The shower had a lot of soap scum build up. The recliner in the room was broken with one side of the seat smashed down. The beds were not terrible. The cinnamon rolls were under cooked and doughy. We went to Quick Star for breakfast as there was only one Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich in the mini fridge and no staff around to refill it. For the price of the room you would expect more for the continental breakfast than bread, 2 bagels, some nutrigrain bars, some cereal, oatmeal packet, 1 jar of milk, water, and orange juice, and a half a pan of cinnamon rolls that were put out the night before. I am unsure how long they were on the counter but I seen them around 7:30pm. The other guests must have felt the same about their rolls as they threw theirs away as well. A walfle maker and fruit would have been nice. The thermastat in the room was tricky to set. We set ours at 68 and it was 72 in our room until the wind picked up outside and we woke up to 60°. Nothing like freezing after a shower. Thank goodness the bathroom had a timer heat lamp. However, no exhaust fan for when someone stinks it up. I wanted to love it, but even the shopping up town was a disappointment. Went to one shop that was still open at 4pm and she even complained to us about the irregular hours of the other shops up town. Was excited to go to the bakery, but it is no longer there. Make sure you call ahead to see if stores are open if wanting to shop uptown.

My daughter also stayed one of the nights I stayed and she found bed bugs in her room. I was very disappointed because we were both staying here and there's no other motels in town.She was refunded her money and I though maybe I should have too. Definitely will not stay there again

Coffee maker didn't work and while the advertised cinnamon rolls were good, there was no place within a 36 mile radius to eat breakfast!! The barking dog outside the window was annoying but not much management could do about it.

The room was very neglected. When we arrived, the refrigerator in our room wasn’t working. I went to get ice in the ice bucket, but it was moldy. There was food around the edges of the beds. I went to make coffee, opened up the water reservoir and it was slimy. The beds are very hard, ours was broken. There was mold around the ceiling in the bathroom. The place is very loud at night. It sounded like someone was running a vacuum all not but we think it was the heat running.

The place is an older building and has an older style but it is kept up. It was quiet and I felt extremely safe. We had the jetted tub room. The water gets hot and it fills up fast. I have stayed in so many rooms where that has been a problem but it wasn’t the case

There is pretty much nothing around here. Be advised, there's a Subway and I saw one Mexican restaurant.
Our room was on the second floor around the back side of the place. Not as quaint and cute back there at all. They really need to keep the trash by the back door empty and ideally away from the door. It stunk, bad. I actually held my breath when going in and out of the door!

This was an average hotel with average breakfast (but there were Amish cinnamon rolls). The room was dated and the bed was soft and bouncy. The carpet was newer and nice. It did have a quilt which I prefer to a polyester comforter. The staff was friendly. We lover the town. Very rural and lots of farm country. We saw Amish buggy’s and enjoyed the stores.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is i did not book 2 rooms, I booked a suite.

What a nice little place! Even though the office closed at 9 PM, our late check-in at 11:30 PM was accommodated. They put our tickets in an envelope and tape them to the front door of the lobby. The room was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the pillows were amazing! Good shower and the towels were plentiful. This was a good place to stay the night!
