Rough start, excellent stay

Thasheca gave clear details about the expectations for entering and leaving the property, how to use the appliances, etc within the apartment, as well as how to find reasonably priced places around town. She is prompt and very personable.

I strongly suggest that it be made clear on hotels.com that this property requires an appointment in order to enter the premises. The contact person/owner was VERY rude in declaring that expectation. As someone who has been using hotels.com for over 10 years ( for hotels and apartment rentals alike- in the USA, San Andrés, Colombia, Cuba, Panama), I have NEVER been spoken to the way I was when trying to check-in.
The distaste was taken away with entrance to the beautiful apartment and with the very personable way in which Thasheca communicated with me.

I have already shared pics with my family and friends who are looking forward to looking into renting the location for their upcoming vacations.

I searched for hours to find a place with all the amenities I needed. On the site this place seemed to be perfect but sorry to say some items were misleading. Let me begin: That cozy looking couch featured in the pictures was not in the apartment. Instead there was a Pleather banquette that was hardly meant for lounging. The add has air-conditioning as another amenity however only the bedroom has AC. Not “cool” especially when it is time to cook. I used the windows to allow hot air to escape when one of them completely fell out breaking into the ground below. It was then I realized another was cracked as well. There are no screens in the windows so flies will enter if you choose to open them. (Check for damage first). The only TV is located in the living area so no snuggling in bed watching it in the air conditioning. Yes there is a full kitchen however when I wanted to roast some fish, I discovered that the oven did not work at all, just the stove top, The microwave took a long time to heat foods compared to what I am accustomed to as well. Laundry facilities are also mentioned in 2 different places but when I asked the host, I was given a confused look followed by off-site directions. Like really??? The last point of concern is that you really need to pay attention to the added fees due at the time of arrival. It makes your stay cost significantly more than the price quoted. Calculate what you are REALLY getting and see if it is worth it.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Cssa Pinto. It's a reserved neighborhood near my grandparents. It was as pictured, clean and warm. Victoria was amazing, kind and easy to work with. The gentle man I spoke to at first made me uneasy and I almost felt like cancelling or telling him off, he didn't seem friendly or warm but he passed me to Victoria and because of Victoria, my experience was awesome. I was skeptical because locals do live on the property but they are quiet and peaceful, don't bother you. I mind my business they minded theirs just a smile, hi and bye. But I overheard them speaking and figured out that they lives there. I would recommend this property to any one. It is gated and safe.

Clean and quiet place to stay. Everything in excellent working condition, such as Wifi, cable TV, water pressure and cool AC so your vacation is stress free. Have the pleasure to meet Victoria, property Manager who will work with you and just a phone call away. Surely will be back. Muah continue to provide great customer service.

We had a very nice stay. The lock on the lobby door was a little stiff to turn the key. Other than that, the apartment itself was far above my expectations considering it did not cost a fortune. The communication, punctuality and belpfulness of the staff was also above average expectation.

I stayed 7 nights and have no regrets. I had a small challenge with the lock on the lobby door and they did not charge me for breaking the key in the lock. They were understanding about it and maintenance changed the lock within 2 hours. The apartment look just like the photos online and the amenities were just what I needed to feel at home and they were all in very good order. I would book Pinto or another of their Casa property in the future.

Pinto's Apartment was exactly like the photos and it was amazing to stay in. I was able to get in contact with the manager easily, in fact they contacted us. The apartment was clean and we were provided with all that we needed. The home was also close by a shopping area with grocery store. I would definitely stay there again without a problem.

The community itself is very quiet. I never saw anyone for the whole time I was there but I saw the cars in the lot so I know the place was fully occupied. This is the ultimate in enjoyment and privacy. The apartment we very clean and just like the photos and shopping areas are close. For the price it was well worth it.

Nice a cozy apartment, and the red decor is a really nice touch. The apartment was super clean and the AC cooled the entire apartment. There is not much space for a wash but if I were to stay here for a month I could see where I would want to do laundry. Other than that, this is a near perfect apartment and a near perfect experience dealing with the manger. Good upfront communication.

Positive experience. Love the staff and the overall vibes. Very helpful people. These people went all out to help me with my US Embassy appointment. They even arranged transport. There is no US Embassy in Cayman so Kingston is it. Blessings to CASA and all its employees, you lot are the best.

Traveled solo and really enjoyed the apartment. Coming in from the outside it looked normal but that apartment was everything but normal. I particularly like the way the colors and decor flow through the apartment. I could definitely borrow their decorators...lol All and all I was very pleased because everything was in working order, however I could have used some written instructions on how to operate the Cable TV. That said I requested help and maintenance came 20 minutes later and showed me. The staff made the real difference and make it worthwhile booking again.

Space is moderate, the bedroom was very spacious with full kingset and a sofa. Very comfortable and functional space. The apartment is tucked away and private. It was just what I wanted. I enjoyed the say and will return.

I liked the set up of the apartment the decoration was nice. I didn't like the buda statue, I don't think any religious figurines should be in a space that you allow anyone to rent. Especially if you don't believe in that religion. I didn't like the fact you had to have US dollar and they didn't take their on country's money! What's up with that? Outside of that we enjoyed the space it was very nice, quite and had security gate. If it had my way I would always use them. I frequent Jamaica a lot I need to check if they have apartments in Montego Bay. I recommend them highly!

Checking in and out were a breeze. No fuss, no hidden fees, and no bad attitude from staff. Although we did enjoy our stay overall we would like to note that this is not your average hotel room, this is a fully functioning apartment and perfect if you want all the comforts of home. I would stay there again.

Very nice

Being a first timer to booking on the internet. I had a travel agent i used for 30 years and she just retired so I took the plunge. This was a good first for staying in a guest apartment and booking it myself. The hosts were very helpful with directions from the airport to the apartment, and were flexible and allowed me to check in earlier than the official check in time. The place is as exactly advertised, great location and very helpful staff. I would stay again and recommend this clean and quiet apartment.

We stayed here a year ago and it was a very good stay. A year later they have totally renovated the apartment, added a safe and a few other thing. If you have any doubts about booking this apartment, let me say this, book it because you will not go wrong. We are very please with the way we are treated as repeat guest.

Amazing

This is honestly an amazing company to book with. Not only was communication great but they also provide driving services. That added a sense of safety and protection for me and my friend as it was our first time. The apartment is clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to a near shopping center although far from main attractions it was cool that just added to the beauty and authenticity of the trip. I’d like to personally thank everyone I came in contact with and the company as a whole for your hospitality and amazing service I WILL BE BACK !

If you want to enjoy the night life this city has to offer then ........ Is where you should be, I enjoyed the night life, had easy access to transportation and had a very memorable stay, place was clean, working a/c, cable and internet service and the staff I came across was very pleasant. These guys knew what they are doing. They contacted us shortly before arrival and communicated with us via WhatsApp in a group so the manager, driver and other staff were in the loop at all times. A warm thank you to the driver Ricardo who stayed at the airport and waited for us for 4 hours after our flight delayed. Staff was very polite and professional. The apartment looked better than the photos online. AC, hot water and WiFi all worked as do all the other amenities. The apartment was very nice, quiet, gated, private and centrally located. We would go back to that apartment.

CASA PINTO YEAH.

The property is clean, very new and well kept. It's perfect if you travel with single or a couple. I like that each bedroom has its own bathroom attached. The kitchen was well equipped so I cooked several local meals during my stay. Great location, just minutes drive to the nearest supermarket and local mall. There are several smaller shopping centers and restaurants within minutes of drive as well. Overall, I had a great experience. The property manager was excellent and professional, Ms. Thompson super personality. My transportation manager Ricardo excellent, very helpful.

Very clean, safe and secure!!

This was a great surprise! I booked this space thinking I would just have a room just to sleep while I visited Kingston. To my surprise I realized, I had access to an amazing safe and secure apartment. I had the ENTIRE apartment. Well equipped with wifi, air conditioner, cable television, a full kitchen, dining and living room. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and the staff was very accomodating and patient. Location was great, 5 minutes away from everything and very beautiful and safe locations. Gated and private. I would never book with anyone else, the experience was wonderful and even made me comfortable in a city with a very intimidating reputation, if you've never been before. The GM Kevin was patient and made sure any issues were handled as soon as possible and PMs Ms. Thompson and Ms. Gabriel made sure all my wishes were granted along with any information needed rcvd, they were both courteous, patient and willing to make any arrangements I needed to ensure I had all I needed to be comfortable. I have recently returned after this trip for another visit and was more than happy to make additional bookings with the same amazing experience. Transportation is available if needed and the Transport Manager Ricardo is also very nice and professional and even brought me to get groceries needed and advised I could call for any needs. Overall I would recommend this for anyone who wants to travel and have a real experience of Jamaica without being limited to hotels.

Casa Pinto ~Exquisite Hideaway

I say, Location, location, location... Casa Pinto is an ideal location for the modern island explorer. It is comfortably tucked away for one to enjoy the serenity of an \"island get-away\", yet not so far displaced to make one think... \"do these hill's have eyes\"... lol. The best part is, that some of Kingston's premier, entertainment, shopping, and what it offers as \"unique island adventures\", are less than 20 min away (driving time). Another plus, for the health paranoid tourist like myself, is that a major pharmacy is less than a mile away and offers some pretty good over the counter \"meds\" that you would otherwise need prescription for in the US. So all in all, if you want privacy but not ready for that all in island wilderness experience, you would find yourself more than satisfied with the location and accommodations Casa Pinto has to offer. It boasts a gated compound, full kitchen (stove ready), Living room inclusive of dining room table, Master Bedroom with King size bed, smart tv, modern decor, air conditioning. Great bang for your buck. I found the personnel accommodating and process of settling in as I arrived fluid, which isn't typical of non-hotel lodging.

Perfect apartment in a quiet spot in Kingston. The apartment was clean, comfortable and decorated stylishly. We never had any issues getting to and from all the wonderful local spots. I will say this property is better suited for business travelers or elders as the property is located in close proximity to local residents and we felt uneasy coming and going at all hours of the night since we were there to party for Carnival. We look forward to renting from Kevin again and soon as he, T and Ricardo made our trip flawless! Can't say enough how affordable and well appointed this guest apartment is.

Nice apt close to amenities.

I simply love the Casa guest Apts and staff, Kevin and his wonderful property manager at Casa Pinto and the driver that shuttled me to my destinations safely. Thasheca the apt and property was very well maintained with all the amenities as well as a gated complex. Ricky such a safe and site seeing driver. Thank you all for a wonderful SPRING BREAK. I recommend all to check out the Casa Guest Apts for your stay in Jamaica.

For anyone that's looking for the ultimate home away from home this nice self-contained one bedroom apartment. I was the perfect home, its clean, spacious, in a quite peaceful community. It was a decent ten minute walk to the Barbican Center to buy groceries so I suggest driving or calling a taxi. I wanted to enjoy the Jamaica scenery so I walked to the area every morning to either of the two cafe. Already planning my next trip to Jamaica and u can bet your last dollars that I will b staying there again.

My fiancée and I really enjoyed the stay, it was exactly as described. Ideal location, just minutes away from everything, actually we found a casino in Barbican Center which was minutes away. We had dinner at the casino and played some games. It was a great evening out. The manager was quite pleasant and always made himself available when I had any question. This was a AAA+ short stay and I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
