The location is a little remote but absolutely stunning and extremely quiet. Everything was very clean and the staff very welcoming. I wish we could have stayed a little longer but we had to be off early. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Simply lovely

Fantastic stay. We stayed for a couple of nights but wish we could have had longer to enjoy the views. This is a very special place. We had a wine tasting with Jacinta which was very special - a vertical Verdelho tasting where we drank 5 different vintages . Will be back!

Staying at A Serenada felt like stepping into a dream. The food? Exquisite. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. The wine pairings? Perfect — every single glass elevated the meal in a way that made the evening unforgettable.

If you only get to experience one night here, do the dinner with the wine pairing and book a panoramic view room — trust me, it’s worth every cent. The music during dinner sets the perfect tone, breakfast is fresh and light, and the entire atmosphere feels intimate and special without ever being pretentious.

I honestly can’t think of a single thing I’d change. It’s rare to find a place that checks every box — but this one does. It’s easily the best experience I’ve had anywhere in Portugal, and I feel so lucky to have found it. Like something out of a movie — only better, because it’s real.

This is a very special boutique hotel in the middle of the Olive trees and vineyard. Very quiet and calm. Only 30 mins from the famous comporta beach which is gorgeous .

Gloriously Romantic Stay at Serenada

This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. They provide one complementary glass of wine and with that we ordered an afternoon snack, expressing our interest in salad. We got a large fresh, delicious, healthy salad to split between us. So good! They have a set meal in town, which was not something we wanted that night, so we ate in town. We both wish that the offering was something to our liking, but we fully understand with the limited staff. Those guests who did stay for the meal seemed to have an excellent meal. The complementary breakfast in the morning was also delicious. This is one of the few visits where we wished we were able to stay a second night, and if it were a little warmer, we would have jumped in the pool, which looks out over the vineyards. It is a stunning property run by an efficient competent staff.

Nice property quite and relaxing with beautiful view. The only drawback - there are no shelves on bathroom to place toiletries which is inconvenient. No wash cloth either. Breakfast was great.

This guesthouse is located on a secluded vineyard on a dirt road (2km). It is exquisite! The area is beautiful and tranquil. The room is clean and modern and the breakfast was excellent! We would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this place!

Don't let the dirt roads leading up to the property fool you. This place is beautiful and the property is inspiring overlooking the mountains of Grandola. The room was a vert nice size and clean. The staff are friendly and take very good care of you. This is the perfect spot for that quiet retreat or that pit stop in between Lisbon and The Algarave. Would be happy to return.

While the staff were very nice we were disappointed in the accommodation itself. It was outdated and in need of an overhaul. The room itself was clean but the common areas needed cleaning. Breakfast wasn’t particularly appealing, however, we had a nice dinner and the wine was really good.

Serene and Peaceful

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. Accommodation was clean and all the blankets, towels were wrapped. The location was calm and serene with a pool overlooking a vast forest. Nothing else was in sight so the night sky was lit with stars as no light pollution. The staff were kind and considerate and we spent our two days regarding our batteries before heading back to the UK. Stay here highly recommended but be aware you may never want to leave. Idyllic.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel is off the main road and requires a car to get to. It is beautifully set in countryside and has a spectacular view of the area. One of the owners greeted us and showed us the breakfast area and our room. We got an upgrade without asking. The room has 2 beds close together which can be used as a double bed if required. There is a fridge with their own white and rose wine chilling in it. There is also a bottle of red on the counter. There is a wood stove in the room, AC and heat. The bathroom has a large shower with lots of hot water. There was a balcony from which you could get a fantastic view of the beautiful countryside. The breakfast, included in the room cost, consisted of bread, buns, cheese, cereal, coffee and juice. They also made us scrambled eggs and pancakes.

My partner and I spent 3 nights at this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We booked a suite with a small kitchenette, fireplace, huge shower, comfy bed and great view over the estates own vineyards. We loved the cleanliness, quality furnishings, products and thoughtful design.
The welcome was warm, enthusiastic, friendly and informative. We were made to feel at home by the staff. Communication was no trouble as English was spoken well by all.
Food (breakfast and dinner) was a simple but well executed affair - I have some food intolerances which were carefully noted and adhered to with ease.
We enjoyed tasting the various wines produced by the estate and look forward to purchasing some now we've returned home.
We spent our days touring the Alentejo region (Evora, Moura, Monzarat) and enjoyed a day at the Comporta beach which was an easy drive from the hotel.
All in all an excellent stay and I would happily recommend A Serenada to anyone wanting to enjoy some Alentejo hospitality in a natural yet luxurious setting.

Charming place to unwind on your holiday

We chose Serenada to celebrate our 3rd anniversary and it was everything we wished for. Located in a secluded area, it was the ideal place to relax and enjoy the lovely Portuguese summer. Staff was incredibly friendly and made us felt welcome in every interaction. For wine lovers, this is also a place where you can taste some good options produced in their own vineyard. Suggest you try it over dinner as you indulge yourself in traditional Portuguese food. In a nutshell, we were very pleased with our choice and would highly recommend other travellers to stay at Serenada.

Super complexe au milieu des vignes du même nom. Accueil très agréable avec beaucoup d‘informations sur la région et restaurants. Grande chambre très propre avec tout ce qu' il faut ( eau, vin, café, thé coffre fort). Endroit à l écart et très calme . Piscine à débordement avec vue sur le vignoble. Petit déjeuner excellent. C était top. Le personnel était très agréable et disponible

Rummet var fint inrett och sängen var skön. Frukosten var mångsidig och väldigt bra. Vi åt middag där 2 kvällar och de hade tillträtt köttet väldigt mört och gott. Ett lugnt ställe om man vill vila upp sig i den vackra omgivningen.

A rural escape only an hour from Lisbon

A really lovely place which manages to feel luxurious while still maintaining a rustic, country heart.
The room (we stayed in the suite with the panoramic view) was spacious and comfortable, and also made the most of the space with clever folding doors, etc. The bed was great, the shower excellent and the terrace view over the trees and landscape was glorious.
Dinner is really excellent value and delicious, and the accompanying wines were a great combination with them, too.
We'd like to come back at a warmer time of year to enjoy the pool. Breakfast was excellent, also.

Schöne Zimmer, modernes Bad, hervoragende Sauberkeit

Das Frühstück war sensationell.
Frisch! gepresster Orangensaft, frischer! Obstsalat, frisch pürierter Avocadomus, perfekt gebratenes Spiegelei mit Speck- einfach super.!

wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig

Sehr schönes, etwas abgelegenes Weingut. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Eine wohltuende Ruhe umgibt dieses Hotel. Ein Auto ist zwingend notwendig und man muss wissen, dass man stets fahren muss um z.B. zu Abend zu Essen. Fussläufig ist nichts zu erreichen. Der Chef empfiehlt und reserviert auf Wunsch Restaurants. Nach Voranmeldung kann man auch im Hotel speisen und / oder eine Weinprobe machen. Es hat uns gut gefallen und wir hatten noch einen schönen Sonnenuntergang dazu. Frühstück klein aber recht lecker. Eispeisen werden individuell gemacht. Bis 11 Uhr war ein entspannter Start in den Tag. Kleiner, schöner Pool mit überschaubarer Anzahl an Gästen. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig.

Mitten in der Natur gelegenes Weingut mit großartigem Panoramablicken; gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Auf Wunsch frisch zubereitetes und leckeres Dinner mit hervorragenden Weinen aus eigener Herstellung. Angemessener Preis. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist ok, wobei der stechende Geruch von Putzmitteln störend war. Speziell das Badezimmer war sehr dunkel. Lagebedingt weite Wege in den nächsten Ort oder ans Meer. Ansonsten ein hervorragender Tipp um vom Alltag herunterzukommen

Mais le petit déjeuner doit être impérativement revu:
Installer une bonne machine a cafe type delonghi, rien de plus désolant le matin qu’un cafe filtre qui réchauffe. On est au pays des jambons frais, des fromages locaux et du pain de l’Alentejo!! Pas les produits bon marché de grandes surfaces qui sont servir! L’expérience client c’est in ensemble de détails. Ils doivent tous se compléter.

Solamente estuvimos una noche, no nos dió mucho tiempo para ver los alrededores pero es un sitio espectacular en medio de una viña, con unas vistas increíbles, puesto con un gusto excelente e ideal para pasar un fin de semana diferente, tranquilo y disfrutando del entorno, las personas que lo atienden, son muy amables. conclusión está muy bien y se puede repetir
