых поездок..

Il ne faut pas aller dans cet hôtel si l'on souhaite un hôtel 4 ou 5 étoiles.
C'est un vrai 3 étoiles avec les tarifs qui vont avec. L'avantage d'un petit hôtel familial, avec un repas du soir excellent, le midi c'est plus léger. Vous aurez droit à panier repas le midi ou crêpes au goûter mais seulement si vous le demandez.
Si la chambre ne vous convient pas, n'hésitez pas à en demander une autre.
Tout est propre et le personnel est au petit soin. 1 seul soir d'animation dans la semaine, mais très sympa. Attention pas de chambre twin, ils rajoutent un petit lit dans la chambre.

Siisti hotelli ihan rannalla,ranta on hyvä,pitkä ja rauhallinen ja snorkkaus onnistuu heti hotellin edestä.Henkilökunta ihan ok,puolihoidossa iltaruoka oli aina samantyylistä mutta ihan syötävää silti.Myös aamupala toisti itseänään,pitempään lomaillessa kyllästymisen vaara on suuri! Kaukana Flic en Flackin keskustasta joka on pieni paikka.Liikenteen melu ei häirinnyt,todella rauhallinen ympäristö.
Hyvä hotelli rentoutumiseen ja auringonpalvontaan.

Hotel sympathique dans l ensemble. Chambre décevante; literie de mauvaise qualité, salle de bain mal agencée et propreté laissant a désirer! petit déjeuner et buffet du diner corrects. Plage un peu petite manquant de transat. Personnel serviable et accueillant.
